If spirituality is Himalayas, then bhakti-yoga is Mt.
Everest

Krishna explains in this chapter that practicing bhakti
yoga is the best way to practice spirituality. He also
answer Arjuna’s questions about the fate of a yogi who is
unsuccessful on the path of yoga
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE BHAKTI-YOGA WHEN THERE
ARE SO MANY OTHER YOGA OPTIONS AVAILABLE – LIKE
SILENT MEDITATION, YOGA POSTURES AND SO ON?
All the other yoga paths are difficult in this age. Arjuna
himself accepts that all these paths are difficult for him.
Therefore the prescribed method of yoga for this age is
the chanting of Holy names of Krishna and concentrating
one’s mind upon its sound. All the Holy names of Krishna
have divine power since Krishna’s name is not different
from Krishna. Therefore it is recommended by Krishna in

2. His form as Lord Caitanya that one should chant the
following mantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare |
Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare ||
Everyone can chant this Maha-mantra whenever and
wherever possible. This way we can clean our minds, feel
relief from anxiety and experience great joy.
