Summary of Working Experiences
27 Years of Design engineering experience on Refinery, Petro-chemical on-shore/off-shore and
Communication projects as a Senior Designer. Leading in generating electrical and Multi-Discipline design
drawings and documents. Digitized electronic files using CAD Application and various engineering
software. Also involve in construction engineering support for project completion. Supervising design team
site visit activities, duties include ISSOW-PTW and HSE team supervisor.
July 2007 – July 2015 : Petrokon Utama SDN BHD, (Kuala Belait) Brunei
Position : Lead Electrical Designer cum Front Line Work Site Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Supervising team of engineers and designers is performing on shore and offshore site visits.
 Site verifications of project and as-built scopes. This duty includes coordination with HSE and
operations for ISSOW PTW system. Working with HSE for coordination and improvement to exercise

 Supervising the Design/As-built team on onshore/offshore.
 Work with the Electrical Project Engineers and Client in preparation of conceptual, detailed design and
as-built electrical package.
 Coordinates and participate in Project meetings and assisting Engineers in estimating man hours for
projects and as-built packages.
 Consolidated and analyzed comments and suggestions from maintenance and operation department on
the proposed design of a system for construction and modification.
 Monitored the project status and some revisions. Duties include supervising a group of designers and
CAD operators for digitizing preparation of electrical one line diagram, interconnection diagram,
electrical equipment layout, cable and cable tray layout. In preparation of electrical miscellaneous
installation details.
 Consolidated and analyzed comments and suggestions from maintenance and operation department on the
proposed design of a system for construction and modification. Monitored the project status and some
revisions.
 Supervising in preparation of cable and cable tray sizing, multi-cable transit sizing and layout as per
Client engineering standard and specifications. Duties include preparing and checking standard
requisitions and drawings. Duties also include modifying vendor existing and new drawings to meet
latest Client Engineering Standard and Procedures.
 Preparation of material take-off, SAP inputs.
 Supervising and coordinating with other electrical engineers/designers assigned on remote PUSB
offices in Brunei and Miri office.
 Leading PDMS electrical designers on inter discipline check/desktop review. Review comments/clash
reports and works with electrical design team on updating the design.
 PDMS design integrity check of raceways, equipment installations and other electrical equipment.
 Coordinates and work with QA/QC department for discipline documents and drawings quality.
 Coordinate and prepared drawings and documents electronic files for final submission to client, duties
include enhancing software utilities to meet BSP/Client standards.
 Involves in constructing drafting modules for technical school and as well as teaching and providing
learning materials for technical schools.

Standard. Prepared as-built drawings. Coordinate and prepared drawings and documents electronic files for
final submission to Oxy data system.

Work with the Electrical Project Engineers and SAPMT for the preparation of the electrical detailed design

calculation as per Saudi Aramco Engineering Standard using Dialux/Hubbel. Duties also include the

software for updating electronic files, duties include enhancing software utilities to meet Saudi Aramco

 Drafted Engineering design drawings for instrument and panel cable layout and termination details, warning
light, fire alarm and halon control panel layout, status lamp unit, H2S detector, heat detector, HC/HY
detectors layout, power and lighting cable layout, conduit and cable tray layout. Drafted HVAC control
system and layout for the REDDOG PROJECT - Comminco,Alaska.
 Gathered data and information for the corresponding drawing in the installation of an offshore gas
processing instrument system for the NATURAL GAS COMMISSION OF INDIA (ONGC) Duties
include drafting power, control and lighting layout, fire alarm and halon control panel layout, cable tray
layout and installation details.
 Drafted complete Electrical design drawings for UNOCAL PROJECT, such as wiring and termination
diagram for electrical system (lighting and small power layout) paging and communication wiring diagram,
fire alarm layout and termination details, pneumatic power control diagram and layout. Prepared as-built
drawings after project completion.
