The music video is shot the whole time in a point of view shot of the man in the
beginning who puts on the helmet that transforms his life into the perfect life.
This music video’s most obvious and important meaning is just simply: nothing
else matters as long as I have you. You are the most important thing in my life
and without you I would be nothing. However this music video does not show
this person that the song is describing, it shows the ‘perfect’ life of the man in the
video that puts the helmet on. In some ways the mans so called ‘perfect’ life to
him is supposed to be everything that he would ever want, however it isn’t
because he hasn’t ‘got’ who the song is about therefore he hasn’t got a perfect
life. This tranquil setting shows everything that love isn’t, the music video shows
us that love isn’t that of material things instead it is the love of a partner. Overall
the concept of the video is to make us ask happier – to spoil ourselves or to have
someone who truly makes us happy.
