2. Through the research, planning, construction and
evaluation phases there was a range of media
technologies that I used all throughout. This includes;
Adobe Premiere pro
Slideshare
YouTube
Photoshop
Prezi
Glogster
Blogger
3. This is the programme that I used to edit my clips
together to form my music video. This software
enabled me to use different effects to make my music
video look and feel professional. This piece of software
enabled me to develop my editing skills because of the
quality of the programme, which therefore enabled me
to edit a professional piece of work together.
4. I used slideshare quite a lot because it enabled me
to post my research or my work onto my blog. It
is quite simple to use, so I was able to just log on
and upload my powerpoint to it and then I was
able to share it onto my blog.
5. I used YouTube quite a lot during the research stage
because I was able to research potential artists and
music videos that fit in with the genre that I was
going to do. It enabled me to look for any codes and
conventions that I could potentially use in my music
video. Also, I used this website to upload my finished
music video so I could then embed it, so it came in
quite handy at that stage.
6. I used Photoshop to create my ancillary tasks, the
music magazine advertisement and the digipack. It
was very important that I practiced so that I could
make both of these tasks look very professional. As
this was from the same company as premiere pro, it
wasn’t too difficult to get used to using photoshop, so
I was able to make my two ancillary tasks look good.
7. I used prezi in AS briefly, so I had some
knowledge on the software so I was able to use it
straight away. This program gave me a good way
to present my work, and it looks professional.
This programme enabled me to edit the paths in
which the work appears and you are able to lay it
out exactly the way you want.
8. I used Gloster in my research phase as I was
looking into potential artists. I enjoyed using
Glogster because I was able to present my work in
a way that looks professional, and I was able to
edit it how I wanted it to look. It was then easy to
put this on to my blog.
9. Blogger was the main piece of software that I
have used throughout AS as well as A2. I stored
all of my coursework on my blog and it became
very important as this was my coursework. It
enabled me to type work, as well as embed from
websites such as YouTube etc.
