Teacher reflects on new learning and shares with others by posting to grade level blog Teachers attend one district provided technology integration course of choice according to personal improvement reflections from previous PD sessions To gain insight from others in the district relative to technology integration and learn from others Attend District Technology Class Available Teacher reflects by collaborating with grade level team: 3 ways the team can integrate the new learning in the classroom during the next 6 weeks; how can the team support one another District Technology Support Teachers come to grade levels/classrooms for personal training on integration of these projects; teachers have opportunity to have hands on training and support; follow up/evaluation is 6 weeks later To learn new classroom practices/instructional strategies that require the student to use technology to create a project/product Assessment: Student Technology Projects/Products Teachers reflect on his/her new learning from the interviews by answering the questons: “What can I do with the knowledge that I’ve gained from these students? Who can help me? What do I need?” Random students are interviewed by TIC (video interview); teachers view student responses; teachers take notes on any new learning while watching the interviews To gain insight from students’ perspectives about using technology in the classroom; understand students’ interests and needs View Student Technology Video Interviews Teachers reflect on ways that he/she wants to personally improve relative to technology integration in his/her classroom; reflects on what he/she is already doing that contributes to the campus’ 3 strengths Small groups/grade levels will analyze STaR data and indentify 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses; each group will post on a chart; campus then chooses 3 to improve (consensus) To understand our strengths and weaknesses as a campus in relation to Texas Long Range Plan Review STaR Chart Data Evaluation Process Purpose Activity
