MATH AND SCIENCE 
• Math is the study of relationships between numbers and 
quantities 
• Science is the study of physical and natural elements of 
the universe 
• Prepares more students for high level math and science 
related careers 
• Its role in the 21st century is to promote globalization in 
STEM-related careers
TOOLS TO PROMOTE THIS PILLAR 
• Arts and Bots 
• WebQuest 
• Digital Imaging 
• YouTube 
• Poster
YOUTUBE 
• The assignment would be for the students to each create their own 
YouTube account at home, and subscribe to the class YouTube 
channel. 
• Once the class has subscribed, the groups will meet up outside of 
class to record their own home experiments that are randomly 
selected and then post them on to the class channel. 
• After their own experiments are recorded and posted, they will 
record a reply to one of their classmates to give them feedback 
regarding their experiment.
CONCLUSION 
• Math and science is an important pillar that provides good 
knowledge for globalization. 
• Students who master these courses often have STEM-related 
careers 
• Increases collaboration between students and businesses

  • 1. MATH AND SCIENCE PILLAR PAGEN HOLLAND, CASSIE RUCKER, EMILY MUCK, TAYLOR SOMERVILLE

MATH AND SCIENCE • Math is the study of relationships between numbers and quantities • Science is the study of physical and natural elements of the universe • Prepares more students for high level math and science related careers • Its role in the 21st century is to promote globalization in STEM-related careers
  • 3. TOOLS TO PROMOTE THIS PILLAR • Arts and Bots • WebQuest • Digital Imaging • YouTube • Poster
  • 4. YOUTUBE • The assignment would be for the students to each create their own YouTube account at home, and subscribe to the class YouTube channel. • Once the class has subscribed, the groups will meet up outside of class to record their own home experiments that are randomly selected and then post them on to the class channel. • After their own experiments are recorded and posted, they will record a reply to one of their classmates to give them feedback regarding their experiment.
  • 5. CONCLUSION • Math and science is an important pillar that provides good knowledge for globalization. • Students who master these courses often have STEM-related careers • Increases collaboration between students and businesses
