Analysis of different Network-on-Chip topologies (Sept, 14 – Dec, 14)
Guide: Dr. Sujay Deb Team Size-2
Different NOC topologies were analyzed by plotting injection rate versus latency and throughput. Hop
count was also calculated for the same.
Design of high gain CMOS differential amplifier (Oct, 14 – Dec, 14)
Guide: R.N Biswas
Double stage differential amplifier was designed in 65nm technology on cadence virtuoso
tool
Design of Wilkinson and trantanella power divider (Sept, 14 – Dec, 14)
Guide: Dr. M.S. Hashmi Team Size-2
Trantanella power divider for providing electrical and physical isolation in Wilkinson power
divider was designed in ADS (Advance Design System)
Driving motors to be used in automatic luggage tracker (Sept, 14 – Dec, 14)
Guide: Narang Kishor Team Size-4
Motors were driven by varying duty cycle using freescale board.
Proposing a new deadlock free topology for Network-on-Chip (Jan, 15 – April, 15)
Guide: Dr. Sujay Deb Team Size-3
A new topology was proposed with lesser hop count as compared to mesh and torus.
Designing circularly polarized patch antenna (Jan, 15 – April, 15)
Guide: Dr. Shobha Sundar Ram Team Size-3
Linearly polarized patch antenna was modified to circularly polarized patch antenna by cutting ‘X’ slot at
the centre.
Printless, High-Density, chipless RFID to replace barcodes (Jan, 15 – April, 15)
Guide: Dr. M.S. Hashmi Team Size-2
Printless, high-density RFIDs as replacement of barcodes for application in money
laundering was designed and simulated.
Timing analysis of dual port SRAM for write staggering (May, 15 – June, 15)
Guide: Anuj Grover Team Size-3
Timing analysis of dual port SRAM for write staggering and stability was tested.
Vehicle number plate extraction (Dec,12 – April,13)
Guide: Dr. Abhishek Acharya Team Size-3
Number plates of vehicles was read using template matching technique and checked in
database for improving security.
