2. PRESENTE PERFECTO
Es un tiempo que sirve para describir acciones que
sucedieron en el pasado y que guardan alguna relación con
el presente.

4. Interrogación en presente perfecto
Verbo(auxiliar)+ Sujeto+ Verbo(participio)?
Have you talked to Peter?
Has she gone to work?
Have you been to London?
Have they learned English?
5. PRESENTE PERFECTO PROGRESIVO
El presente perfecto progresivo en inglés o también conocido como presente
perfecto continuo, es una forma verbal que nos ayuda a destacar una acción que ha
comenzado en el pasado y ha seguido ocurriendo hasta llegar al presente.
Sujeto + Verbo(auxiliar)+ been+ Verbo con ing +Complemento
Ejemplo:
They have been talking for three hours.
She has been studying English since she was 16.
I have been waiting for you for over an hour!
6. Negación del Presente Perfecto Progresivo
Sujeto+Verbo(auxiliar)+not+ been+ Verbo con ing + Complemento
They have not been talking for more than a few minutes.
She hasn't been studying English for very long.
Don't worry, I haven't been waiting long.

Verbo auxiliar + sujeto + "been" + Verbo con ing?
Have they been talking for a long time?
Has Mary been waiting long?
7. PASADO PERFECTO
El Pasado Perfecto en el idioma inglés es un tiempo verbal que se
utiliza para referirnos a una acción que tuvo lugar en un momento anterior a
otra acción, aunque ambas hayan sucedido en el pasado estableciendo un
orden entre ellas.
Sujeto + Had + Verbo(participio) + Complemento
Ejemplo:
Henry changed careers because he had worked as an accountant for many
years and was bored.
I had visited the Louvre before so I knew where the Mona Lisa was.
They'd studied English before they went to London.
8. Negación del Pasado Perfecto
Sujeto + Had + not + Verbo(participio) + Complemento
I had not visited the Louvre before so I didn't know where the Mona Lisa was.
They had not studied English before they went to London.
Henry changed careers even though he had not worked as an accountant for long.
Interrogación del Pasado Perfecto
Had + Sujeto + Verbo(participio)?
Had Fitzerald worked as an accountant for long before he changed careers?
Had they studied English before they went to London?
9. EL PASADO PERFECTO CONTINUO
El Pasado Perfecto Continuo se utiliza para indicar que algo
comenzó en el pasado y continuó hasta otro momento también del
pasado.
Sujeto + Had + been + Verbo con ing + Complemento
Ejemplo:
• I had been studying English for 2 years when I went to
California.
• Lindsay had been working at the store since 2005 when it
closed.
• They were surprised when the airline lost their baggage as
they'd been traveling for weeks without a problem.
10. Negación del Pasado Perfecto Continuo
Sujeto + Had + not + been + Verbo con ing + Complemento
I had not been studying english long when I went to California.
Lindsay had not been working at the store for long when it closed.
They had not been traveling long before they had their first problem.

11. FUTURO PERFECTO
El Futuro Perfecto es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar situaciones que
se están produciendo o que se desarrollarán en el futuro y que imaginamos que
habrán finalizado para cuando llegue el momento al que hacemos referencia.
Sujeto + Will have + Verbo(participio) + Complemento
Ejemplo:
The party will have ended by the time you finish work.
I will have eaten before we meet.
I will have finished my studies before I start my new job.
12. Sujeto + Will not + have + Verbo(participio) + Complemento
The party will not have ended by the time you finish work.
I will not have eaten before we meet.
We will not have become fluent in Spanish by the time we leave for Mexico next
month.

Will the party have ended before you finish work?
13. FUTURO PERFECTO PROGRESIVO
Se usa para expresar cuánto tiempo habrá durado una acción en un determinado
momento del futuro. Este tiempo verbal enfatiza la continuidad de un
acontecimiento en un momento futuro.
Sujeto + Will have + been + Verbo con ing + Complemento
Ejemplo:
We will have been working for 24 hours by the time we finish this project.
Francis will have been living in Italy for 4 years by the time he finishes his
studies.
Jessica will have been studying English for 5 years when she moves to England
next April.
14. Negación del Futuro Perfecto Progresivo
Sujeto + Will not +have + been + Verbo con ing + Complemento
Francis will not have been living in Italy for long when he finishes his studies.
We will not have been working too long by the time we finish this project.
