The Three Cities Within Toronto By David Hulchanski
Introduction
Throughout David Hulchanski's article, titled "The Three Cities Within Toronto," he divides Toronto into three cities by classifying neighbourhoods
according to individual income. He describes the city as dynamic, as neighbourhoods have changed through the years between the different classes. A
major factor that causes this change is gentrification, where low–income neighbourhoods are renovated, which results in replacing the low–income
residents with wealthier individuals. In contrast, the population of low income neighbourhoods has also increased as the population of middle–income
neighbourhoods have decreased. As a result of these changes, Toronto is increasing the number of high–income neighbourhoods and low–income
neighbourhoods, phasing out the middle class. Hulchanski accurately describes polarization through the process of gentrification and by creating more
cost friendly neighbourhoods for families throughout Toronto.
Neighbourhood Scale The field work site is located on Weston Rd., by Highway 401, in between Wilson Ave. and Sheppard Ave. W. This site contains
many houses, local places of worship, and convenience stores. Most of the homes are owned by families rather than individuals because of the
elementary school and the lack of condominiums. According to Hulchanski, common ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
W that is east of Allen Rd. is receiving upgrades because it is of proximity to the subway as well as to the bus stops in general. As a result, this
neighbourhood has undergone gentrification and attracted individuals of higher income. Much of the land across from Downsview Park (shown in
green) is commercial or industrial, which does not provide an incentive for gentrification. Therefore, there is a divide in the "cities" in this area due to
the location of the subway

Residential Building Sector
The residential building sector is one of the major energy consumers in North America. It accounts for 17% of energy used in Canada, resulting in 70
megatons (Mt) of annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) 2008). According to Natural
Resources Canada (NRCan 2010a), 65% of residential energy consumption is attributed to space heating by means of the primary fuel types, natural gas
and electricity (Statistics Canada 2007).
Due to the importance of reducing energy consumption from limited energy sources and minimizing environmental impacts, a number of
energy–efficiency measures have emerged for Canadian residential buildings in recent years. Provincial and national building energy codes have been

In this regard, Hamelin and Zmeureanu (2014) conducted a lifecycle cost analysis (LCCA) in a single–family home in QuГ©bec; they presented the
optimum thermal resistance value of building envelope that achieved the minimum lifecycle cost. The insulation level of recommended design in their
study was much higher than code requirements. This is due to the fact that the lifespan of an actual house is quite long, which provides a substantial
energy savings from better insulation and would have offset the additional initial cost in this case.
Given that cost is an important consideration in construction, this thesis aims to identify energy–efficient code–compliant solutions for cold climates
from a cost efficiency point of view.
1.1 Energy Consumption in Canadian Residential Sector
According to NRCan (2010c), there are four types of dwellings in Canada: single detached home (56%), apartment (31%), single attached home (11%),
and mobile home (2%). Figure 1–1 illustrates that residential buildings are the third largest energy users in Canada after the industrial and
transportation sectors, and that the residential sector is also responsible for 17% of the total consumed energy (NRCan 2008b). Figure 1 1:

Personal Narrative Essay: The Case Of Farmall M.
When I was near to eight years old, I walked outside when my father got home that nice warm summer day. I went over to where he was by his
truck and trailer to find that he was detaching chains from an old Farmall M that had been oxidized entirely and the motor and transmission had
been seized entirely. "It was a cotton picker down in Texas" he said, "she's definitely seen better days but we'll make it look brand new". Bang,
thump, ssss was all you could hear as we loosened the binders that held the pile of rust to the trailer and took the shackles back to the tool box.
We pulled the old girl into the shop and started tearing it down day after day night after night we worked frantically to find what parts we would
need to make a list and he went to get the parts as soon as possible and every day we operated on the M we would become one step closer to being
finished. When we got done with the motor, then the transmission, and finally the rear end housing, it was time to ensure labor on the exterior of the
tractor.
We started with a narrow front end to reduce mass over a single or wide front end. Then we began coating to make it look brand new. After that it was
time to assemble what was left, from lights to switches and mounts. Several months later we were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Personal Narrative : My Best Friend
It was Wednesday, the 22nd of March 2012. I woke up to my alarm clock blaring in my ear at 9:30 AM and I reached to hit the snooze button. I
slept for about another hour until my friend Tyler knock on my door. "Joel! Joel are you in there? Wake up man I'm about to go ride my bike for a
little while down the road. You better hurry if you want to come!" So I rolled out of bed and dropped on the carpet floor like a sack of potatoes. I
got up out of the floor and went to the bathroom to get ready to leave. I had to somewhat tame my shaggy dark brown hair and brush my teeth
quickly so that I could meet Tyler outside. "Took you long enough." Tyler said to me. "Well you can't rush perfection." I joked back to him. "Shut
up, only thing perfect about you is your perfectly round head." he quickly retorted. We were never being mean to each other when we said these
things because we both knew that we were kidding around and we never took anything seriously. Tyler was my best friend. He was only a little bit
younger than me and he had blonde hair and the same brown eye color as me. We had known each other since we were in preschool. I went over to his
house every day to play video games. I also remember that he wore the same exact Lakers jacket every day. It was a kind of dark and dreary day
outside and it was supposed to rain later, but we did not care because we were ripe for a long day of riding our bicycles down the highway with our
friend Darryl. The road that we lived on is

Being Covered from the Truth in Araby by James Joyce Essay
Being Covered from the Truth in Araby by James Joyce
"Araby" by James Joyce, is a short story about a young boy trying to find and his search for inner happiness. The main setting takes place in the boy's
neighborhood where he lives with his aunt and uncle. The sub setting takes place in an Araby or English bazaar, a carnival if you will. In the
neighborhood we find that there is; an uninhabited house that has not been occupied for some time, a girl, who's referred to as 'Mangan's sister', whom
the boy has a lustful crush on, and a story of a deceased priest. In the Araby we find a lot of empty booths, along with some hollow characters. The
neighborhood, the Araby, the boy, and other characters in the story have an overall theme... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They would play until fear came upon them of being seen by an adult or passerby. Then they would stop, and keep themselves hid from the 'truth of
sight', or someone seeing them, in the shadows. "If my uncle was seen tuning the corner we hid in the shadow until we had seen him safely housed.
Or if Mangan's sister came out on the doorstep to call her brother in to his tea we watched her from our shadow..." (para. 3).
The boy also hid his inner self from the truth, like the house, because of his own lust for Mangan's sister. He, being a boy, did not understand what
love was, yet pursued it trying to gain inner happiness. "Each morning" he would lie "on the floor in the front parlour watching her door. The blind
was pulled down to within an inch of the sash so that I could not be seen. When she came out on the doorstep my heart leaped" (para. 4). He lusts after
her thinking that is was pure love.
Later in a conversation between the two they talked about going to the Araby and the boy told her that if he went he would bring her something.
Thinking that he could buy the love of the young flower, he did not understand that the pure love, to which he clamed to have, could not be bought.
Yet, because of his lust which covered his reason, he went though an extreme amount of stress, getting money from his uncle and finding a way to get
to the bazaar, to be able to buy her a toy. So in search for his inner happiness he found only stress and

Descriptive Essay About South Boston
10. South Boston
Known as one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, South Boston is placed on a peninsula that extends into the Boston Harbor. It is linked to the
rest of the city through a narrow strip of land. Over the years, this strip of land has been gradually widened through landfill.
For over a century, South Boston has been one of the most populated neighborhoods in the city. In the mid–1800s, it was the third most populous
section of Boston. Over the year, new residential subdivisions have developed in the neighborhood. Each new subdivision has a unique character and
architectural style. Telegraph Hill and Dorchester Heights were both created in the middle of the 19th century to house the city's growing population
base.
Originally annexed by Boston in 1804, this neighborhood really started to thrive in the mid–19th century when the Old Colony Railroad made reaching
downtown Boston easy. Before long, it was a center of industry with shipyards, iron foundries and machine shops popping up everywhere. Today,
industrial buildings can still be found on the northern side of the peninsula.
Modern South Boston has many long–time residents as well as young professionals. With its easy access to downtown, this area is popular among
commuters. It boasts of a thriving nightlife scene and open spaces. Miles of waterfront parks and beaches can be found at areas like L Street Beach,
Carson Beach, the Strandway and Pleasure Bay.
For shopping options, residents can check

Semi-Detached Housing Changes
In Britain there has historically always been a belief that the ideal living situation is a married heterosexual couple with children. In this lifestyle
model the male of the house is the wage earner and the woman holds responsibility for domestic chores and rising children. This model is particular
apparent in the working classes during the early 20th century. In the years following the Second World War housing was designed and master planned
in a way that embodied these ideologies. These generalisations structured ideas about the location of new post war housing laying the way for married
women to be exploited in the low pay labour market. However rapid social change following the war resulted in greater number of women being drawn

These houses were amalgamation of retained social expectations of housework but also more progressive architectural ideas. The period saw great
change thanks in part to the influence of the Garden City Movements and Raymond Unwin. Unwin semis featured additional living space on the
ground floor, running hot water, internalised kitchen and bathing facilities. The extra living space on the ground floor provided an area for families to
engage with everyday life and again a parlour in the front of the house to entertain with. The changed position of the kitchen to inside the house really
demonstrates the change of gender perspective during this time, it lessened the separation of house tasks by bringing them closer to the family. The
provision of hot running water, electricity and internal washrooms helped ease some of the labour of housework, beginning to liberate the housewife.
It was however still expected that she would prepare and serve all foods. Therefor the housewife found herself in a funny situation of being both
privileged with modern conveniences but still bound to being unseen doing her task in a small space as if a

North West And West Side Of Toronto
The 45 Kipling route covers the lower and upper west side of Toronto. The route is very close to the edge of Toronto that borders Mississauga and
Brampton. The route starts at Kipling station located at Saint Albans Road and Kipling Avenue. The end of the 45 Kipling route is located at Steeles
Avenue West andKipling Avenue. The 45 Kipling route passes through many neighborhoods as well as different areas that serve different uses. The
first and most noticeable of which is the suburban residential area the route begins at. In this area, there is a number of different types of housing
including older single–detached dwellings, duplexes, triplexes, townhouses, and modern single–detached homes. The area also consists of churches and
schools, but mostly consists of housing. The majority of the area is suburban and hardly resembles a typical residential neighbourhood within the city of
Toronto. It seems to have more in common with a suburb such as Vaughan. It is not until the route reaches Kipling Avenue and Dixon Road where it
starts to feel more like Toronto, with high rise buildings and retail stores rather than a residential suburb.
Riding public transit along the Kipling 45 bus route and making observations made for an interesting group assignment. It became apparent that the
route took riders through multiple different areas. When beginning the route the first distinct area that the bus passed through was a suburban
residential area. This suburban area has beautiful curb

Looking at my comparable evidence is are a range of rents within the office buildings market in Leeds; the cheapest being ВЈ80,000 in Albion Street
and the most expensive being ВЈ577,165 in Alredale House, also on Albion Street.
The more recent the transaction, the better indication I have to value the rent. The most recent transaction of an office building similar to Aquis House
was on 01/03/2014. Devonshire House on Toronto Street is 0.1 miles away from Aquis House. Extensive refurbishment took place in 2009 to create an
imposing modern building. Both buildings are situated in the prime city Centre location. The asking rent for Devonshire House is ВЈ20.00 per sq ft.
The next useful comparable to help value Aquis House is Park Row House which again is of very close proximity being at 0.02 miles away and a

rent. The asking rent for 73–75 Albion Street is ВЈ16 per sq ft.

Gun Control In The Second Amendment
Gun control has, over the years, become a hot topic for debate. For both sides, there are many reasons to be for or against the banning of certain guns.
Even throughout our country's political history, presidents and politicians have tried to ban or even merely control the amount or type of guns
available to the public. Two articles, Treasure the Second Amendment, But Ban Assault Rifles by Judith Miller and A Ban on Assault Rifles Would Not
Reduce Crime by NoС‘l Merino, address both sides of this emotionally charged issue. Both arguments hold a strong grasp on the issue and show their
opinions in a respectful yet moving manner that gives a good foundation to leave their audiences room to have their own thought on the subject. While
both hold their own in their respective articles, Merino gives a more factual and detached argument that shows well–rounded thought and an ability to
see reprimands and consequences for the ban on assault rifles. On the other hand, Miller gives insight into the emotional impact that the ownership of
assault rifles as a common household item gives to the fear ridden citizen. While neither article will be an end all be all for this issue, they both shed a
light on how the opposing sides view guns and the potential outcomes of either the destruction of the assault rifle industry or allowing the industry to its
own will. Whether or not the people read these articles, gun control will be a hot–button issue for years to come as the argument for and

In order for a nurse to adapt and provide suitable care to their clients, they must understand the characteristics of the area in which their clients are

gives them a clearer idea of the kind of care that they should expect to be giving local people and the health concerns that they may be dealing with. In
this essay a small town in the Perth and Kinross area of Scotland will be analysed along with different factors that may have an impact on the health
and wellbeing of its residents. (114)

There are also a few restaurants for tourists and residents of the town to enjoy. As the nearest city is 18 miles west, it is an advantage for the people
that live in Crieff to also have access to a small local hospital as well as a medical centre. Local services such as a fire station and a police station are
also available in the town. (212)
Key information about Crieff
The average age of the inhabitants of Crieff is 40 for males and 44 for females. This is only every so slightly higher than the Scottish average,
which is 37 for males and 39 for females. Although the majority of the population of the town are considered to be mature adults, according to the
average age, 20.17% of the residents of the town are under the age of 16, with 5.09% of that being children under the age of 4. With many varying
ages and types of accommodation, it is easy to make the assumption that Crieff is a quiet, suitable and affordable town for the elderly, working couples
and families.
The general health of Crieff appears to be relatively good, sitting at just over 70% – slightly higher than the country's average (almost 68%.) As for the
poorer health, 8.22% of the population of Crieff are considered to be below average health. This differs slightly from the Scottish average, as it is
almost 2% lower than the rest of the country which is a notable piece of information as there is a higher percentage of pensioners

The Housing Type Built On Lands Development
Toronto is largely a residential community. Of 641.45 KM2 of land, 50% (321.43KM2) is zoned for residential uses. On these lands development is
restricted to those permitted under the appropriate section of Chapter 10 or 15 of City of Toronto Zoning By–law 569–2013, or active former by–laws
of municipalities amalgamated into Toronto. These former municipalities are currently referred to as the communities of Toronto (former), North York,
York, East York, Scarborough, and Etobicoke.
The (R) zoning category is the most permissive, whereas (RD) and (RA) are the least permissive. This zoning structure makes it difficult to predict the

Demographic Changes, 1961–2016
The capacity difference between housing types is magnified by our changing demographics.
Decline in Children per Women
The declined fertility rate has greatly reduced family sizes across the City. Between 1951 and 1961 Canada's fertility rate peaked at just under 4
children per woman. Between 1961 and 1971 the fertility rate plummeted, resulting in the fertility rate halving to just under 2 children per woman
between 1971 and 76. Since then, the fertility rate has remained low, and for the last 30 years it has remained between 1.75 and 1.5 children per
woman (Statistics Canada, 2017). This has contributed to the decline in the number of people per private dwelling, and growing issue of over housing
where many houses have unfilled rooms because there are too few residents within them (Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis, 2017). This is
troubling because despite over housing in certain areas, most residents struggle to find affordable housing and are forced outside the City or into
housing with too few bedrooms.
Residential Zoning and Number of People Per Dwelling
In this calculation, the communities of York and Toronto are not included, because it is more difficult to predict residential land

Short Story : Roly-Poly
Roly–Poly
Experiencing dramatic events is a part of life. These events could drastically change your life, as you know it. My life was abruptly changed on
one chilly November evening. Little did I know that after that night I would learn some many new things about myself. I would go on to learn that
I was a strong and courageous man that had hope for a bright future. The sun had just begun to set behind the tall pine trees, as I began my drive
home. I rolled my windows down to feel the crisp, chilly November air. The cool air made the hairs on my arms stand up like the quills on a
porcupine's back. I leaned back into my seat to enjoy the ride. The sun quickly disappeared and was soon replaced by the moon. The black asphalt of
the road began to glisten like a calm stream under the moonlight. My truck seemed to glide across it like a boat on a river. I turned up the radio to
distract the thoughts about work that were racing through my head. I was ready to make it home to see my family. I began to climb a steep hill as I
saw what looked like two glowing eyes coming over the top of the mountain. As the eyes drew closer, I realized that it was a semi truck. The truck
began to cross the yellow line and head straight towards me. My mind began to race and think of options of what to do. However, time was not on my
side. I began to spin and roll down the steep hill. It felt as though I was a towel being flung around inside of a washing machine. "I am going to die",

What Is My Dream House Essay
Places we spend our life is veru significant because our moods are affected by the design and location. Simplicity is beauty. That's what people
usually say about many things. But, for me simplicity is not enough when it comes about my dream house. My dream house would still be simple but
in another manner. It wouldn't be simple that it has simple designs, yet it would be still appealing in my eyes. House is the place to stay together with
part of our family. A good house is the house that makes the dweller feel so comfortable. It is the place where we can shelter and it gives us

Personal Narrative Essay On Race Track
Horses are full of energy as I was unloading our pacer from the trailer he leapt and hit with his front hooves with a thump and just about knocked
me down once we was out and around the truck! We arrived early as we usually do and we was starving our stomachs were growling. So dad and I
took a walk through the fair as all the rides were starting up, and kids were running around having fun with their friends. I was beyond glad that it
was a cool rainy day or else we would have been miserable in the heat. We borrowed a friendstruck to go into town. We had discovered that the right
front tire was low on air, so we had went around Troy driving to find somewhere to pump up the tire. Dad was so aggravated and concentrated on
finding somewhere to pump the tire up he forgot what we really even borrowed the truck for! We went back to therace track and it turns out that they
had a air pump at their barn that we did not know about. We sat and joked around and caught up with all the drama... Show more content on

Descriptive Essay About Quadna
Ring a ding ding dong goes the alarm clock and I'd be up. Springing from my brown bed, and I'd be off to the shower. I would then leap from the
shower and begin brushing my teeth as I would also be trying to dry myself off. Rushing as fast as I could. I would grab my giant red bag filled
with riding gear and check through it frantically one last time to be sure I had everything. Then my Pa and I would be off to the greatest place on
earth; the racetrack. More specifically the practice track, that was raced on about two times a year. The track was formally known as Quadna
Mountain Park. I referred to the track as Quadna like many other riders. Quadna played an important piece in the puzzle of my racing career. Along
with my families support and my own drive and desire, Quadna was one of the most important pieces. When you first turn onto the road to Quadna the
first thing noticed is the giant oval sign with the letters QMP in blue with mountains set behind the letters in the background. As we passed the
sign on the left side of the road, we would always look to our right at the aged and faded gray hotel that some of the racers would stay in to see
which racers were there at the time. After we would go past the hotel we would take a right onto a dirt road that went into what seemed like thick
woods. When the trees were full of snow it looked like a winter wonderland. But about a half a mile down the road it makes a sweeping left handed
turn and opens up into a field where the

The Decrease Of Forest Cover And Forest Resources
Introduction
Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries of the world with a population more than 150 million. The rate of population increase is
decreasing in Bangladesh but still it is high enough to create immense pressure on different sectors like agriculture, forestry, economy etc. To fulfill the
demand of increasing population more agricultural lands, buildup areas, settlements, roads and highways are necessary. These development activities
will definitely corroborate the decrease of forest cover and forest resources in Bangladesh. It is evident that global climate is changing and Bangladesh
is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world due to climate change. In the near future temperature will increase, sea level will rise, and
incessant rainfall events will increase in a whole there will be an accentuation of extreme events. These extreme events will affect the forest resources
and biodiversity of Bangladesh. For example only 0.5 meter sea level rise will inundate the whole Sundarbans. So for ensuring habitat and sustainable
environment for the present and future generations of the country amelioration of forest and forest recourses, conservation and identification of
biodiversity and increase of forest cover up to idea limit are necessary. Forest Resources in Bangladesh
Bangladesh lies in the north–eastern part of the South Asia between 20В°34'and 26В°38' North latitude and 88В°01' and 92В°41' East longitude. The

Reducing Domestic Water use in Residential Gardens|
Issue and Stakeholder Briefing|

|
To the desk of Hon. Bill Marmion. Minister for Water and Environment
This policy brief brings to light the issue of household water consumption in Perth, particularly the need to examine the potential for large scale water
savings in the domestic sphere. Domestic water use is nearly double that of Melbourne and Brisbane, whilst local water supplies are critically low. This
brief summarises the history of water usage in Perth, it accounts culturally for the reasons that we use so much on our gardens. There is a section that
outline the dimensions of issue, who is using how much? The benefit that multi–story housing has on water ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The difference in water usage by income is represented in figure 2.
This point is reinforced by figure 3 which illustrates the increasing percentage of lawn and garden ownership relative to the level of income, with the
highest income brackets all having high percentages of ownership. A point of concern is that whilst the relationship between private green space
ownership and income exists, there is still a very large portion of the total population consuming water just for gardening purposes.
Figure 4: Reticulation water usage
The final issue of ex–house water usage is the usage of reticulation, and the false perception that its more efficient than hand watering. As shown in
figure 4 water usage for automatic reticulation is nearly double that of non–automatic.
The State Government: the state government is the chief authority on the issue of domestic water use, and holds the most influence and power in the
issue. The state government is currently a liberal party lead by Collin Barnett. This Stakeholder is the figure head for numerous government agencies,
namely the Department of Environment and conservation, the Department of Water and Water Corporation. Whilst the state government maintains a
relationship with the commonwealth government on the issue, there tends to

the options of where they might live and make a recommendation.
Situation:
From an Estate Agent's view, what is the best advice to give a banker's family moving toLondon for a limited time only?
Introduction

As a German family moves to London for work with a bank in The City, they ask for advice on how and where to live in London.
From an
estate agent's view, this report looks into the London housing market, presents advantages and disadvantages to investment options and recommends a
property for the family.
I.The Family

The father is Frank Schmidt, 38 years old and working as a banker. He earns an annual income of GBP 280,000.00 and works 38 hours per week plus
overtime.
His wife, Corinna Schmidt, 36 years old, is the mother of the two children and self–employed as a sales agent. She works approximately
15 hours per week and earns about GBP 20,000.00 per year.
Their children are Lea Schmidt, 6 years old and Lucas Schmidt, 4 years old, both in
preschool.
i.Requirements The family moves to London because the father was offered a job with a bank in The City. Therefore, public transportation should be
nearby and a good traffic connection from their home to The City is required.
Also, a school and preschool are needed close to their abode because
they will stay in London for at least two years.

The Cost Of Real Estate Essay
For the past several years, the housing market has been mutually beneficial for both buyer and seller. The cost of real estate has risen but has
maintained or gained value. People who have owned their home for quite awhile are seeing astronomical amounts of money to be made off the sale
of their home, and so the market has been inundated with housing for sale. It leads us to wonder whether this boom is heading for the crash. Is now
still a good time to buy? If so, what type of property will continue to gain value? Will new buyers end up stuck in their home as the value drops? As a
homeowner, I am nervous about the state of the real estate market. This is not the house my family wants to call its home forever, but could we get
stuck here? Yes, we could. If the housing market drops, then so will the amount of money we could potentially make off the sale of this house. If
it drops enough then it would be possible to end up owing money upon the sale. Unless you are independently wealthy, you hope to make money
off the sale of the home to help finance the purchase of the next home. Real estate agents will tell you that now is still a good time to buy. While it
is speculated that the market will drop within the next year or two, if you are willing to sit on your new purchase for several years, an upswing will
occur again. There is never any guarantee that you will recoup the money paid for and put into a home. If you intend to purchase a home soon, it
would be a good idea to

All About Fha 203K Loans. The Federal Housing Administration,
All about FHA 203K LOANS
The Federal Housing Administration, otherwise known as the FHA, is a government agency created to help alleviate the case of homelessness in the
country. The agency is under the authority of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), set up in 1934 after the Great Depression.
The primary purpose of establishing the FHA is to oversee different insurance programs for single family mortgages, insuring mortgage loans provided
by HUD–approved lending institutions. In order to get FHA loans, buyers are required to have a satisfactory credit rating and make a down payment.

provided and meticulously inspected, in addition to securing the dwelling properly to the foundation.
Borrower Eligibility for the FHA 203K Loan
The requirements for taking the 203k loan are not any different from other loan programs offered by the Federal Housing Authority. The requirements
are practically the same and all you need is to meet the standard FHA credit qualifications which include the down payment requirements and mortgage
insurance payment – upfront and annual, which depend on the value of the loan. Some of the standard FHA underwriting guidelines that apply include
income, credit scores, employment verification and debt.
The major difference that can be spotted in the standard FHA underwriting process compared to the FHA 203K underwriting process is that with the
former, there is the usual inspection that checks livability and an appraisal to assess the market value of the property. With the FHA 203K
underwriting process however, it does not make too much sense to find the fair market value of a property that needs repairs.

What Is Section 36. 030 Of The Town Zoning Regulations State?
Section 17.36.030 of the Town zoning regulations state:
The Town's goals within the C–1 district is to retain historical characteristics of the downtown business area by preserving existing structures
constructed prior to the year 1930. Remodeling and construction is encouraged to reflect the goals of the zone district; to enhance the town's attraction
to residents, tourists, and visitors; to serve as a support and stimulus to business and industry; to reflect a pedestrian orientation; and to enhance property

Most commonly, zoning regulations stipulate that only permitted uses are allowed and that only "specific" conditional or special review uses will be

Garage Door Openers
If you recently purchased a new house, or if are thinking about installing a new garage door, you need to think about which type of garage door
opener you want to purchase and install as well. The two primary types of garage door openers are overhead and wall mounted garage door openers.
Here is a quick guide how both of these types of garage door mechanism work and the important differences and similarities between them.
Wall–Mounted Garage Door Openers Wall–mounted garage door openers are usually used in garages that either have low ceilings or have very
irregular shaped ceilings that would not support a system that was attached to the ceiling. These types of systems are attached to the side of the wall
in your garage. Belts as well as a tension road are attached to the walls near the garage door. These belts are... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You can even find systems that use rubber belts to open and close your garage door. The key here is that the mechanisms are attached to the ceiling
of your garage and not to the wall. The Big Differences There are a few major differences between these two systems. To start with, a wall–mounted
garage door system takes up valuable space on the side of your garage. You will not be able to use the sides of your garage near the door for storage or
other purposes because the garage door opening mechanisms will need to be attached there. Additionally, wall–mounted systems generally cannot
support extremely heavy or large garage doors due to how they are set up. They are designed to support lighter loads. On the other hand, wall–mounted
opening systems can be seen as a little more thief proof than overhead garage door openers. If your garage door has windows on it, a thief can easily
see your opener and manipulate it using the manual cord that is generally attached to these systems as a

Essay On Toronto
The story of Toronto in recent decades is often framed by the rapid economy growth. And Toronto has been named to many best of lists for living
quality, safety, and creativity. But this economic boom and wealth have not been evenly distributed across all regions of the city. While Toronto is
normally considered as a safer city, significant crime does seriously occur in many neighborhoods. I visited the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood

This neighborhood has seen a severe declination and deterioration in living quality which results in the loss of the middle class. Many scholars have
suggested that factors such as the change in the modern thinking of living, population flow, and government policies can lead to this declination and
deterioration of the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood. The flight of middle class has left this neighborhood with social disadvantage and
marginalized population such as recent immigrants, single–parent families, and racialized people who were unable to receive affordable
accommodations elsewhere. In fact, people fail to improve their living quality due to the social segregation of poverty. In addition, it draws evidence on
the issue of urban inequality in public housing, poverty concentration, and gentrification. Theoretically, the perception of urban inequality is not only
about the low economic status, working–class displacement and ethnic heterogeneity, but rather the quality of street spectacles, housing, and residential
stability that lead to the current condition of higher crime rate. Toronto has become increasingly polarized. Referring to Hulchanski's analysis on the
Toronto's three cities, the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood locates in the City#3 zone. Hulchanski has indicated the current demographic and
social trend that Toronto is dividing into three cities internally due to the Social–Spatial Polarization and the shrinking of the middle

The Beauty Of Women
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; however, does the appearance of women affect their success in the workplace or socially? In today's society,
there has been an increase of women who want to attain the Instagram body. The women who choose to have surgery feel that achieving the perfect
Instagram body will benefit them in the long run by allowing them (in most cases) to become a model or receive other jobs related to their bodies.
Getting a job is only one benefit of a better appearance. Permanently or temporarily changing their appearance, to fit a certain beauty standard, allows
women to positively benefit socially or in the workplace.
There is this idea that beauty sells, however, people have found a loophole in this theory. In a study conducted in 2006, evidence suggested that "The
unbecoming... profit from their lack of looks [because] people... expect less from the unattractive, so when they surpass those low expectations they
are rewarded" (Tucker). Society holds attractive people to a higher standard. People expect them to have superior qualities and outperform less
attractive people. However, when attractive people fail to meet the standards society has set for them, they are labeled as a disappointment. Because
standards for attractive people are set lower, it allows them to achieve success easier, eventually resulting in higher pay or promotions. Although
appearance for certain people may not affect them in the workplace, that is not deemed true for everyone. For

land and space is high, leading to high land values. Jersey Street has the smallest houses of the three streets, with little or no garden space, this is due to
the competition for space in the inner city. On the land–use models we are studying, Jersey Street is situated on the boundary of the industrial area and

Compare And Contrast: Cobblestone Vs Walmart
Iowa is viewed by many as lacking diversity in many areas, such as culture, careers, and even income. However, when one takes the time to look
closer, there are many socioeconomic differences, even within the span of a few miles. To highlight this, I have selected Cobblestone Estates in
DeWitt, as well as Broadway Street in Charlotte. These two neighborhoods are within a fifteen–minute drive, yet they are vastly different in many
ways. Cobblestone Estates is a brand new suburb in DeWitt. Broadway Street, on the other hand, is an old neighborhood that's been in existence since
the town's founding in the mid 1800s.By studying the locations, home values, and physical appearance of these neighborhoods, we are able to draw
conclusions about their socioeconomic statuses.

definitely causes for Charlotte's shrinking population. It's been on a downward trend since 2007. Another reason for the trend downward is the lack of
local jobs. The community is no longer thriving. Broadway Street in particular has been hit hard. The street was once the main road of Charlotte, but a

dust on the vehicles but it appeared whoever was taking the items had gloves on. Along with the batteries taken from the vehicles, four other
batteries were taken that were sitting on the side of the house. They were in a green cart that was moved down to the end of the driveway to the
west. Total loss of $200 USD for loose batteries. It was also found that two semi truck trailers had been broken into, both had the locks cut and the
doors were still open. I collected both of the locks and placed them into evidence Locker #4. Inside of the first trailer I did located a shoe print that
was on the edge of a ladder. I took photos of the print and it was uploaded to the S:Drive folder. As we were walking around Ernestine noticed the
back sliding glass door was open, she said it was closed when she left on Wednesday, We made our way to the house and entered the back sliding
glass door. When I entered the house it was stacked floor to ceiling with trash, clothing and other items that I could not make out. Ernestine said
animals sometime get inside and make a mess. I really did not have a walk way to get through the house so I was walking about 3 foot off the floor.
The items were stacked so high I was almost able to touch the ceiling with my head. Both her and Henry looked

Urban Land Use And Transportation Planning
Question 1. This approach has several advantages. First, it provides much more spatially–detailed information than traditional data at the aggregate
level of planning districts. Hence, using this disaggregate information, we can suggest policy implications to establish specific land use and
transportation planning. UrbanSim, one of the advanced microsimulation model developed by University of Washington, uses gridcells of 150*150
meter, which presents spatially detailed structure and enables researchers to evaluate current urban land use patterns as well as predict future urban
land use change at the micro level. However, a building scale analysis provides much more benefits because it is a more realistic model and can be
easily combined with current urban big data. For example, if this agent–based model is combined with complex human behaviors data, it can provide
much more specific information for predicting events of an emergency such as a building fire and disasters from earthquake or tsunami. Also, if this
model is combined with information on spatial human activities from mobile–phone, it can provide great benefits for managing spatial and temporal
planning for the urban places. More specifically, we can identify hot spots during daytime and nighttime, which can help to predict travel demands as
well land use demand. Second, with the building scale dataset, we can deal with a variety of urban problems and issues. For example, energy is one
of the big issues in our

Not Doctor Street Analysis
Lyell Champagne Mrs. Schaefer American Literature 23 February, 2017 The Eeriness of Not Doctor Street Cloudy skies, harsh wind, stomach
sinking smells, steamy sewer vapor coming from the belly of what is named "Not Doctor Street". The neighbors that live here as a part of their
everyday lives reside in this eerie neighborhood. The name "Not Doctor Street" is just as haunting as the names of the family that live there, known
as the Dead family. The name that haunts the street as if it were an uncovered trail of miserable darkness that flooded the skies around the place. This
street suffocates the residents that live there as if you were in the eye of a tornado being lifted in a high atmosphere. The grimly vibe of this
neighborhood affects the family of the Dead's. A character named Ruth Dead, has this street haunting her for her dauntly impression of her deceased
father. Walking down this street is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

having an affair with his cousin. Milkman made a best friend who goes by Guitar Bains and they have been friends since they were kids.
Throughout the long drawn depressing years Milkman struggles as a black man trying to fit in society. This is the same street that houses the most
awkward family in the neighborhood, the Dead family. It is so depressing because of Macon Dead Jr, a ruthless landlord who collects rent money
from a building there, and won't stop at any cost until he is paid. Milkman grows up seeing his father treat his mother with the utmost disrespect and
does not show any attention towards her. The events that play a big role in Milkman's life shape him into the man he has become. He has also
experienced being a person who has a limp to their walk for having a shorter leg than the other, but making it into a style that people remember him

The Three Cities Within Toronto By David Hulchanski

  • 1. The Three Cities Within Toronto By David Hulchanski Introduction Throughout David Hulchanski's article, titled "The Three Cities Within Toronto," he divides Toronto into three cities by classifying neighbourhoods according to individual income. He describes the city as dynamic, as neighbourhoods have changed through the years between the different classes. A major factor that causes this change is gentrification, where low–income neighbourhoods are renovated, which results in replacing the low–income residents with wealthier individuals. In contrast, the population of low income neighbourhoods has also increased as the population of middle–income neighbourhoods have decreased. As a result of these changes, Toronto is increasing the number of high–income neighbourhoods and low–income neighbourhoods, phasing out the middle class. Hulchanski accurately describes polarization through the process of gentrification and by creating more cost friendly neighbourhoods for families throughout Toronto. Neighbourhood Scale The field work site is located on Weston Rd., by Highway 401, in between Wilson Ave. and Sheppard Ave. W. This site contains many houses, local places of worship, and convenience stores. Most of the homes are owned by families rather than individuals because of the elementary school and the lack of condominiums. According to Hulchanski, common ... As a result, this neighbourhood has undergone gentrification and attracted individuals of higher income. • 2. Residential Building Sector The residential building sector is one of the major energy consumers in North America. It accounts for 17% of energy used in Canada, resulting in 70 megatons (Mt) of annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) 2008). According to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan 2010a), 65% of residential energy consumption is attributed to space heating by means of the primary fuel types, natural gas and electricity (Statistics Canada 2007). Due to the importance of reducing energy consumption from limited energy sources and minimizing environmental impacts, a number of energy–efficiency measures have emerged for Canadian residential buildings in recent years. Provincial and national building energy codes have been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In this regard, Hamelin and Zmeureanu (2014) conducted a lifecycle cost analysis (LCCA) in a single–family home in QuГ©bec; they presented the optimum thermal resistance value of building envelope that achieved the minimum lifecycle cost. The insulation level of recommended design in their study was much higher than code requirements. This is due to the fact that the lifespan of an actual house is quite long, which provides a substantial energy savings from better insulation and would have offset the additional initial cost in this case. Given that cost is an important consideration in construction, this thesis aims to identify energy–efficient code–compliant solutions for cold climates from a cost efficiency point of view. 1.1 Energy Consumption in Canadian Residential Sector According to NRCan (2010c), there are four types of dwellings in Canada: single detached home (56%), apartment (31%), single attached home (11%), and mobile home (2%). Figure 1–1 illustrates that residential buildings are the third largest energy users in Canada after the industrial and transportation sectors, and that the residential sector is also responsible for 17% of the total consumed energy (NRCan 2008b). I went over to where he was by his truck and trailer to find that he was detaching chains from an old Farmall M that had been oxidized entirely and the motor and transmission had been seized entirely. "It was a cotton picker down in Texas" he said, "she's definitely seen better days but we'll make it look brand new". Bang, thump, ssss was all you could hear as we loosened the binders that held the pile of rust to the trailer and took the shackles back to the tool box. When we got done with the motor, then the transmission, and finally the rear end housing, it was time to ensure labor on the exterior of the tractor. I slept for about another hour until my friend Tyler knock on my door. "Joel! Joel are you in there? Wake up man I'm about to go ride my bike for a little while down the road. You better hurry if you want to come!" So I rolled out of bed and dropped on the carpet floor like a sack of potatoes. I got up out of the floor and went to the bathroom to get ready to leave. I had to somewhat tame my shaggy dark brown hair and brush my teeth quickly so that I could meet Tyler outside. "Took you long enough." Tyler said to me. "Well you can't rush perfection." I joked back to him. "Shut up, only thing perfect about you is your perfectly round head." he quickly retorted. We were never being mean to each other when we said these things because we both knew that we were kidding around and we never took anything seriously. Tyler was my best friend. He was only a little bit younger than me and he had blonde hair and the same brown eye color as me. We had known each other since we were in preschool. I went over to his house every day to play video games. I also remember that he wore the same exact Lakers jacket every day. • 6. Being Covered from the Truth in Araby by James Joyce Essay Being Covered from the Truth in Araby by James Joyce "Araby" by James Joyce, is a short story about a young boy trying to find and his search for inner happiness. The main setting takes place in the boy's neighborhood where he lives with his aunt and uncle. The sub setting takes place in an Araby or English bazaar, a carnival if you will. In the neighborhood we find that there is; an uninhabited house that has not been occupied for some time, a girl, who's referred to as 'Mangan's sister', whom the boy has a lustful crush on, and a story of a deceased priest. In the Araby we find a lot of empty booths, along with some hollow characters. The neighborhood, the Araby, the boy, and other characters in the story have an overall theme... He, being a boy, did not understand what love was, yet pursued it trying to gain inner happiness. "Each morning" he would lie "on the floor in the front parlour watching her door. The blind was pulled down to within an inch of the sash so that I could not be seen. When she came out on the doorstep my heart leaped" (para. 4). He lusts after her thinking that is was pure love. Later in a conversation between the two they talked about going to the Araby and the boy told her that if he went he would bring her something. Thinking that he could buy the love of the young flower, he did not understand that the pure love, to which he clamed to have, could not be bought. • 8. Descriptive Essay About South Boston 10. South Boston Known as one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, South Boston is placed on a peninsula that extends into the Boston Harbor. It is linked to the rest of the city through a narrow strip of land. Over the years, this strip of land has been gradually widened through landfill. For over a century, South Boston has been one of the most populated neighborhoods in the city. In the mid–1800s, it was the third most populous section of Boston. Over the year, new residential subdivisions have developed in the neighborhood. Each new subdivision has a unique character and architectural style. Telegraph Hill and Dorchester Heights were both created in the middle of the 19th century to house the city's growing population base. Originally annexed by Boston in 1804, this neighborhood really started to thrive in the mid–19th century when the Old Colony Railroad made reaching downtown Boston easy. Before long, it was a center of industry with shipyards, iron foundries and machine shops popping up everywhere. Today, industrial buildings can still be found on the northern side of the peninsula. Modern South Boston has many long–time residents as well as young professionals. With its easy access to downtown, this area is popular among commuters. • 9. Semi-Detached Housing Changes In Britain there has historically always been a belief that the ideal living situation is a married heterosexual couple with children. In this lifestyle model the male of the house is the wage earner and the woman holds responsibility for domestic chores and rising children. This model is particular apparent in the working classes during the early 20th century. In the years following the Second World War housing was designed and master planned in a way that embodied these ideologies. These generalisations structured ideas about the location of new post war housing laying the way for married women to be exploited in the low pay labour market. However rapid social change following the war resulted in greater number of women being drawn into the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These houses were amalgamation of retained social expectations of housework but also more progressive architectural ideas. The period saw great change thanks in part to the influence of the Garden City Movements and Raymond Unwin. Unwin semis featured additional living space on the ground floor, running hot water, internalised kitchen and bathing facilities. The extra living space on the ground floor provided an area for families to engage with everyday life and again a parlour in the front of the house to entertain with. The changed position of the kitchen to inside the house really demonstrates the change of gender perspective during this time, it lessened the separation of house tasks by bringing them closer to the family. The provision of hot running water, electricity and internal washrooms helped ease some of the labour of housework, beginning to liberate the housewife. It was however still expected that she would prepare and serve all foods. Therefor the housewife found herself in a funny situation of being both privileged with modern conveniences but still bound to being unseen doing her task in a small space as if a ... The area also consists of churches and schools, but mostly consists of housing. The majority of the area is suburban and hardly resembles a typical residential neighbourhood within the city of Toronto. It seems to have more in common with a suburb such as Vaughan. It is not until the route reaches Kipling Avenue and Dixon Road where it starts to feel more like Toronto, with high rise buildings and retail stores rather than a residential suburb. Two articles, Treasure the Second Amendment, But Ban Assault Rifles by Judith Miller and A Ban on Assault Rifles Would Not Reduce Crime by NoС‘l Merino, address both sides of this emotionally charged issue. Both arguments hold a strong grasp on the issue and show their opinions in a respectful yet moving manner that gives a good foundation to leave their audiences room to have their own thought on the subject. While both hold their own in their respective articles, Merino gives a more factual and detached argument that shows well–rounded thought and an ability to see reprimands and consequences for the ban on assault rifles. On the other hand, Miller gives insight into the emotional impact that the ownership of assault rifles as a common household item gives to the fear ridden citizen. While neither article will be an end all be all for this issue, they both shed a light on how the opposing sides view guns and the potential outcomes of either the destruction of the assault rifle industry or allowing the industry to its own will. Anthropology Personal Narrative It all began on July 5, 2015, when my family and I traveled back from Fort Davis, Texas, to our home in Gardendale, Texas, after visiting our family for a Fourth of July celebration. As we entered into Odessa, we noticed vehicles stranded on the interstate that impeded our progress. Irritably, we were forced to stop in the middle of the road. Instantly, the music paused. In frustration, I started switching the stations; nevertheless, all remained silent. After several minutes of scanning dead air, finally the radio connected to the station, 93.3 FM. An emergency broadcast announcer alerted the entire Permian Basin area that a group of oil drillers, near the Meteorite Crater, struck a barrel, buried twenty–two feet under the ground.... The Federal Housing Administration, All about FHA 203K LOANS The Federal Housing Administration, otherwise known as the FHA, is a government agency created to help alleviate the case of homelessness in the country. The agency is under the authority of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), set up in 1934 after the Great Depression. The primary purpose of establishing the FHA is to oversee different insurance programs for single family mortgages, insuring mortgage loans provided by HUD–approved lending institutions. Borrower Eligibility for the FHA 203K Loan The requirements for taking the 203k loan are not any different from other loan programs offered by the Federal Housing Authority. The requirements are practically the same and all you need is to meet the standard FHA credit qualifications which include the down payment requirements and mortgage insurance payment – upfront and annual, which depend on the value of the loan. Some of the standard FHA underwriting guidelines that apply include income, credit scores, employment verification and debt. The major difference that can be spotted in the standard FHA underwriting process compared to the FHA 203K underwriting process is that with the former, there is the usual inspection that checks livability and an appraisal to assess the market value of the property. With the FHA 203K underwriting process however, it does not make too much sense to find the fair market value of a property that needs repairs. With the 203k loan, there is an

Next, the village worked with the Glenview Community Reuse Planning Group and in conjunction with the United States Navy to plan and develop economic alternatives for the Naval base (Master Plan and Design Guidelines, 2008). Over the next decade, The Village worked towards the development The Glen Town Center, in efforts of attaining their goal of creating "a lasting source of pride for the community by building quality public amenities, infrastructure, housing plus recreational and job opportunities" (Master Plan and Design Guidelines, 2008). In its construction, The Glen utilizes several principals of the smart growth model, or the sustainable development of healthy communities. The Glen successfully strengthens development toward an existing community, creates a range of housing opportunities and choices, creates walkable neighborhoods, provides a variety of transportation choices, takes advantages of compact building design, and preserves open space, farmland, natural beauty and critical environmental areas (Friedland, Relyea, Courard–Hauri, 2012). Garage Door Openers If you recently purchased a new house, or if are thinking about installing a new garage door, you need to think about which type of garage door opener you want to purchase and install as well. The two primary types of garage door openers are overhead and wall mounted garage door openers. Here is a quick guide how both of these types of garage door mechanism work and the important differences and similarities between them. Wall–Mounted Garage Door Openers Wall–mounted garage door openers are usually used in garages that either have low ceilings or have very irregular shaped ceilings that would not support a system that was attached to the ceiling. These types of systems are attached to the side of the wall in your garage. Belts as well as a tension road are attached to the walls near the garage door. These belts are... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You can even find systems that use rubber belts to open and close your garage door. The key here is that the mechanisms are attached to the ceiling of your garage and not to the wall. The Big Differences There are a few major differences between these two systems. To start with, a wall–mounted garage door system takes up valuable space on the side of your garage. You will not be able to use the sides of your garage near the door for storage or other purposes because the garage door opening mechanisms will need to be attached there. Additionally, wall–mounted systems generally cannot support extremely heavy or large garage doors due to how they are set up. They are designed to support lighter loads. On the other hand, wall–mounted opening systems can be seen as a little more thief proof than overhead garage door openers. If your garage door has windows on it, a thief can easily see your opener and manipulate it using the manual cord that is generally attached to these systems as a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

And Toronto has been named to many best of lists for living quality, safety, and creativity. But this economic boom and wealth have not been evenly distributed across all regions of the city. While Toronto is normally considered as a safer city, significant crime does seriously occur in many neighborhoods. This neighborhood has seen a severe declination and deterioration in living quality which results in the loss of the middle class. Many scholars have suggested that factors such as the change in the modern thinking of living, population flow, and government policies can lead to this declination and deterioration of the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood. The flight of middle class has left this neighborhood with social disadvantage and marginalized population such as recent immigrants, single–parent families, and racialized people who were unable to receive affordable accommodations elsewhere. In fact, people fail to improve their living quality due to the social segregation of poverty. In addition, it draws evidence on the issue of urban inequality in public housing, poverty concentration, and gentrification. Theoretically, the perception of urban inequality is not only about the low economic status, working–class displacement and ethnic heterogeneity, but rather the quality of street spectacles, housing, and residential stability that lead to the current condition of higher crime rate. Toronto has become increasingly polarized. Referring to Hulchanski's analysis on the Toronto's three cities, the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood locates in the City#3 zone. • 37. The Beauty Of Women Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; however, does the appearance of women affect their success in the workplace or socially? In today's society, there has been an increase of women who want to attain the Instagram body. The women who choose to have surgery feel that achieving the perfect Instagram body will benefit them in the long run by allowing them (in most cases) to become a model or receive other jobs related to their bodies. Getting a job is only one benefit of a better appearance. Permanently or temporarily changing their appearance, to fit a certain beauty standard, allows women to positively benefit socially or in the workplace. There is this idea that beauty sells, however, people have found a loophole in this theory. In a study conducted in 2006, evidence suggested that "The unbecoming... profit from their lack of looks [because] people... expect less from the unattractive, so when they surpass those low expectations they are rewarded" (Tucker). Society holds attractive people to a higher standard. People expect them to have superior qualities and outperform less attractive people. However, when attractive people fail to meet the standards society has set for them, they are labeled as a disappointment. Because standards for attractive people are set lower, it allows them to achieve success easier, eventually resulting in higher pay or promotions. These two neighborhoods are within a fifteen–minute drive, yet they are vastly different in many ways. Cobblestone Estates is a brand new suburb in DeWitt. Broadway Street, on the other hand, is an old neighborhood that's been in existence since the town's founding in the mid 1800s.By studying the locations, home values, and physical appearance of these neighborhoods, we are able to draw conclusions about their socioeconomic statuses. • 41. Urban Land Use And Transportation Planning Question 1. This approach has several advantages. First, it provides much more spatially–detailed information than traditional data at the aggregate level of planning districts. Hence, using this disaggregate information, we can suggest policy implications to establish specific land use and transportation planning. UrbanSim, one of the advanced microsimulation model developed by University of Washington, uses gridcells of 150*150 meter, which presents spatially detailed structure and enables researchers to evaluate current urban land use patterns as well as predict future urban land use change at the micro level. However, a building scale analysis provides much more benefits because it is a more realistic model and can be easily combined with current urban big data. For example, if this agent–based model is combined with complex human behaviors data, it can provide much more specific information for predicting events of an emergency such as a building fire and disasters from earthquake or tsunami. Also, if this model is combined with information on spatial human activities from mobile–phone, it can provide great benefits for managing spatial and temporal planning for the urban places. More specifically, we can identify hot spots during daytime and nighttime, which can help to predict travel demands as well land use demand. Second, with the building scale dataset, we can deal with a variety of urban problems and issues. For example, energy is one of the big issues in our ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
