Between 220 B.C. and 206 B.C., the Great Wall of China was built. It was built to be used as
defense against the nomadic tribes into the Chinese Empire. Although this barrier was not physically
successful, it psychologically separates their civilization from the world. This wall separated two
lands and two races. To the north, there are lands that tempted miners in search of gold, breeders
that want large prairies for his animals to roam, and the white race. To the south, there are sunnier
lands with rich soil and the black–haired race that are considered yellow (Geil 5–6). While there are

idea to standardize money gave the whole nation only one currency so no other currency was valid
during his reign as emperor. This was known as one of the biggest currency change around ancient
times. The standardization of writing and language allowed China to communicate effectively

Chinese traditionally used the hang?tu technique. This is when earth is put into wooden molds and
beaten until it is as compact as possible. The molds are then removed and the hardened earth creates

Han Dynasty built the wall in order to keep out attackers but since they built the wall someone
needed to protect it so the soldiers did and they would die.In document C, it also says the soldiers
had to work on the wall for two to five years because they had to work on it for so long they were
forced to leave for several years. If they never built the wall it wouldn't matter because soldiers
would go to war instead of dying from protecting the wall. In conclusion they should not halve built
