The terms aims and objectives are used
synonymously.
Aim is general declaration of intent which gives
direction to a teaching programme.
Objectives help required in achieving a specific
aims which makes the study more useful and he
in bringing the desired bahavioual changes in th
students.
AIMS OBJECTIVES
Aim is general declaration

Objectives is a particular
point in that direction
Aim is the answer to the
question of why a subject is
taught
It is a answer to the
question of what will be
achieved after the teaching
of that topic
They are indefinite and
vague.
They are generally definite
and clear
These are close to the
ideals which cannot be fully
achieved.
Mostly the teacher is
responsible for their
fulfillment.
A lot of time is taken for their
achievement.
Time taken is not much .

To provide practical knowledge of the subject
matter.
To provide the latest knowledge.
To provide the broad objectives of Computer
Science.
To provide fundamental skills and processed for
proper understanding of the subject matter.
To give students broad appreciation of what
appreciation and development of computers mea
to the world.
To contribute specific ideals like concepts of
accuracy, diligence , versatility etc
To stimulate spirit of study, investigation, inventio
and exploring updates in the technology.
To develop their observation capacity.
To educate them regarding the application of
Computer Science in their day to day life.
To encourage them to read the life stories of
great Computer Scientists.

Aims and objectives

  • 2. The terms aims and objectives are used synonymously. Aim is general declaration of intent which gives direction to a teaching programme. Objectives help required in achieving a specific aims which makes the study more useful and he in bringing the desired bahavioual changes in th students.
  • 3. AIMS OBJECTIVES Aim is general declaration of intent which gives direction to a teaching programme. Objectives is a particular point in that direction Aim is the answer to the question of why a subject is taught It is a answer to the question of what will be achieved after the teaching of that topic They are indefinite and vague. They are generally definite and clear These are close to the ideals which cannot be fully achieved. Mostly the teacher is responsible for their fulfillment. A lot of time is taken for their achievement. Time taken is not much .

Aims of teaching computer science To provide practical knowledge of the subject matter. To provide the latest knowledge. To provide the broad objectives of Computer Science. To provide fundamental skills and processed for proper understanding of the subject matter. To give students broad appreciation of what appreciation and development of computers mea to the world.

Utilization aims To enables the students to make use of the study of Computer Science in their day to day life activities.

Problem solving aim To help the students to acquire Problem solvin ability by training them in scientific method or approach Social aim To help in the process of the development of society and inculcate social virtues and ideals among the students.

Inter disciplinary aim To help the students in utilizing study of computer sciences for the study of computer sciences for the study of other subjects of the school curriculum. Aesthetic aim To help the students in the inculcation of aesthetic sense and artistic values.
