A protagonist in the crime thriller production ‘Moral Trap’
NAME: Matthew Mulcahy
PORTRAYED: Matthew Mulcahy
AGE: 18
MARITAL STATUS: In a relationship with Melinda Azemi
APPREARANCE: Matthew is a tall young man of 5’8 with light brown/dark blonde hair and green/hazel eyes that often change
depending on lighting. This character has an oval face shape and only slightly visible facial hair with a slim body.
LOCATION: North London, United Kingdom
PERSONALITY: He is one of the kindest characters in the film but is also very naïve and is shown to have signs of depression and
anxiety, especially after he murders daisy. This character is usually very social but has a need to be around others most of the time
and dislikes the thought of being alone for a long period of time.
LIKES: Films, spending time with people, reading books and of course, his [first] girlfriend.
DISLIKES: Betrayal and love triangles, ironic since he was previously involved.
CHILDHOOD: Had a very peaceful childhood and had always been family oriented so he doesn’t like the pressure of being an only
child (the pressure from his parents to strive for more than what he’s achieved)
FAMILY: Lives with his mother and father in a cereal packet household.
ALLIES: Melinda, his family
ENEMIES:: Police, local residents

4. MELINDA: Character Profile
An antagonist in the crime thriller production ‘Moral Trap’
NAME: Melinda Azemi
PORTRAYED BY: Melinda Azemi
AGE: 17
MARITAL STATUS: In a relationship with Matthew Mulcahy
APPEARANCE: She is a good looking girl with chesnut brown hair and medium brown eyes. She wears glasses and stands at the
petite height of 5’1. Her style is described to be laid back but girly, but this partly roots from her being unable to wear the same
types of clothes as girls her age but it’s mainly to coincide with her personality.
PERSONALITY: In the beginning, she was relatively described to be more laid back and mentally stable than the other
protagonists, until she learns of the deceit between Farzana and Matthew.
LIKES: Drowning herself in music, Matthew, singing, being creative
DISLIKES: Betrayal, love triangles, liars and feeling guilty.
CHILDHOOD: Peaceful, residing in a nuclear family. Eldest child with an eight year old sister and three year old brother - spends
a lot of time at home looking after them.
ALLIES: Matthew + family
ENEMIES: Police, local residents.

5. Rowan: Character Profile

NAME: Rowan Filmer
PORTRAYED BY: Rowan Filmer
AGE: 19
MARITAL STATUS: Single
APPEARANCE: A pretty strawberry blonde with a standard tomboy style but can actually be versatile on
occasion. Stands at the average height of 5'5 and is a proud unconventional girl, never afraid to be herself.
PERSONALITY: Frank and well spoken. A very modest individual but also very chatty but never fears saying her
mind but only in the nicest mannerisms. Rowan is also a gamer girl but can be somewhat of a wild child on
occasion. An unfortunate romantic.
LIKES: Videogames, socializing, Matthew, acting etc
DISLIKES: Melinda and love triangles.
CHILDHOOD: Conventional family upbringing. Even though her dad is no longer present, she has a stepdad she
admires just as much as a normal father. The youngest of two brothers.
ALLIES: Matthew + family
ENEMIES: Police, local residents.

6. Plot Summary (Slide 1)
The plot starts off with a Matthew reminiscing over a group of three best friends
sharing good memories for the first few scenes, but then there are also flashforwards
of Rowan and Melinda arguing (possibly to do with the fact that both girls are in love
with Matthew) and there are

7. Plot Summary (Slide 2)
The morning after her death, It's announced that she had been
killed and the two protagonists feel guilty and look at one
another, with the deceased's mother noticing this and whispers
something to a character in a black hoodie.

8. Plot Summary (Slide 3)
The rest of the trailer evolves around the couple covering up their murder and going
to any lengths to secure it such hiding murder weapons and "getting rid" of those who
will be suspicious of them.
More events will be displayed as the trailer goes on such as:
• Intimate scenes between Matthew and Rowan (kiss on the cheek)
• How the weapon will be brought
• Following the previous bullet point, how it was found.
• Horrific conversations
One of the last scenes of the trailer involves Melinda portraying herself in a low lit
angle as a murderer who attempts to kill Matthew.
And lastly, the trailer will be complete with scenes of two people walking across dim lit
halls and hands will be over their mouths.
