promote/advertiseaproductof mychoice the ideawhichI
haven’tthoughtof yet.I wantthe conceptof the advertto give of
a motivationandinspirational touchanda positive movement
whichsomewhatinspires people whateverthe message maybe.

The basic ideaof what I wantthe outcome to be is that the advert
shouldhave a meaning like ahiddenmessage forexample
because Iwant itto be somethingmore thanjusta promotionof a
product.Althoughthe productwill be clearlyadvertised there will
be some sort of an inspirational touchandfeel toitwitha
motivationaspect. Formyinitial ideaitisgoingtobe the
promotionof the well-knownsportswearcompanyNike,this
givingme manylines togo off e.g.football,running, and
basketball.WithchoosingthisproductIcan looka previouswork
fromthe companyandcompare how I wouldlike myadvert
campaignto look. The contentwill mostlikelyhave the
participationof one ormore people allowingme tohave a wider
range of ideastofollow andto applytothe project,the style of
shotswhichwill be usedwill be similartoanolderadvertproject
whichI didlastyear thisgivingme somethingtolookin
comparisontoo.Whenlookingintothe genre side of whatmy
projectcouldbe at firstnothingcame to mindbut now that I’ve
lookedintomore depthof how I wantit to be,itwouldhave quite
an adventurous side toit. To throw all that togetherandto make
it have a lotmore sense it’sbasicallygoingtobe a promotional
advertcampaignfor Nike withinspirational andmotivational
qualitieswhichwill hopefully affectthe viewerinmanyways.
There will be three situationsfeaturing3differentactorsall doing
differentdailyactivities,itwillclearlyinvolve Nike.Anexampleof
a situationwouldbe one anactor at a skate park wearingthe Nike
Janoski’swhichare actuallyskateboardingshoesandthiscouldbe
a story of thisactor wearingthe shoesandthroughoutthe advert
strugglingtodo a certaintrick andnot givingsotowardsthe end
he finallydoesitanddoesn’tgive up.A similarideawiththe two
othersituationswill gosomethinglike whatwassaidabove.
Target Audience?

The target audience formyprojectI wouldsaywhenthinkingof
age range wouldbe the youngertomidgenerationwhichwould
include teenstoadult.Itwouldalsoapplytobothmale and
female andanythinginbetween,thisalsoincludesanyrace or
religion. Asawhole Ithinkthe demographicformyadvert
campaignwill be definitelyforthe viewerswhichalreadywear
Nike,whichwouldbe inmyopinionyoungmenandwomen
mostlyinterestedinfitness/sport,althoughthismaynotjust
applyto justthemit mightalsotake interestinpeoplewhowear
Nike casuallynotlike justforfitness/sportetc.Whenitcomesto
the target audience of myadvertcampaignbecause of the style I
am goingfor I am alsolookingouttoreach more of an open
mindedaudiencebecause the conceptof myadvert have some
sort of positive andmotivational energyhopefullyinspiriting
people togetup andgo for example.

How will your project meet the
needs of your target audience?
Whenthinkingof mytargetaudience inmyopinionIsee them
wantingtobuy the productnot justbecause how goodand stylish
theylookbutalso some initiative toif theybuythemtheycould
achieve thisandthat forexample. Iwantthemto buythe
productbecause itcan have a goodimpact ontheirlife for
example runningshoes,if Ishow themhow itcan make a day
betterforgoingout running etc. thiscouldinfluencethemtobuy
themand make a change in theirlife bygettinghealthier.
Whatproductiontechniques
will you use to realise your
project?
Whenit comesto productiontechniquesandthe realisationof my
advertcampaign,firstof all like manystartsto projectsI will start
some researchintowhatI want to do,thiswouldinvolve
brainstormingcreatingmindmaps,moodboardsandbasic
primary and secondaryresearch.Iwill alsocreate schedulesand
productiondiariestokeepontaskon where Iwouldbe when
creatingmy advertcampaign;all of the above wouldcome under
pre production.Once I have all mypre productionsortedIcan
thenmove ontothe actual productionof myprojectthiswould
involve goingtolocationsandshootingthe footage whichneeds
to be done followingwithchoosingthe footage,editingand
finalisingthe project,actors,camerasandeditingsoftware’swill
be usedto create the desiredoutcome. Lastbutnot leastpost
production,afterall finalisingisdone Iwill thencompletean
evaluationformyadvertcampaigntalkingaboutstrengthsand
weaknessesforexample.
