– Exhibiting a lack of respect
– Taking credit for the success of the student
– Losing your temper or blaming the student
– Not supporting the student (having their back)
– Being emotionally stingy

•Identifying or aligning yourself with the student
•Possessing a genuine interest in the student
•Demonstrating a balanced approach to life
