authors have struggled to do no matter the length of their works. As a result, the dilemma within the art's nonprofit sector doesn't come across off as
dry and lengthy, but rather easy to understand and relatable. As an artist, she was able to bring together two worlds that both exist within the arts, but
are difficult to tie together – the artistic side and the economic side. Many of the papers I've read so far did well to focus and truly delve into the

With that being said, dog owners have to train them to become disciplined. Bekoff and Millan disagree with each other because they both have

The Bloody Chamber In the short story "The Bloody Chamber" by Angela Carter depicts a naГЇve young girl who is also the narrator who marries a
widow named Marquis. The girl is excited to venture into the world of adulthood, but that excitement ceases when she discovers the horrifying truth
of her new husband. Her husband begins to display a side that she has never seen before and what was supposed to be a fairy tale love becomes a story
full of lust and violence. In this unconventional damsel in distress tale, the narrator incorporates imagery, metaphor, and allusion to portray sexual

The text clearly focuses on the physical attributes of the girl and ignores discussing her inner and personal self. It shows how women are only
valued for their appearance, youth and innocence, which is why when the Marquis asks her to marry him, he does not do it out of love, but the
need for ownership over another wife. This is evident when she says, "I said that I would marry him, [but] not one muscle in his face stirred"
(Carter 9). Though the text does not state the reason for why he does not react to her answer in marriage, his behaviour suggests that he had no
doubt about her accepting his offer in marriage. He takes on the beliefs of a stereotypical male figure believing that they are the dominant figures in
society and have the power to take what they want. In this case, he wants the heroine. This is further looked at when the heroine takes into
consideration how the "Marquis had been married before, more than once " and wonders if "he [is] not still mourning for his last wife?" (Carter 9).
Her questions and curiosity provide insight into the Marquis' character as being someone who does not view marriage in terms of love for the other
person, but rather as a process that legally unites him to a woman, promoting patriarchy and gender norms. Nowhere in the story does it ever mention
why the Marquis decides to marry the heroine. Through their age difference, him being much older than she and his sexual acts towards her, it is
