Just Let It End
Just let it end.
Eliot sat in complete darkness, tucked behind a door and clutching the only thing that meant
something to him. Man and dog sat beneath a wrack of coats, the man shivering while the dog
cuddled further into him, patiently waiting to be let out. But they couldn 't leave yet. There were still
the loud sounds of someone moving through the various rooms, pulling out drawers and toppling
tables. As the footsteps grew nearer, his heart picked up its pace.
Here it was. Years of work down the drain. Even worse, the developments he had made on the
strange disease in the last few months would be nothing. No vaccine would be developed. No cure,
no cause. The doorknob turned, and the man doing the turning was revealed. He was a ... Show

Eyes gaped up at the dark ceiling while fingers explored the wound and a series of barks ricocheted
off the narrow walls.
Suddenly he was alone, even his canine companion betraying him in the end. Was this really it?
Despite the death all around him, Eliot had never taken the time to consider his own mortality. He
had throw himself into his work with considering the possibility of such a commonplace thing as
death. In his mind, he was untouchable, an immortal sent to this earth for the sole purpose of saving
every possible person he could. And now a person brought his demise.
It must have been hours spent laying on the closet floor, staring up at nothing and realizing this was
it. This was the other side. A big stretch of nothing in all directions with nowhere to go and nothing
to feel. Another presence moved into the frame, something warm pressing against his face and
leaving a long swipe of saliva. Realization of the situation crashed down around him. He certainly
wasn 't dead, if Darwin was still hovering over him, encouraging his friend with the gentle scraping
of his tongue.
Carefully, Eliot sat up with his hand pressed to the wound, pain flaring up. Vacant eyes took in the
black figure, watching the tail wag and the bright eyes. A word of praise was issued to the canine, a
the wounded arm coming up so he could run fingers through the familiar fur. Blood coated his
fingers, and suddenly the worry for himself was gone. Holding

Urban Legends: The Laundry Room Killer
Urban legends are social fears constructed into stories; to scare people from potentially dangerous
situations. Just a few of these type of legends to name are: The Laundry Room Killer, The
Babysitter and the Man Upstairs, and The Backseat Killer. These legends stress that you should be
aware of you surrounding. They are quite believable as well, until you sit down and analyze the
likeness of these situations happening. At some point you will realize they are too good to be true.
Many people fear danger, therefore, they are more likely to believe the legends. Many families care
about the safety and well–being of their friends and loved ones, therefore, they are more likely to
spread these legends.

Bright Star Allusion
The poems "Bright Star" by John Keats and "Choose Something Like a Star" by Robert Frost are
apostrophes that compare the desired and undesired qualities of a star with an aspect of their lives.
The authors use personification, diction, metaphor and allusion and both poems address a theme of
steadfastness and perpetuity in love and life. Both poems are apostrophes but differ in to whom the
speaker of each poem is speaking to and what each speaker wants from the star its self. In Keats'
poem, the speaker directly addresses the star, "Bright star! would I were steadfast as thou art––" (1).
The speaker romanticizes about the star's "steadfast" and "unchangeable" quality and wishes to
apply it to his relationship with his beloved. The speaker in ... Show more content on

The speaker(s) seem to regard the star with a tone of respect, reverence and almost awe, referring
the the star as "your loftiness", as if addressing royalty, and willing to "grant" the star "the right / To
some obscurity of cloud––" (2–3). The speaker also alludes to the metaphor describing the star as an
"eternal" watcher of the world, the "sleepless Eremite" of Keats' poem and describes the star as
"steadfast" as aforementioned "Keats' Eremite, / Not even stooping from its sphere" (18–19). The
star is also described as a "mystery" "Since dark is what brings out your light" (5). This light in the
darkness idea seems to suggest that the speaker(s) regard the and look to the star as a representation
of hope and consistency, of stability in times of uncertainty, "at times the mob is swayed / To carry
praise or blame too far"

Analysis Of The Poem ' Bright Star '
The beautiful thing about poetry is a person can find oneself immersed in the words even if he or
she does not know the overall meaning of the poem. Rereading the poem many times helps strike
new ideas, and will help the reader to catch something in the poem that one did not catch before.
This could be identifying a theme, genre, or simply identifying an interesting word. Bright Star by
John Keats is a love poem that goes beyond a man just talking to and admiring a star. John Keats
demonstrates the writer's desire to live eternally with his lover through various themes and
personifications that open the gates to symbolism throughout the sonnet.
John Keats' poem is a powerful sonnet that induces a lot of themes. The poem's Different themes
come out of hiding as one familiarizes oneself with the poem more. The stars isolation is introduced
in line two when Keats writes, "Not in lone splendor hung aloft the night" (Keats 2). Than nature
comes into play in line four. Religion devotion is hinted at multiple times throughout the poem. One
could probably identify more themes because poetry is always open to interpretation. Keats' poem
shows a man's admiration for a stars steadfastness, but does not want to watch oceans and snow for
eternity, but he does want to be with his lover for eternity with as much faith as the star shows. The
poem begins with Keats saying, "Bright star, would I were steadfast as thou art" (Keats 1). The
writer admires the star's steadfastness. According to

Mass Movement In Eric Kushner's A Bright Room Called Day
Nowadays, mass movement is defined as an assimilation process, where people throw away their
own personal identities and follow submissively the orders of their leaders. The idea of people being
obedient to some of the cruelest orders, such as killing millions of people in the Holocaust, surprises
many people. Thus, many authors decide to find out the answer by bringing up many opinions about
the creation of the mass movement in their own books or plays for discussion. One of those authors
is Eric Hoffer, who suggests that a mass movement is created by the cooperation between "the man
of words", "the fanatic", and "the man of actions" (147). In fact, he points out that the three groups
have the same craving for something new and different that they believe can only be obtained
through a revolution. At the same time, Tony Kushner also offers his own belief on the topic through
his play "A Bright Room Called Day" by establishing a setting in Berlin, where people follow their
own party in a fight against the development of a Nazi government. Moreover, many characters in
the play perform somewhat similar roles to the three groups' duties described by Hoffer. In fact, the
characteristics of Baz as an outsider and a man of words, Agnes as a fanatic who joins the party out
of boredom, and Zillah as a person of action who refuses to accept the Reagan government will be
discussed in this essay to identify the similarities and differences between the viewpoints of two
authors about

The Bright Blue Danger
Have you ever noticed how colorful the seaworld is? Living things such as fishes, aquatic plants,
corals, sharks, whales, and etc make up our underwater world. Presenting different characteristics,
all of them have their own way of contributing in the sea's life and beauty. However, everything has
its danger and darker side. Australian culture has a belief that when something its too colorful it
should have a "tell tale" sign of "Danger! Do not touch!" One example of beautiful and colorful
creatures though dangerous are the sea slugs. Having its own color to grab attention, the sea slugs
are animals which are fatal to human beings and other aquatic animals. There are various ways that
this creatures defend themselves in the ocean. One possibility stated by scientists is the camouflage,
due to the mixture of their colors, but one of the main means of defence in sea slugs is to have
distasteful, sometimes toxic, chemicals stored in the body. Considered one of the most dangerous
sea slugs now a days, the Blue Sea Slug float on the surface of the ocean being carried by the
currents and the winds. Most people do not know about its existing, only when days of onshore
winds blow great fleets of them on to the beaches, causing pain for swimmers. The Blue Sea Slug,
scientifically named Glaucus atlanticus, make its way through temperate and tropical waters all
around the world. According to the EOL encyclopedia, it can reach up–to–3–centimeter–long

The Bright Hope Preschool Program
To make sure the program is meeting its objectives for the children, parents, teachers, and the
community, we will have meetings, where we will open to any comments or criticisms so that we
can accommodate to them accordingly. For example, the Bright Hope Preschool will also have a
survey that will focus on objections that the parents, teachers, and the community may have so that
we can take them into consideration. We will also have weekly reports and share them at the
teachers meetings. The program will provide opportunities for the parents, teachers, and the
community to get to know each other and not only at events for the children. This way, it will give
off a comfortable and warm atmosphere instead of a distant and awkward one.
The NAEYC has ten standards for preschool/early childhood programs that help families choose the
right preschool or kindergarten for their children. For a childcare program to become accredited, it
must pass all ten standards. These ten standards are: relationships, curriculum, teaching, assessment
of child progress, health, teachers, families, community relationships, physical environments, and
leadership and management. On a scale from 1 to 10, the program will rank an 8 for the first

Bright Water Quotes
The role of Lum in Truth and Bright Water, as mentioned before, is similar to Harlen in Medicine
River. He also serves as the protagonist's best friend and companion while specifically being related.
However, unlike Harlen, Lum is seen as a positive and negative influence towards the protagonist.
As Tecumseh's older cousin, Lum is often seen making fun of his cowardly nature. In some
instances, he is even seen bullying him. However, they both share the same feelings of physical
abuse by their fathers. They believe that their father's actions are justified in which they deserve
punishment. Lum even went as far as defending his by claiming "we fight all the time, it's normal"
(240). Certainly, physical abuse is not normal in any form. Moreover, he had been kicked out of the
house and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Furthermore, he is responsible for the death of Soldier, Tecumseh's dog, and his mental breakdown.
It is evident that Lum had decided that there was nothing left to live for. He is last seen running
towards a broken bridge, disappearing into the fog, with no traces left behind. Although not to his
intentions, Soldier follows him and disappears as well. The undoing of Soldier is perhaps his loyalty
towards his owners, but the double suicide that occurs is clearly due to Lum's foolhardy actions.
Unfortunately, these dark turn of events influenced and developed Tecumseh's mental breakdown.
However, the positives of this is the fact that Tecumseh develops and grows as a person due to the
feeling of loss. This is evident when he opens up to his mother and aunt, dolefully saying "I miss
Lum, and I miss Soldier" (281). In the past, Tecumseh would never act in this way since he over
thinks situations and bottles his emotions. Clearly, the abrupt deaths of his closest friends and family
caused him to develop mentality. Therefore, Lum is an influence towards the growth and
development of the

she slowly loses her mind. Lisa is quite an example of teenager with problems which is why she'd
be classified as a very real character. Her dangerous state of mind reflects the realism that this does

This is an example of man verse himself since the conflict deals with
Lisa fighting her illness. This book type is about a social problem. This means that a dilemma
occurred in the social area. In this case it involved Lisa Shilling and her struggle with society and
her illness. One example of this social problem would be the fact that society such as Lisa's
classmates were uneducated about her problem so they didn't understand her. Another example
would be how
Lisa's parents were too busy with their life to notice their daughter's plea for help. Yet another
example would be how the teachers and guidance tried to look around the problem. Today, the same
social problems are still faced.
The book's them dealt with mental illness and treating it. It was about Lisa and her problems. This
book showed that the perplexing problem could be treated right just as long as she got the right help.
Her friends were the main people to help her overcome it all. It can be seen that this situation was
very difficult then and now. The moral of this story is based on the illness of a girl and society's
impact on her. It goes to show that she was helped and hurt at the same time. This passage caught
my eye. It's a moment of shock and surprise caused by Lisa's illness. This is a sudden outburst no
one was prepared for. They handled it well under those circumstances. Lisa had shoved Elizabeth

Bright-Sided Summary And Analysis
I tend to take life with a more positive and optimistic approach. Many people have commented on
the way I carry myself with my upbeat and happy mood. I contribute these qualities to my choice of
being positive. Believing that the vibes I exude is what I shall receive. Negativity festers on the
inside and promotes nothing but more negativity. Starting each day with a positive affirmation helps
me begin a successful day. Positive thinking encourages people to be happier and healthier and I am
a firm believer in that. There are skeptics who believe positive thinking practices are a mere trend
and wants society to stop encouraging it. Myth buster and author of Bright–Sided, Barbara
Ehrenreich, goes as far as saying positive thinking has damaged America. In her book she comes
down on positive thinkers insisting they need to be more realistic about the struggles that
undoubtedly are coming into their lives. Disagreeing with certain peoples' beliefs about the method

Studies have produced evidence that feelings of joy can arise from just a smile. There are many
studies about positivity and the direct effect it has on peoples' lives, therefore it helps them grow
successfully in many different areas. Psychologist and researcher of human emotions at the
University of North Carolina, Barbara Frederickson, refers to positive emotions as nutrients. She
compares these emotions to fruits and vegetables stating that like healthy foods we need healthy
emotions to thrive as well. (Malcolm) The consequences of negative thinking target multiple areas
of the mind and body. One can suffer from stomach aches, headaches, reduced energy, chronic
depression, and it can even throw off hormone balance. Relationships with family and friends are at
risk. Additionally, there are studies confirming decreased life span to negative thinking and stress.

The Future Is Bright with Fusion
With the world's supply of fossil fuels declining, alternative sources of power are an important issue
in the minds of scientists and world leaders alike. While everyone scrambles to find the most
effective way to harness solar, wind, and water power, they forget about a form of producing energy
that has been researched for 70 years and is only a hair's breadth from being usable(26). Fusion, the
same power that fuels the sun, could fuel the world's homes and cars. A 1000 megawatt coal–fired
power plant requires 2.7 million tons of coal per year(21) whereas proposed fusion power plant
designs only require 250 kilos of fuel per year to produce more power(22).That's 1/10800000 of the
fuel required to run a coal–fired plant. Even with all fusion could accomplish, funding for it has
been cut dramatically in the past few years because of the inability of scientists to attain sustained
fusion. Fusion is the key to ending our dependence on coal, oil, and natural gas because sustained
fusion would produce 4 million times the energy that current methods produce and the fuel is
harmless and readily available.(thesis statement)
Producing electricity in almost any power plant is a very similar process. In each, a fuel heats water
into steam, which then flows through pipes to spin turbines. When the turbines spin they produce
usable power. The main difference between the power plants are the form of fuel used and how it is
used. In a coal–fired, wood, or natural gas power plant the fuel

My Life Of A Bright Star
Fifteen years have passed since the day I was born, and I have three life alternating moments to
represent the most important events I've been through. At the age of eight, life was a bright star. My
younger sister, Aria, was born. During my mother's pregnancy I was a conceited, narcissistic little
brat. The responsibility of being someone's older sibling is huge. The thoughts running through my
mind at the time were all a bit depressing. I was thinking about how hard it'll be and how much
work will be needed to be done. But in the moment I held her, all the negativity disappeared and I
held life in my hands. I couldn't believe all the opposing thoughts I had about an innocent child. The
feeling was purely ecstatic. In that moment I started to think more about life. In its most astonishing
moments life is more a gift than a drag. Its more of a bright star rather than a something pulling you
down. I had a little sister, and looking at that now I realize I could never have hoped for a better one.
At times she seems to live to annoy me to death, while other times she tends to mess my room up
when shes mad at me. I'm okay with that, after all we were born to be real, not perfect.
At the age of twelve, when my aunt died, my life was like an alarm clock. My aunt and I were fairly
close. We used to walk around together often and talk about almost anything. At times I may have
prefered her over my mother. She got me into my obsession of sports. She was there when I scored

Truth and Bright Water Essay
The Affects of History
History is something that molds and shapes a person into who they are today. Thomas King shows
this in his novel Truth and Bright Water through many of the characters. He not only lets you see
how the aboriginal people's history has affected their lives today, but also how the personal history
of some characters has affected their lives. A person's past can help one understand why they live
their life the way they do; it is the answer to any question you had about them. All the minor events
that go on throughout the novel explain how history affects an individual's identity and Franklin,
aunt Cassie and Monroe are excellent examples. First, when told about Franklin in the novel it is
easy to not think much of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All the past events in his life and how he chose to deal with them is what made him the man he is
today in this story. Now that Lum is dead as well, Franklin really understands the meaning of not
realizing what a good thing you had until it's gone. Also, aunt Cassie can relate to that
understanding. She even says something along those lines in the novel. ""Just be careful what you
give away," says auntie Cassie. "There are some things you want to keep.""(King p. 259). Even
though in this quote she is talking about the giveaway, it is very clear that there is a deeper meaning
behind her statement. In her past, or as aunt Cassie says, ""Another life," she says. "Another time.""
(King p.259), Mia had a huge influence on her. Although it was never stated in the book Mia is her
daughter who she had given up for her own personal reasons. Even though Thomas King never
revealed the details of that situation, it had a huge affect on aunt Cassie. For example, in the quote
where she is warning to watch what you give up, it tells you she has regrets over something she has
given up. Aunt Cassie most likely gave up Mia for adoption and has not been able to fully let go.
Even though she tries to forget, this event will forever have an affect on her identity because she
gave up a part of herself. This explains why she would send Tecumseh random presents for girls;
she would do it subconsciously when reminded of Mia on her

Bright Yellow Colored Paper
Does using bright, yellow colored paper increase a 12 year old student's score on a math test than
using plain, white paper? From logical reasoning, a hypothesis is formed from this question. The
hypothesis is that if 12 year olds take a math test on bright, yellow colored paper, then they are
going to perform better than other 12 year olds who take the same math test but on white paper. To
conduct this experiment, the experimenter needs to gather the population of students who have
similar math academic levels and are of the age of 12 by random selection. There is going to be an
equal number of boys and girls. These students are then going to be given the same 5th grade math
test which involves solving mathematical equations and word problems by adding, subtracting,
multiplying, and dividing. Only one variable in this experiment varies and that is the independent
variable. The independent variable in this situation is the color of the paper given. The experimental
group of 12 year old students is the group being administered the yellow colored paper. The results
from this is going to be compared to the control group of 12 year olds who are going to be taking

Bright Star essay
In Bright Star, Keats utilises a mixture of the Shakespearean and Petrarchan sonnet forms to vividly
portray his thoughts on the conflict between his longing to be immortal like the steadfast star, and
his longing to be together with his love. The contrast between the loneliness of forever and the
intenseness of the temporary are presented in the rich natural imagery and sensuous descriptions of
his true wishes with Fanny Brawne.
The structure of Bright Star is unique in that it breaks free of the limitations of the sonnet form, a
form that is notorious for its strict and constrained nature. The rhyme scheme falls very close to the
Shakespearean rhyme scheme of ABABCDCDEFEFGG, in which the last two lines represent the

This shows how the speaker realises the importance of companionship, but also how the star in
reality is actually a lone and solitary figure in space, surrounded by nothing for miles around. Keats
wishes he were like the star, as he admires the personified star's immortal quality, but notices its
shortcomings, he will be alone forever in cold space.
Keats uses the volta and the sestet to portray how he ultimately rejects the loneliness of forever in
favour of the temporary life of reality in which there is companionship and love. The strong
synaesthesia of 'pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast', appeals to our sense of touch as we
can feel the warmth and the 'pillow', our sense of taste due to the associations with fruit that
'ripening' has, and our sense of sight as we can vividly imagine the scene. This conveys to us how
sensuous and preferable it to be on Earth with love from others, than to be alone in the skies, even if
human life is temporary. It is likely that 'fair love' was addressed to Fanny Brawne, Keats' lover,
showing how Keats feels love strongly and passionately. The repetition of 'for ever' in 'feel for ever
its soft fall and swell / Awake for ever in a sweet unrest' is ironic, because it shows Keats wishing to

Bright-Blood Sequences
2.2.2 Bright–Blood Sequences
Gradient echo sequences are typically bright–blood sequences. They have fast acquisition time and
hence can be used to obtain physiological information such as myocardial function, velocity and
blood flow measurements. They are sensitive to metal artifacts and inhomogeneities in the magnetic
field. [3] [5]
Steady State Free Precession (SSFP) is a variation of gradient echo/bright–blood imaging where the
RF pulses are repeated every TR (repetition time) with no spoiler gradients.[] Spoiler gradients
eliminate the transverse residual magnetization that may remain at the end of a pulse sequence [6].
SSFP provides better contrast between the myocardium and blood (Figure 2(b)). It has short
acquisition time and hence ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The abnormalities that can be visualized in an MRI are dilation of the left ventricle (LV), wall
thickening due to partial replacement of myocytes with fibrotic tissue and increase in end–diastolic
volume. [7]
Dilation of LV can be identified using CMR by assessing the ventricular volume and the systolic
function. CMR can also characterize tissue which enables quantification of fibrotic tissue. This
provides a measure of the severity of the disease and if viewed along with gadolinium (Gd) dye
contrast, also allows differentiation between ischemic and non–ischemic cardiomyopathy. [7]
3.1.2 Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
CMR can be used to determine the extent of hypertrophy of myocardium and hence distinguish
between regional and global hypertrophy. During late gadolinium–enhancement CMR, images are
taken 10–15 minutes after the administration of the dye. This technique can be used for detection
and quantification of fibrosis at the interventricular septum. [8]
3.1.3 Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy
In this type of cardiomyopathy, the wall of the RV is replaced by fibrotic tissue. CMR is used for
assessing the right ventricular volume and the systolic function. It can also be used to characterize
tissue which enables identification of fibrotic or fatty tissue in the RV.

Difference Between Big Mama Thornton's Performance In...
The first difference between Big Mama Thornton's performance in the video of Hound Dog and
Elvis Presley's is that Big Mama Thornton stays remotely in the same place the whole time. The
little movement she does do consists of her rocking her body and move her arms, but she does not
move far away from the original spot she starts in.Which gives the impression that it is a more
serious situation for her. The meaning behind the lyrics Mama Thornton sings is about a man who
sneaks around her home and wants things from her, but she wants nothing to do with him. Then,
while Elvis is performing he is constantly moving around and dancing. This gives the impression
that he is having more fun with it and the lyrics are not as deep to him. This could

Bright Morning: Navajo Tribe
Bright Morning is a young girl who is part of the Navajo tribe. As a Navajo woman, her mother was
the owner of a large flock of sheep, since shepherding is part of the Navajo way of life. With her
black dog in tow, Bright Morning takes the flock to the High Mesas so they can feed on new grass.
Her peers White Deer and running Bird always follow along. One day, Bright Morning and her
friend Running Bird are caught by men who they later realize are Spaniards. The leader of the
Spaniards, "the one with white teeth", as Bright Morning describes this man, is a slave catcher that
has made a deal with a Señora in a small town. The Señora has a 12–year old maid named Rosita,
who was also brought by the leader of the Spaniards. Bright Morning will

Bright Star Tone
The comparison and contrast of John Keats' Bright Star and Robert Frost's Choose Something Like
a Star quickly reveal the extremely different tones on the world and environment around them. Each
poem's speaker's diction and tone showcase a distinct approach to stars and a distinct philosophical
approach to the world as a whole. Bright Star employs a romantic tone towards the stars, while
Choose Something Like a Star's tone reflects an inquisitive and scientific mind. In both poems, the
stars represent a god–like figure and the speaker's reaction to said higher being; however, the two
poems conclude in two distinct reactions to these higher beings. Both poems, while literally focused
on stars, metaphorically showcase humanity's relationship, whether devoted or questioning, with
God. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He specifically admires the star's "steadfast" (line 1) trait. The speaker obsesses over one miniscule
detail about the star, instead of investigating various attributes of the star, he only focuses on the one
trait. The speaker romanticizes this trait by dreaming about being steadfast on his "fair love's
ripening breast." (Line 13). He completely disregards other traits of the star. Not even pondering the
possible negative aspects of the star, the speaker idealizes the star. The poem is written in sonnet
format, the speaker desires to remain constant like a bright star on his lover's chest. Bright star eerily
represents the masses who blindly follow a certain religious group for stability without opposing

The Bright Side Of Social Networking
Hamad Yousef Professor: Joanne Martin English 113B 12 Feb 2015 The bright side of social
Networking Social Networks are actually becoming such services and platforms in the modern era,
which help one to connect people across the world. They have actually changed the social lives and
making them connected to those who have similar interests like their own selves and come from the
same background. The way these social networks work is that they one who wants to be part of
them would just have to make up their profile and then get connected through one single platform
by different means through setting up social groups and linking up with friends and family spread
across the globe. It has actually made the way we socialize today totally different, modifying lives
and connecting in a manner, which is not direct face to face instead through a platform where
everyone could link in. The most known of the social networks which have gained utmost
popularity over the years is Facebook. Facebook is the amongst the second largest social networking
site and almost half a billion users across the globe hook up to it every single day. Although social
networking can cause lack of self–confidence in real life, it has changed our social lives and the way

The Tale of Green Harbor
In the Green Harbor you will find waves of fresh vibrant green valleys and animals that jump from
one hiding spot to another. Swaying palms filled with ripe fruit just waiting to be picked. The smell
of the fresh morning air is sweet and warm, with peaceful winds that provides a relaxing breeze.
Wind Chimes can be heard from the houses and the smell of the fresh tropical ocean that is not far
from the small community near by, where little geckoes and tropical birds can be sighted and even
visit while people are just relaxing on the beach or shopping on foot. Within this pleasant Island of
Green Harbor there is a sweet place, a place where little geckoes of different colors live with parrots
and palm trees all around like a gate around the warm soft sand and the dolphins live and can be
seen from the shore and people can even swim with them if they wish. Where you see people in
trees and giant lizards wandering around, where carpets can levitate and waves curl into tubes and
and fish can fly and birds can sing, where the sun shines bright and everyone is greeted with a grin.
In this special place pearls cause the water to sparkle and the sun causes the pearls to make
underwater rainbows among the schools of colorful unique fish. If you look closely and try really
hard you might see, a dragon, horse, or even a snow leopard up in a tree or hiding in a volcano or a
cave on the water. In this special place in Green Harbor peoples' nails change with their mood and

Bright And The Hole Essay
Today, is August 19, 2149. After Russia and the United States entered the war, countries quickly
chose sides. As was expected, Canada, Mexico, and a majority of Europe sided with the United
States and in what may have been the surprise of the century, England sided with Russia, while
Germany joined with the United States. After almost 10 years of intense war, the last atomic bomb
dropped on the United States, called the Extensor. The United States quickly annihilated Russia and
Europe with all the firepower we had and the countries were no longer in existence. In the aftermath
of WWIII, the United States is in shambles and has adopted the lands that were once England and
Russia. It is apparent that large cities are the safest place to life. ... Show more content on

Deborah Bright Landscape Summary
Deborah Bright believed that images of landscape could not just be perceived simply as an antidote
to politics. She also believed that landscapes could not just be summarized as aesthetic pleasure that
we so happen to capture with our lens. For if we were to think in this way then landscape would just
be a simple subject matter that represents a distinct modern phenomenon. The term "landscape",
comes from European art history, it refers to a genre of painterly practice that gathered momentum
and prestige only in the 17th and 18th centuries. Back then the tradition of painting, landscapes were
to display carefully cultivated gardens suited to the gods and heroes. However as the 17th century
went on a new way of capturing landscapes emerged.

“A Thing Of Beauty Is A Joy For Ever”: The Myth Of John...
When adapting a work of literature into a film, the filmmaker takes into consideration what that
specific piece of literature conveys in terms of motif and attempts to portray that aesthetic value
onto the screen. Jane Campion's Bright Star is an adaptation of John Keats' letters and poems to
Fanny Brawne. Her film is a faithful adaptation in which it captures the emotional aspects of these
pieces of literature and physically displays them on the screen in a manner that represents the
subtext of the literature it is based on. The difficulties of adapting these letters and poems arises
from the one–sided perspective that only reveals some insight into how John Keats felt. Campion's
take on the tragic love affair doesn't play from Keats' ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Campion's embrace of negative capability became a slogan when making Bright Star as evident
when she says: "I think that concept was important for a lot of us on the film, that idea that great
men have a way of managing to stand within doubt and uncertainties, mysteries, without irritably
searching after fact or reason." For Campion, the story of Bright Star wasn't about getting
everything absolutely accurate, but instead was focused on telling a captivating tale of two people
who have fallen in love and filling in the moments in between the lines written by Keats and those
written but unknown by Brawne. In a sense she is stating that it was more important to capture the
feeling of the letters and poetry rather than depict the life of John Keats historically accurate. That
everything needs to be resolved, the accounts of Fanny Brawne, the way John Keats spoke about
Fanny to his friends, the things Keats and Brawne did together, and the like, are not what drives the
story. Campion captures the theme of Keats' letters and poetry by adhering to this philosophy and
John Keats even writes about it in one of his letters to Fanny Brawne when he says: "'If I should
die,' said I to myself, 'I have left no immortal work behind me – nothing to make my friends proud
of my memory – but I have lov'd the principle of beauty in

Ethical Dilemm People Face Ethical Dilemmas
Ethical Dilemma Essay
People face ethical dilemmas every day. This brings to light what one's personal ethics are based on.
According to the lecture, "In a CWV ethics are grounded in absolute and universal moral principles
that have been given by God. In modern culture, moral standards are subjective and based upon
personal preference" (Lecture 16). In this essay a case study will be given and solutions to the
dilemma will be given from two different worldviews. The ethical dilemma I have chosen to write
about is abortion. I will first give the Christian worldviews opinion for this dilemma then I will give
a naturalists worldview opinion.

Richard say it is ultimately her choice but he suggests that she stops the suffering before it starts.
Core Beliefs
The core beliefs that would be relevant to this situation from a Christian worldview are you shall not
kill and God has a reason for all things. All life is precious. God created all things and He creates
them to His divine plan. God has a plan for that child even though he or she will have Down
syndrome. God says killing is wrong in the Ten Commandments and abortion is the same as killing
someone.
Resolution
From a Christian worldview the solution would be to have the baby not and abortion. Abortion is
wrong in the eyes of God because it is an act of murder. All life is precious and when a women has
an abortion she is destroying God's perfect creation. That child is perfect in God's eyes even with the
Down syndrome. God has a will for that child.
Evaluation
If Susan decides to have the baby she will most probably have to quit her job and stay at home with
the child for the rest of the child's life. She will have to devote herself to the baby and always be
there for the child. According to Richard Dawkins, "you would probably be condemning yourself as
a mother (or yourselves as a couple) to a lifetime of caring for an adult with the needs of a child.
Your child would probably have a short life expectancy but, if she did outlive you, you would have

Bright Road Case Summary
Aldina, thank you for the effort in describing the incident that occurred at Bright Road, and the
implications this had for Bright Road and Dr. Fredericks. There were a few good points that you
made when trying to support your report, first, you were able to clarify that Mr. Davis had made
changes to his consent form prior to the treatment. Then, that Dr. Fredericks agreed that he relied on
what he viewed as the patient's verbal consent to proceed with the procedure, and that he probably
did not look at the written consent before the surgery. You were able to identify that this procedure

supporting argument in order to make these specific assertions. Another thing to take into
consideration, is that If you are addressing this report to a specific person, such as Bright Road's
Counsel, it would be best not to refer to his own statement as a third person, such as in your
statement: "This could create a possible conflict is brought to court as witness statement because
according to Jeff Passmore, it could result in a civil suit for battery." When it comes to your
conclusions and suggestions for improvements, I agree with the recommendation of having a third–
party sign as a witness for any written consent. On the other hand, I am confused about your
statement: "accepting the liability by Dr. Fredericks," because if Bright Road is going to settle this
case, the institution has to accept responsibility themselves, Bright Road has to agree that they are
liable for what had occurred. Maybe the statement was not worded clearly, but that is where my

Tears pour out of my dark, blue eyes and roll down my flushed face like a waterfall. I stand barefoot
on the peppermint green tiles in my parent's bathroom, and I draw a heart into the dusty mirror. The

of a young girl clinging to a dark haired man's broad shoulders in a park scenery which causes my

pulling my mother's hair when she fed my brother causing him to smile. I stood by his bedside every

When my brother failed to reach his early milestones, including poor motor skills, my concerned
mother referred her plead to doctors who diagnosed Paul at six months with a rare, but aggressive
type of mitochondrial disease. Paul's heartbreaking diagnosis with a muscle biopsy of Leigh's
Syndrome, a progressive inherited disease that affects the central nervous system, changed my
family's life forever. He departed from the hospital in his stroller with two clear identical oxygen
tubes emerging from his delicate nostrils and traveling to a cylinder tank containing oxygen. My
father's dreams of taking my brother to go fishing or throw a baseball ended, and the happy and
joyous thoughts of my mother dancing with Paul at his wedding or even watching him take his first
steps faded away. Everyday succeeding day for the next two years, Paul fought hard for his life to

afternoon hours of November 30, 2003. She slowly sways back and forth while trying hard to keep

The Bright Blue Danger of Sea Slugs

  • 1. Just Let It End Just let it end. Eliot sat in complete darkness, tucked behind a door and clutching the only thing that meant something to him. Man and dog sat beneath a wrack of coats, the man shivering while the dog cuddled further into him, patiently waiting to be let out. But they couldn 't leave yet. There were still the loud sounds of someone moving through the various rooms, pulling out drawers and toppling tables. As the footsteps grew nearer, his heart picked up its pace. Here it was. Years of work down the drain. Even worse, the developments he had made on the strange disease in the last few months would be nothing. No vaccine would be developed. No cure, no cause. The doorknob turned, and the man doing the turning was revealed. He was a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Eyes gaped up at the dark ceiling while fingers explored the wound and a series of barks ricocheted off the narrow walls. Suddenly he was alone, even his canine companion betraying him in the end. Was this really it? Despite the death all around him, Eliot had never taken the time to consider his own mortality. He had throw himself into his work with considering the possibility of such a commonplace thing as death. In his mind, he was untouchable, an immortal sent to this earth for the sole purpose of saving every possible person he could. And now a person brought his demise. It must have been hours spent laying on the closet floor, staring up at nothing and realizing this was it. This was the other side. A big stretch of nothing in all directions with nowhere to go and nothing to feel. Another presence moved into the frame, something warm pressing against his face and leaving a long swipe of saliva. Realization of the situation crashed down around him. He certainly wasn 't dead, if Darwin was still hovering over him, encouraging his friend with the gentle scraping of his tongue. Carefully, Eliot sat up with his hand pressed to the wound, pain flaring up. Vacant eyes took in the black figure, watching the tail wag and the bright eyes. A word of praise was issued to the canine, a the wounded arm coming up so he could run fingers through the familiar fur. Blood coated his fingers, and suddenly the worry for himself was gone. • 2. Urban Legends: The Laundry Room Killer Urban legends are social fears constructed into stories; to scare people from potentially dangerous situations. Just a few of these type of legends to name are: The Laundry Room Killer, The Babysitter and the Man Upstairs, and The Backseat Killer. These legends stress that you should be aware of you surrounding. They are quite believable as well, until you sit down and analyze the likeness of these situations happening. At some point you will realize they are too good to be true. Many people fear danger, therefore, they are more likely to believe the legends. Many families care about the safety and well–being of their friends and loved ones, therefore, they are more likely to spread these legends. One night a woman decided to go out for some ... • 3. Bright Star Allusion The poems "Bright Star" by John Keats and "Choose Something Like a Star" by Robert Frost are apostrophes that compare the desired and undesired qualities of a star with an aspect of their lives. The authors use personification, diction, metaphor and allusion and both poems address a theme of steadfastness and perpetuity in love and life. Both poems are apostrophes but differ in to whom the speaker of each poem is speaking to and what each speaker wants from the star its self. In Keats' poem, the speaker directly addresses the star, "Bright star! would I were steadfast as thou art––" (1). The speaker romanticizes about the star's "steadfast" and "unchangeable" quality and wishes to apply it to his relationship with his beloved. The speaker in ... The speaker(s) seem to regard the star with a tone of respect, reverence and almost awe, referring the the star as "your loftiness", as if addressing royalty, and willing to "grant" the star "the right / To some obscurity of cloud––" (2–3). The speaker also alludes to the metaphor describing the star as an "eternal" watcher of the world, the "sleepless Eremite" of Keats' poem and describes the star as "steadfast" as aforementioned "Keats' Eremite, / Not even stooping from its sphere" (18–19). The star is also described as a "mystery" "Since dark is what brings out your light" (5). This light in the darkness idea seems to suggest that the speaker(s) regard the and look to the star as a representation of hope and consistency, of stability in times of uncertainty, "at times the mob is swayed / To carry praise or blame too far" ... • 4. Analysis Of The Poem ' Bright Star ' The beautiful thing about poetry is a person can find oneself immersed in the words even if he or she does not know the overall meaning of the poem. Rereading the poem many times helps strike new ideas, and will help the reader to catch something in the poem that one did not catch before. This could be identifying a theme, genre, or simply identifying an interesting word. Bright Star by John Keats is a love poem that goes beyond a man just talking to and admiring a star. John Keats demonstrates the writer's desire to live eternally with his lover through various themes and personifications that open the gates to symbolism throughout the sonnet. John Keats' poem is a powerful sonnet that induces a lot of themes. The poem's Different themes come out of hiding as one familiarizes oneself with the poem more. The stars isolation is introduced in line two when Keats writes, "Not in lone splendor hung aloft the night" (Keats 2). Than nature comes into play in line four. Religion devotion is hinted at multiple times throughout the poem. One could probably identify more themes because poetry is always open to interpretation. Keats' poem shows a man's admiration for a stars steadfastness, but does not want to watch oceans and snow for eternity, but he does want to be with his lover for eternity with as much faith as the star shows. The poem begins with Keats saying, "Bright star, would I were steadfast as thou art" (Keats 1). The writer admires the star's steadfastness. According to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Mass Movement In Eric Kushner's A Bright Room Called Day Nowadays, mass movement is defined as an assimilation process, where people throw away their own personal identities and follow submissively the orders of their leaders. The idea of people being obedient to some of the cruelest orders, such as killing millions of people in the Holocaust, surprises many people. Thus, many authors decide to find out the answer by bringing up many opinions about the creation of the mass movement in their own books or plays for discussion. One of those authors is Eric Hoffer, who suggests that a mass movement is created by the cooperation between "the man of words", "the fanatic", and "the man of actions" (147). In fact, he points out that the three groups have the same craving for something new and different that they believe can only be obtained through a revolution. At the same time, Tony Kushner also offers his own belief on the topic through his play "A Bright Room Called Day" by establishing a setting in Berlin, where people follow their own party in a fight against the development of a Nazi government. Moreover, many characters in the play perform somewhat similar roles to the three groups' duties described by Hoffer. In fact, the characteristics of Baz as an outsider and a man of words, Agnes as a fanatic who joins the party out of boredom, and Zillah as a person of action who refuses to accept the Reagan government will be discussed in this essay to identify the similarities and differences between the viewpoints of two authors about ... • 6. The Bright Blue Danger Have you ever noticed how colorful the seaworld is? Living things such as fishes, aquatic plants, corals, sharks, whales, and etc make up our underwater world. Presenting different characteristics, all of them have their own way of contributing in the sea's life and beauty. However, everything has its danger and darker side. Australian culture has a belief that when something its too colorful it should have a "tell tale" sign of "Danger! Do not touch!" One example of beautiful and colorful creatures though dangerous are the sea slugs. Having its own color to grab attention, the sea slugs are animals which are fatal to human beings and other aquatic animals. There are various ways that this creatures defend themselves in the ocean. One possibility stated by scientists is the camouflage, due to the mixture of their colors, but one of the main means of defence in sea slugs is to have distasteful, sometimes toxic, chemicals stored in the body. Considered one of the most dangerous sea slugs now a days, the Blue Sea Slug float on the surface of the ocean being carried by the currents and the winds. Most people do not know about its existing, only when days of onshore winds blow great fleets of them on to the beaches, causing pain for swimmers. The Bright Hope Preschool Program To make sure the program is meeting its objectives for the children, parents, teachers, and the community, we will have meetings, where we will open to any comments or criticisms so that we can accommodate to them accordingly. For example, the Bright Hope Preschool will also have a survey that will focus on objections that the parents, teachers, and the community may have so that we can take them into consideration. We will also have weekly reports and share them at the teachers meetings. The program will provide opportunities for the parents, teachers, and the community to get to know each other and not only at events for the children. This way, it will give off a comfortable and warm atmosphere instead of a distant and awkward one. The NAEYC has ten standards for preschool/early childhood programs that help families choose the right preschool or kindergarten for their children. For a childcare program to become accredited, it must pass all ten standards. These ten standards are: relationships, curriculum, teaching, assessment of child progress, health, teachers, families, community relationships, physical environments, and leadership and management. On a scale from 1 to 10, the program will rank an 8 for the first standard, relationships. The Bright Hope Preschool promotes both the children and adults to feel welcome. • 8. Bright Water Quotes The role of Lum in Truth and Bright Water, as mentioned before, is similar to Harlen in Medicine River. He also serves as the protagonist's best friend and companion while specifically being related. However, unlike Harlen, Lum is seen as a positive and negative influence towards the protagonist. As Tecumseh's older cousin, Lum is often seen making fun of his cowardly nature. In some instances, he is even seen bullying him. However, they both share the same feelings of physical abuse by their fathers. They believe that their father's actions are justified in which they deserve punishment. Lum even went as far as defending his by claiming "we fight all the time, it's normal" (240). Certainly, physical abuse is not normal in any form. It is evident that Lum had decided that there was nothing left to live for. He is last seen running towards a broken bridge, disappearing into the fog, with no traces left behind. Although not to his intentions, Soldier follows him and disappears as well. The undoing of Soldier is perhaps his loyalty towards his owners, but the double suicide that occurs is clearly due to Lum's foolhardy actions. Unfortunately, these dark turn of events influenced and developed Tecumseh's mental breakdown. However, the positives of this is the fact that Tecumseh develops and grows as a person due to the feeling of loss. This is evident when he opens up to his mother and aunt, dolefully saying "I miss Lum, and I miss Soldier" (281). In the past, Tecumseh would never act in this way since he over thinks situations and bottles his emotions. Clearly, the abrupt deaths of his closest friends and family caused him to develop mentality. Therefore, Lum is an influence towards the growth and development of the ... His style of writing are usually touching stories. Finding information about John Neufeld is quite difficult since the Internet nor the book has provided any help whatsoever. Lisa is quite an example of teenager with problems which is why she'd be classified as a very real character. Her dangerous state of mind reflects the realism that this does happen. This means that a dilemma occurred in the social area. In this case it involved Lisa Shilling and her struggle with society and her illness. One example of this social problem would be the fact that society such as Lisa's classmates were uneducated about her problem so they didn't understand her. Another example would be how Lisa's parents were too busy with their life to notice their daughter's plea for help. Yet another example would be how the teachers and guidance tried to look around the problem. Today, the same social problems are still faced. The book's them dealt with mental illness and treating it. It was about Lisa and her problems. This book showed that the perplexing problem could be treated right just as long as she got the right help. Her friends were the main people to help her overcome it all. It can be seen that this situation was very difficult then and now. The moral of this story is based on the illness of a girl and society's impact on her. It goes to show that she was helped and hurt at the same time. This passage caught my eye. It's a moment of shock and surprise caused by Lisa's illness. This is a sudden outburst no one was prepared for. They handled it well under those circumstances. Lisa had shoved Elizabeth toward the dying fire, and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Bright-Sided Summary And Analysis I tend to take life with a more positive and optimistic approach. Many people have commented on the way I carry myself with my upbeat and happy mood. I contribute these qualities to my choice of being positive. Believing that the vibes I exude is what I shall receive. Negativity festers on the inside and promotes nothing but more negativity. Starting each day with a positive affirmation helps me begin a successful day. Positive thinking encourages people to be happier and healthier and I am a firm believer in that. There are skeptics who believe positive thinking practices are a mere trend and wants society to stop encouraging it. Myth buster and author of Bright–Sided, Barbara Ehrenreich, goes as far as saying positive thinking has damaged America. In her book she comes down on positive thinkers insisting they need to be more realistic about the struggles that undoubtedly are coming into their lives. • 11. The Future Is Bright with Fusion With the world's supply of fossil fuels declining, alternative sources of power are an important issue in the minds of scientists and world leaders alike. While everyone scrambles to find the most effective way to harness solar, wind, and water power, they forget about a form of producing energy that has been researched for 70 years and is only a hair's breadth from being usable(26). Fusion, the same power that fuels the sun, could fuel the world's homes and cars. A 1000 megawatt coal–fired power plant requires 2.7 million tons of coal per year(21) whereas proposed fusion power plant designs only require 250 kilos of fuel per year to produce more power(22).That's 1/10800000 of the fuel required to run a coal–fired plant. Even with all fusion could accomplish, funding for it has been cut dramatically in the past few years because of the inability of scientists to attain sustained fusion. Fusion is the key to ending our dependence on coal, oil, and natural gas because sustained fusion would produce 4 million times the energy that current methods produce and the fuel is harmless and readily available.(thesis statement) Producing electricity in almost any power plant is a very similar process. In each, a fuel heats water into steam, which then flows through pipes to spin turbines. When the turbines spin they produce usable power. The main difference between the power plants are the form of fuel used and how it is used. In a coal–fired, wood, or natural gas power plant the fuel ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. My Life Of A Bright Star Fifteen years have passed since the day I was born, and I have three life alternating moments to represent the most important events I've been through. At the age of eight, life was a bright star. My younger sister, Aria, was born. During my mother's pregnancy I was a conceited, narcissistic little brat. The responsibility of being someone's older sibling is huge. The thoughts running through my mind at the time were all a bit depressing. I was thinking about how hard it'll be and how much work will be needed to be done. But in the moment I held her, all the negativity disappeared and I held life in my hands. I couldn't believe all the opposing thoughts I had about an innocent child. The feeling was purely ecstatic. In that moment I started to think more about life. In its most astonishing moments life is more a gift than a drag. Its more of a bright star rather than a something pulling you down. I had a little sister, and looking at that now I realize I could never have hoped for a better one. At times she seems to live to annoy me to death, while other times she tends to mess my room up when shes mad at me. I'm okay with that, after all we were born to be real, not perfect. At the age of twelve, when my aunt died, my life was like an alarm clock. My aunt and I were fairly close. We used to walk around together often and talk about almost anything. At times I may have prefered her over my mother. She got me into my obsession of sports. She was there when I scored my first ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Thomas King shows this in his novel Truth and Bright Water through many of the characters. He not only lets you see how the aboriginal people's history has affected their lives today, but also how the personal history of some characters has affected their lives. A person's past can help one understand why they live their life the way they do; it is the answer to any question you had about them. All the past events in his life and how he chose to deal with them is what made him the man he is today in this story. Now that Lum is dead as well, Franklin really understands the meaning of not realizing what a good thing you had until it's gone. Also, aunt Cassie can relate to that understanding. She even says something along those lines in the novel. ""Just be careful what you give away," says auntie Cassie. "There are some things you want to keep.""(King p. 259). Even though in this quote she is talking about the giveaway, it is very clear that there is a deeper meaning behind her statement. In her past, or as aunt Cassie says, ""Another life," she says. "Another time."" (King p.259), Mia had a huge influence on her. Although it was never stated in the book Mia is her daughter who she had given up for her own personal reasons. Even though Thomas King never revealed the details of that situation, it had a huge affect on aunt Cassie. For example, in the quote where she is warning to watch what you give up, it tells you she has regrets over something she has given up. Aunt Cassie most likely gave up Mia for adoption and has not been able to fully let go. Even though she tries to forget, this event will forever have an affect on her identity because she gave up a part of herself. From logical reasoning, a hypothesis is formed from this question. The hypothesis is that if 12 year olds take a math test on bright, yellow colored paper, then they are going to perform better than other 12 year olds who take the same math test but on white paper. To conduct this experiment, the experimenter needs to gather the population of students who have similar math academic levels and are of the age of 12 by random selection. There is going to be an equal number of boys and girls. These students are then going to be given the same 5th grade math test which involves solving mathematical equations and word problems by adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Only one variable in this experiment varies and that is the independent variable. The independent variable in this situation is the color of the paper given. • 20. Bright Star essay In Bright Star, Keats utilises a mixture of the Shakespearean and Petrarchan sonnet forms to vividly portray his thoughts on the conflict between his longing to be immortal like the steadfast star, and his longing to be together with his love. The contrast between the loneliness of forever and the intenseness of the temporary are presented in the rich natural imagery and sensuous descriptions of his true wishes with Fanny Brawne. The structure of Bright Star is unique in that it breaks free of the limitations of the sonnet form, a form that is notorious for its strict and constrained nature. The rhyme scheme falls very close to the Shakespearean rhyme scheme of ABABCDCDEFEFGG, in which the last two lines represent the final heroic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This shows how the speaker realises the importance of companionship, but also how the star in reality is actually a lone and solitary figure in space, surrounded by nothing for miles around. Keats wishes he were like the star, as he admires the personified star's immortal quality, but notices its shortcomings, he will be alone forever in cold space. Keats uses the volta and the sestet to portray how he ultimately rejects the loneliness of forever in favour of the temporary life of reality in which there is companionship and love. The strong synaesthesia of 'pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast', appeals to our sense of touch as we can feel the warmth and the 'pillow', our sense of taste due to the associations with fruit that 'ripening' has, and our sense of sight as we can vividly imagine the scene. This conveys to us how sensuous and preferable it to be on Earth with love from others, than to be alone in the skies, even if human life is temporary. It is likely that 'fair love' was addressed to Fanny Brawne, Keats' lover, showing how Keats feels love strongly and passionately. The repetition of 'for ever' in 'feel for ever its soft fall and swell / Awake for ever in a sweet unrest' is ironic, because it shows Keats wishing to live in this moment of ... This provides a measure of the severity of the disease and if viewed along with gadolinium (Gd) dye contrast, also allows differentiation between ischemic and non–ischemic cardiomyopathy. [7] 3.1.2 Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy CMR can be used to determine the extent of hypertrophy of myocardium and hence distinguish between regional and global hypertrophy. The term "landscape", comes from European art history, it refers to a genre of painterly practice that gathered momentum and prestige only in the 17th and 18th centuries. Her film is a faithful adaptation in which it captures the emotional aspects of these pieces of literature and physically displays them on the screen in a manner that represents the subtext of the literature it is based on. For Campion, the story of Bright Star wasn't about getting everything absolutely accurate, but instead was focused on telling a captivating tale of two people who have fallen in love and filling in the moments in between the lines written by Keats and those written but unknown by Brawne. In a sense she is stating that it was more important to capture the feeling of the letters and poetry rather than depict the life of John Keats historically accurate. That everything needs to be resolved, the accounts of Fanny Brawne, the way John Keats spoke about Fanny to his friends, the things Keats and Brawne did together, and the like, are not what drives the story.
