Christian Worldview Curriculum
In today's world, there are an insurmountable number of avenues in which society's worldviews are
influenced. With the continued advances of technological innovations, mainstream media can
infiltrate through music, social media, etc., and thus discreetly influence our worldview in a
multitude of ways. Moreover, children today are more vulnerable than ever before as these
influences, often familiarly disguised, can manipulate their ideals and thereby influence their
worldview. Therefore, it is imperative that a Biblical foundation, thus worldview is established
early. Hence, the significance of integrating a Biblical worldview into the curriculum, as it ensures
that children have a sound view. What is a worldview? A worldview is a person's perception and/or
belief of things, such as the reason for our existence and what is or is not reality. Regardless of
creed, ethnicity, or race, "people of all ages from all across the world have a worldview, which
begins its development from the very first interaction they have with those around them"
(MacCullough, 2016).These ideas, which our influenced by our upbringing, experiences, as well as
through mainstream media outlets, essentially cultivate the ideas we generate regarding all that
encompasses life's realities, which thereby influences our actions ... Show more content on

For instance, a biology teacher can show videos of the process of how life begins. By showing how
after fertilization the zygote's cells continue to multiply until it ultimately attaches and continues its
development, proves beyond a doubt that life begins at conception. With today's society driven to
remove God and thrive in secularism, respect for life is non–existent. Therefore, "biblical worldview
integration is essential, as Scripture is needed to enlighten and, thus restore their worldview"

' Mexican Views Of The U. S. Turn Sharply Negative?
In the survey, "Mexican Views of the U.S. Turn Sharply Negative," by Margaret Vice and Hanyu
Chwe, the Pew Research Center assesses Mexico's sentiments toward the United States. The survey
focused on three general areas: dramatic shifts in how Mexicans see the United States, Mexican
pessimism about their country's direction, and poor ratings for Pena Nieto and political parties. The
target population, the group to whom the survey was intended to generalize, was the entire adult,
those eighteen years and older, Mexican population (excluding insecure areas). The sample was
drawn from 1,000 individuals. The survey was fielded March 2nd to April 10th, 2017. The survey
consisted of face to face interviews conducted in Spanish, weighting ... Show more content on

Without a sample that has been slected from random selection as probability samples are, one
cannot generalize. Coverage error, the failure to give some persons in a target population a chance to
be selected into the sample, was present in the survey because insecure areas were not represented.
The survey attempted to mitigate coverage errors by conducting face to face interviews to eliminate
the coverage bias introduced by phone interviews. The response rate was not reported in the
methodology page. However, if the response rate was 25%, that would indicate that the 1,000–
sample size was taken from 4,000 individuals. Whether response rate affects data quality is a matter
of debate, yet, according to Hillygus, "multiple studies have found that lower response rates do not
indicate the results are inaccurate" (Hillygus 42). The role response rates have on the accuracy of
results is uncertain, but inclusion of it provides insight into the quality of the methods. Similarly,
there exist several sources for measurement of error: the questionnaire, the data collection method,
the interviewer, and the respondent. The questionnaire utilized was not provided in the report.
Therefore, evaluation of the question wording effects and the response categories for questions
cannot be made. However, according to the Pew Research, translation was carefully cared out in a
multi–step process and data collection was meticulously recorded.

Standing On The Rooftop Of A Building
Standing on the rooftop of a building in a city can give you the feeling that you can view the whole
world from where you stand. Worldviews differ for every individual, shaped by their values, biases,
prejudices, loves, commitments, and fears as mine is. Developed through experience worldviews
shift, as I expect mine will many times. A large component of your worldviews are the values you
hold, something that event affect other things that shape your worldview. Over the past 8 ½ months
my world view has changed similarly to our Earth's rotation, we do not feel it but we know it is
happening and given time we can see of the stages that occurred. A value is a person's judgement on
what is important in life and is what priorities are within ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

I feel this is the case for many people and is a human condition that can be suppressed if a person
realizes the bias has developed into a negative prejudice. Prejudices are rooted in a person's sense of
justice, which is most likely why I have a prejudice against negative and unkind people. Because I
have such a strong value of kindness I have developed a slight prejudice towards those who do not
share this value though I try my best to not act upon this prejudice. The contrasting aspect of the
prejudices contained in my worldview are my loves. What a person loves is such a broad subject it
can mean anything from a person to a meal to a color. Some of my loves include my family, friends,
food, my cat, myself, and hope that can be found when you least expect it. Each one of these things
are large parts of my life that have influenced my life in a positive way and this positive influence is
most likely why I have come to love them so much. Of course I love other things like books I have
read like: Harry Potter, Les Miserables, and Stephen Hawking's Brief History. Or shows I watch
like: Supernatural, Sherlock, Criminal Minds, and Merlin.
Or even my sweatpants, the color blue, and my soccer cleats.
But all of these things have a lesser impact on my life even though I love them. In this way a
person's loves shape their core values and yet are also shaped by those values. Based on your love

Developing A Worldview
Worldview is your perspective on events and issues. Developing a perspective takes reflection on
what you read, learn, and experience firsthand. One might expect to find influences from parents,
siblings, teachers, friends, acquaintances, the clergy, co–workers, etc., in an individual's worldview.
Worldview can also be formed by family's economic status, level of education, racial or ethnic
background, and their expectations. Overall, all these factors are a piece of an individual's
worldview. We should be aware of our worldviews because it as an important aspect of who we are;
based on our surroundings, we grow intellectually to the person we are today. According to

In specific, we should protect the rivers, oceans, and forests. The community should be doing
everything they can to protect the environment because polluting the ocean and cutting down the
forests will just create more problems in the near future, not just for the environment, but also for
our need of resources. There has been news and articles on how our resources are becoming scarce,
such as clean drinking water and habitats for the wildlife, which leads to my opinion of protecting
them from further damage. If we did not have this issue, the environment and society would not
have to struggle with limiting resources. My major influences on my opinion is the surroundings I
see going on everyday in my environment, as well as how my parents raised my morals to be. Based
on what my parents have taught me, we should never be wasteful of our resources. Ever since I was
a kid, my parents always made me finish all my food and if I did not finish it; I would be in big
trouble obviously and had to sit there till I finished all of my food. This also led to the mindset that
there are other people out there that do not have as much resources depending on the environment
they live in. The area that I grew up in has not always been so neat, therefore I would always go to
the volunteering events or any other event that would improve the environment that we are living in.

Values, Culture And Worldviews Should Matter At Public...
According to our own personal experiences we view the world in a different way, not everyone is
the same and everyone is unique in their own way. Values, culture and worldviews are some of the
most important features that differentiate one from another whether be through a business aspect, a
primary or secondary socialization aspect (where we learn from our parents and what we are taught
by institutions on what is the correct way to live) or even through cultural and social norms. The aim
of this topic is to show why values, culture and worldviews should matter to public relations (PR).
Firstly the oxford dictionary defines culture as "The attitudes and behavior characteristics of a
particular social group", this places prominence on the idea that each social group respond to
messages differently, culture as a concept is something that differentiates how groups of people
make sense of their experiences and by focusing on a particular social groups attitude and behavior
it is easier for PR practitioner's (PRP's) to identify a specific target audience.
Banks (2000,p20) notes that PR practices may initiate the creation of cultural identities in the sense
that they create a persona for an organization that may be deemed as credible and plausible to their
target audience and or influencing communication messages made by the public in order to promote
social change for example when influencing government policy e.g. the bailiffs campaign put
together by the citizen

Negative Views Of Senior Management
Problem Statement Recently, there has been some restructuring made in our organization, resulting
in many negative views of Senior Management. Important and positions were eliminated, such as
Assistant Team Leads, Directions, and even our Chief Financial Officer. Among those positions,
there were several others deem as unnecessary support staff that we also eliminated. Shortly after,
our Human Resources Manager voluntarily left. Additionally, many full–time team employees were
let go, leaving a feeling of uncertainty and fear for jobs throughout the remaining employees. Many
of the remaining employees were left with the mentality of "Who is next to go?" This wouldn't be
that large of a problem, however, these individuals have not been replaced, over six months later. It
is evident that these staffing issues are causing strain across all levels of the organization. Before
this major restructuring the company had close to 200 employees. All departments were affected by
the layoffs, and the company reduced to around 130 and the number has steadily declined in the last
6 months to level out at about 100. Internally, the approximate 50% decline of workforce has had a
significant impact on remaining employees. It has disrupted the everyday work functions for those
individuals. In addition to feeling survivor's guilt after such a large and sudden layoff, it has also left
employees feeling very angry. Some have turned to social media options or other sites such as Glass

• Why Do Many Take A Negative View Of Bureaucracy?
Why do many take a negative view of bureaucracy?
In this essay, I will discuss the variables that shape people's minds about the role of bureaucracy. In
the first section of this paper I will define bureaucracy with special emphasis on the United States
(U.S.) government. Then, in the second section of this paper, I will list and analyze the factors that
people perceive as negative in the development of bureaucracy. Lastly, in the last section of this
paper, I will mention a few elements that the correct exercise of bureaucracy does right.
Bureaucracy is the facial representation of the American government to the common man. We
interact with it on daily basis such as when we go to DMV for a license, or at the Board of Elections
when registering for voting or when filling out an IRS form to pay our taxes. Many people perceive
the term bureaucracy with negative attachments to it due to previous experiences while dealing with
it. Many others also believe that the bureaucracy machinery is only a waste of money, time and
resources due to its huge volume and few achievements. None of them are wrong as dealing with
bureaucratic processes is a rather tedious task which usually involves countless hours and thus
money. However, in large societies (like the American) there is the need to implement a system
capable of following guidelines, structures, policies, etc. It is like having the white painted lines on
the highway to distinguish one lane from the other. Let's imagine for a

Developing Negative Views Through Judgments
Developing negative views through judgments is a form of stereotypical evidence known to be
caused by attribution biases. Stereotypes are formed when we judge specific types of people based
on their behaviour, views and opinions. When trying to understand others we may make mistakes
when judging and these become biases in attribution. These negative views we make can include
anger, anxiety and hostility and Martinko et al. (2006; as cited in Martinko, Harvey & Douglas,
2007) argued it is highly likely to feel these emotions in relation to attribution biases.
The attribution theory, first proposed by Heider (1958) argued people are naïve psychologists trying

Jones and Harris (1967) found this when presenting American subjects with essays either for or
against the Castro government in Cuba, with the task being to estimate the writer's true opinion
towards this. Subjects were informed the writers were either told which argument to focus on as part
of a political exam or chose themselves. The findings revealed though attention was paid to the
situation (whether the writer had a choice) it was significantly underestimated indicating the
participants were influenced by the views expressed by the writer who was allowed to choose.
Consequently negative judgments may form if the strong influential views are distracting and
prominent thus causing situational factors to be forgotten. A similar study by Fein, Hilton and Miller
(1990; as cited in Eysenck, 2002) also asked participants to read a student essay on a controversial
topic. The student was again assigned to write in favour or against, or they chose what view to argue
knowing the professor marking it had strong views about it. Participants were later told this
student's view was the same as the professor. The results showed those who thought the student had
been assigned the view made the FAE indicating the expressed view was the student's true view.
Additionally those who thought the student had a good reason for hiding their true opinion (in this
case pleasing the professor) did not reflect their true opinions. The FAE hence makes ones

The Negative View Of Vlad The Impaler
The negative view of Vlad the Impaler has stemmed from two factors the view of the Impaler by
western historians and western countries in general, and Bram Stoker's Dracula most western
history books and historians tend to focus more on his deeds than his achievements and triumphs
over the Turkish Ottoman Empire. For example according to a runaway brit article during the
middle ages, there was a German minority living within the region of Transylvania known as the
Transylvanian Saxons. These Germans were mainly merchants who under the reign of Vlad's father
were allowed to trade freely in Wallachia as long as they paid a tax. According to a LiveScience
article by Marc Lallanilla during the reign of the Impaler they stopped paying said tax.

Sociology Worldviews
A worldview is a philosophy and outlook of the world around us typically held by a group or
members of society (Funk, 2001). Worldviews and society around us significantly impact the way
we view and think about culture and education. The Milne (2013) quote discusses the idea that when
children are young they do not have these views on culture and other's beliefs. Children at a young
age, have not been exposed to views of others, and therefore are oblivious and innocent to the
worldviews and race issues. It does not matter to young children, as "they don't care where they put
the colours" (Milne, 2013, p. 6). These children do not have the stereotypes that society has created
to form an opinion about other's ethnicities and backgrounds, therefore ... Show more content on

Normalisation is very prevalent within our society (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, 2003).
This normalisation is created by society through views of others and takes on a position of what is
normal and what is abnormal in society (Mika, 2017). The dominant group within society is
typically considered to be "normal", while those outside of the dominant group classifications, are
considered different and abnormal. This causes people from outside of the dominant group to aspire
to be part of this "normal" group, as they consider this to be of more benefit than to be placed within
the diverse category. Therefore, aspiring to climb higher within the social ladder that has been
created through society expectations of normalisation (Theodorou, 2011). When discussing
diversity, often it is in relation to how different it is from the normal, typically "white" background
(Milne, 2013). This means that it is causing the "other" groups to be put in boxes according to how
different their culture and beliefs are from the normal, as opposed to recognising unique cultures as
something to be valued. Due to normalisation's pervasive nature it tends to have a significant
influence in many domains of society, such as education (Stanford

The main purpose of the investigation was to help our editor of the school newspaper with
information on the various chosen topics so that the articles can be published. The two main topics
covered in the investigation was Oculus Rift and Google Glasses. My main goal for this
investigation and report was to be able to inform people in our school and those who read our
newspaper about the impact of technology, specifically the impact of newly and highly developed
items. I would need to investigate the situation fully to be able to give due feedback pertaining to
the impact technology has and will have on the daily lives of people. The target audience of my

Donald Trump Negative View
I will be writing about our current presidential candidate, Donald Trump, particularly about his
negative view point of women. Seeing how the president of the United States is responsible for
diplomatic relations between the United States and the world, particularly those with the United
Nations. Seeing how there are twenty–two world leaders whom are female, many of which are part
of the U.N. I believe his chauvinistic view would jeopardize diplomacy between the U.S. and other
countries. I will demonstrate some of his view points about women and how they have affected us
as a nation already. In 1991 Trump told Esquire in regards to some bad press, "You know, it really
doesn't matter what they write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ***. But she's
got to be young and beautiful." To him it would seem as if beauty would outweigh intelligence and
other characteristics society deems to be important to run a country. Do you really want a president

The I Reasonably Enjoyed Reading The Loudest Duck
I reasonably enjoyed reading The Loudest Duck; it was very informative and gave me very different
points of view. It hit the ground running with a statistic that as of 2010 there were 13 women and 4
blacks that were CEO's for Fortune 500 companies (Liswood 3). These proportions are drastically
lower than what it would be if it followed the population of the U.S. Looking at this simply, it shows
that females and blacks (along with other non–dominant groups) are disadvantaged in some way
along the path to becoming a CEO of a great company. This is in agreement with the PowerPoint
from the Africa and Diaspora event, which showed that blacks and other races were being
disproportionally put imprisoned and killed. The Loudest Duck describes the differences between
the dominant group and the non–dominant group through the symbolism of the dominant group as
an elephant and the non–dominant group as a mouse. The idea is that the elephant doesn't need to
pay attention to what the mouse does or care about its thoughts, but the mouse needs to learn the
elephant's behavior and the way it reacts in order to survive being around the elephant (Liswood 31–
41). This was a very clear way of explaining the difference and I think it fits the US on many
different ways. At a national level many citizens of the US have very little knowledge of what
happens in other countries, other than what the media tells us about what the US is doing, but
citizens of other countries actually pay

The Mind 's Eye By Oliver Sacks
The status quo holds that the connection between experience and social connections is
unidirectional. Simply put, experience affects social connections, period. However, social
connections can affect one's experiences through psychological and biological changes. Barbara
Fredrickson in her paper Love.2.0: How Our Supreme Emotion Affects Everything We Feel, Think,
Do and Become explains how the biology of love and creating bonds can affect a person physically,
psychologically and biologically. In The Mind's Eye by Oliver Sacks, Sacks elaborates on the stories
of a multitude of people who went blind at some point in their lives. Alone Together: Why We

Once this manifestation takes hold, the two people begin to subconsciously imitate and interpret
information like the other person. This subconsciously affects experiences by allowing someone to
"walk a mile in someone else's shoes" because the people's "respective brain waves mirror one
another...moment by moment–changes the other's mind," (110). These psychological changes, as
stated before, leads to a change in perspective since your mirror waves are the same as those of the
person whom you have bonded with. Moreover, behaviors that have arisen from social connections
can greatly influence and experience. Behavior can define an experience because it determines how
others will interpret this experience. A common example of this is after a person loses someone
whom they care about. Often times, people will say that death has changed the person. This is
primarily because people tend to act rash and irrational while maintaining a negative mentality
shortly after a loved one's passing. This grieving period has been seen to change people's personality
as well as their behavior. We can draw a parallel with children and Furbies. In the late 90's, Furbies
were popular toys that children would talk to and get a response (Turkle 467). The fact that these
toys were always on and had a personality made them a holiday season craze.

Christian Worldview Book Review
Philip G. Ryken's book, Christian Worldview a Student's Guide, gives a basic understanding of what
a worldview is and what the Christian worldview presents, along with its importance. According to
Ryken, a worldview is "a fundamental perspective on the world that shapes the way we live"
(Ryken, 2013, p. 17). It is the structure of our understanding, the way we look at life, the framework
of beliefs and convictions, and the meaning of human existence. (pp. 19–20). A worldview has so
much culture–shaping influence because it is not merely a private perspective but more communal
(p. 21). This is especially true for the Christian worldview because it connects all believers
everywhere. Ryken explains that a properly Christian view of the world engages the whole person,
the body, heart, mind, and soul, and is directed to the glory of God (p. 28). Ryken presents the
Christian worldview in four categories or four distinct stories that are used to explain the human
experience. When we apply a Christian worldview we "gain God's perspective on why any
particular thing was made in the first place," which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Multicultural And Social Justice Competencies (MSJCC)
Over time, society has become increasingly diverse and globally connected. In order to meet the
needs of an interconnected society, the American Counseling Association (ACA) endorsed the
creation of multicultural and social justice competencies (Ratts, Singh, Butler, Nassar–McMillan, &
McCullough, 2016). The Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies (MSJCC) were
developed in order to showcase the importance of integrating MSJCC into all aspects of the
counseling profession. Originally, these competencies were geared more toward majority
professionals working with minority clients. However, it has become more clear that the range of
diversity is endless and it is not uncommon for privileged clients to be counseled by minority
counseled (Ratts, et al., 2016). To assist mental health care professionals with navigating the
complex issues of power and privilege, diverse cultural world views, and appropriate interventions,
a conceptual model was created (Ratts, et al., 2016). The model is an aspirational, life–long
commitment counselors take that requires constant growth (class notes). It is not something that can

360 Degree Photography Affordances and Constraints
Media has changed vastly over the decades. We have different styles of media, different ways to
view media, and so many different options when it comes to creating media. A recent technology
that has started to gain traction is 360–degree photography. This new technology allows people to
view more than traditional 2–D perspective. With this new way of being able to capture a scene
comes many affordances and constraints.
Being able to capture everything around you, then allow another person to experience entirely the
same scene is something that has never been able to be done before. The technology for 360–degree

Having devices that allow us to put on a headpiece and be put into another reality is a huge step for
media.
With these devices, unfortunately, come many constraints. The content creator has more options for
what the viewer can see, but at the same time it may not be what they want the viewer to see. In
most forms of media today there is a main point that the viewer is observing. 2–D perspective video
creators are able to change perspectives of how the viewer sees the media, but with 360 degrees the
viewer may not see it in the same way the original creator intended. The viewer may even miss main
points entirely because they were looking around and the main point of a video was behind them.
On top of this the viewer may not even be able to watch the video. Many people report nausea when
watching videos in 360 degrees. If there is not a way to ensure people do not feel sick while
watching the videos, that means that this media will be limited by the number of people who are
able to tolerate it. Being able to create the quality of content that is currently available on 2–D
platforms may be difficult could also be an issue. Movie shoots require a lot of people and
equipment, which is all behind the camera when only shooting one perspective. In a 360–movie you
have to make sure you are capturing the things you want and nothing more. There is most likely
going to be more work creating

A Negative View Of Mental Illness
When the phrase "mental illness" is spoken, the immediate thought that pops into the individual's
mind is the extremes such as Schizophrenia, or Bipolar Disorder. However, the majority of mental
disorders fall into the spectrum of quite common disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, or
Obsessive Compulsion Disorder (OCD). Why should the first thing that people think of be
negative? What makes people think this way? Society has a negative view of mental illness because
of media portrayal, the attitudes of individuals, and skepticism, and the novel, The Catcher in the
Rye, makes a connection to these views of the world. In the novel The Catcher in the Rye, written
by J.D. Salinger, the main character Holden Caulfield is clearly disturbed ... Show more content on

A common symptom of depression is lack of concentration which Holden mentions multiple times
throughout the novel (NAMI). "The trouble was, I couldn't concentrate too hot – sometimes it's hard
to concentrate" (169). Another common symptom could be change in movement, referring to
pacing, awkward movements, or in Holden's case, running for no apparent reason. "I don't even
know what I was running for– I guess I just felt like it" (3). A more general view of Holden's
personality reveals that he is extremely pessimistic about life, which is a general checkbox under
"depression". Even though depression may seem likely for young Holden, there may be a more
suitable option: PTSD. Symptoms of this mental disorder may include dissociation, which is a
disconnection from reality, and avoidance, which could include physically or mentally avoiding the
subject (NAMI). An example of dissociation from Holden comes from, once again, feeling like he's

She is torn between Cecil's world of books and conformity and George's world of passion and
nature. This decision is not easy for Lucy to make.
Lucy came really close to marring the wrong man due to her lack of thought. She has grown up and
lived a life of proper existence. However, Lucy possesses passionate qualities they have just been
repressed her entire life. Her only emotion outlet is the piano, in which she prefers dramatic pieces
by Beethoven. She plays the piano in order to let out her frustrations brought on by her surrounding
characters. Lucy is brought up to be proper and not outgoing or passionate. George will eventually
show her how to be passionate and open to new ideas. George is a man that breaks the chains of
conformity to free Lucy's spirit and he does this efficiency.
George kisses Lucy for the second time and he explains that love exists between them. He tells Lucy
that she can not marry Cecil because he does not understand women and will never understand
Lucy. George also explains that Cecil only thinks that he loves but in actuality only wants her for an
ornament. George, on the other hand, wants her as his partner in the great adventure of life. Lucy
has lied to herself and to everyone else around her until she is eventually cornered into tearfully
admitting her love for George.

The Article Being Poor, Black And Americ Impact Of...
Introduction
The article Being Poor, Black and American: The Impact of Political, Economic, and Cultural
Forces written by William Julius Wilson is about the struggles and inequalities African Americans
living in poverty encounter. Wilson discussed political, economic and cultural forces that have an
impact on American impoverished communities. The author suggested the natural disaster of
Hurricane Katrina brought the media and world attention to poverty in the United States. Prior to
Katrina, the author believes Americans did not focus or sympathize with poor communities. This
unsympathetic attitude stems from the belief that people are poor because they did not work hard
enough, or are not doing anything to get out of that situation. After Katrina, Americans started to
notice and care about the impoverished communities because the hurricane was a natural disaster
and out of their control. Overall, the author explains how politics, economics and cultures forced
many families into poverty, and diminishes the idea that people live in poverty because of their own
shortcomings.
Political Force
The author explained how the government established policies and initiatives that created ghettos
and suburbs. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is a program that helped citizens become
homeowners by lending loans. However, only certain neighborhoods qualified for those loans.
Research and data were used to prove that certain areas were considered a loss of investment. The

Gender Inequality And The Corporate World : How Do You...
Gender Inequality in the Corporate World How do you feel about women holding higher positions
within corporations? In today's society, there are several inequalities between women and men.
These inequalities between women and men have been around since the beginning of time and will
always be a factor. Gender inequality can be seen in many different ways across our society today.
One major area that this inequality can be seen is in the workforce. There are many women who
have jobs in today's society, but there are not a lot of chances for women to obtain higher positions.
Women do not receive the same chances to hold high positions within corporations as men do.
Women who are in the workforce are constantly having to choose between work and family. Women
also feel the need for whole–self authenticity, which means that one is true to one's own personality
and character even against external pressures. In this scenario, people are themselves at work as
they are in their private life. Gender inequality in the workplace is a serious issue that affects
women socially, economically, and physically. Gender inequality is the unequal treatment of
individuals based on their gender. Ensuring gender inequalities in the workplace would include
equal pay among men and women for the same type of job performed. Another type of equal
treatment is the removal of any barriers so women can participate equally in the workforce.
Allowing women full access to all occupations,

Death Is The Worst Thing
There is one thing in this world that no one can escape, that everyone fears, and makes people who
are close to that person miserable, and that is death. Death is the worst thing that can ever happen to
a person, and is just as bad for the people who are close to them. There is an emptiness that comes
with the death of a loved one or someone close. That blankness in the world does something to the
people who encompass that person who passed. It changes people, whether it is for better or worse.
Death is a part of life and depending on how people are affected can dictate whether it will leave a
positive or negative change to their life and that conversion happened to me with the death of my
mother, Fran. I can recall the day it happened, like it was yesterday, the air had a certain emptiness
to it. It felt cold, barren, but it just felt like any normal rough day, where everything would not go
your way. I arrived home from hockey practice like I do every Thursday with my father and was
ready to lay down before I did my homework. Then we got the call and we bolted to the emergency
room at Mercy Hospital. The nurse took us into a waiting room and we heard the heartbreaking
news from the physician and the room went still. It was not a typical quiet but so quiet that you
could almost hear your heart pounding out of your chest. When we saw my Mother, and we
shockingly gazed what the car crash did to her it was a completely eye–opening. This could not be

Essay On Frankenstein Perspective
Point–of–view and perspective are very influential tools. Seeing different perspectives can change
another person or observer's perspective. Thoughts and experiences influence perspective heavily.
We can see this in our political climate, in psychology, and the way people treat one another based
on their experiences, thoughts, and previous actions. This carries on to Frankenstein is the excerpt;
he has a very heavily varied perspective than those of the villagers', and there is a distinct difference
in thought. Readers learn the thoughts going through Frankenstein's mind, as well as his good deeds,
actions, and curiosity with a will to learn and discover. If the story were to be told from the point of
view of a villager, it would probably be very negative and completely different to Frankenstein's
perspective.
Actions are very important in telling what something or someone is like. Future actions can be
estimated by someone's previous actions; actions usually reflect the character and personality of
someone. Positive actions are almost always associated with a good–hearted, positive person, and
negative actions usually correspond with wretched, wicked, fearful, hateful, and negative people.
These staples of action and character seem to apply to Frankenstein as well. In paragraphs 4–6, he
discovers that the family he usually observes suffers from poverty. What's amazing is that when he
heard and understood this, he refrained from taking their food again. For a monster who

There Is Always Two Sides Of A Story Analysis
"There is always two sides to a story" is a common saying but when it comes to literature, the side
of the story that is told depends on the narrator. Stories written in first person point of view usually
have an unreliable narrator. This is mainly due to the fact that all of the information about the events
in the story only come from one side. The unreliability of first person narrative is shown in the three
stories, "A&P" by John Updike, "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe, and "Young Man
on Sixth Avenue" by Mark Halliday. The narrators are influenced by the time period they live in
since the social norms of that time impact their actions. They are also motivated by their own
personal emotions which influence how the narrators see ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The audience only gets to see the other characters based on the narrator's opinions. Other factors
such as age and time period affect the narrators' points of views as well. For example, Sammy is a
teenage boy that idolizes the three girls that walk into A&P. Since the girls are pretty and in bathing
suits, this seems like a natural reaction from someone like Sammy. Had the story been told from
someone else's point of view, they might not have described the girls the same way. For Montresor
and the narrator in "Man on Sixth Avenue", the time period that their stories take place in are a
prominent factor in how they act, 1800 Italy and early 1900 New York City respectively. Montresor
most likely would not have attempted murder on Fortunato had the story been set in modern times.
The man in "Man on Sixth Avenue" would also most likely explained his experience in New York
City much differently if he had been there in a different time period. All of these other story
elements affect the way that each narrator tells the story and how the audience will feel about the
story subsequently. First person narrative limits the audience's ability to see all sides of a story, but
not knowing every detail of every character makes a story that much more

What Are The Four Primary Types Of Human Adaptation?
Chapter 1. 4. What are the four primary types of human adaptation? Why has their interrelationship
been particularly important for the human species? Anthropology recognizes four primary types of
human adaptation: genetic change, developmental adjustment, acclimatization and cultural
adaptation. Individuals may develop a successful adaptation with the help of biological evolution.
i.e. genetic change, that is caused by the constant environmental stress, experienced by many
generations. It is a well–known fact that those who can respond to certain stresses have better
chances to survive longer and pass on their dominant genes to the future generations. Such evolution
is also known as the natural selection. For example, if some individuals live in malaria–endemic
areas for many years, their descendants will probably inherit the immunity to such horrible disease.
The second type of adaptation, developmental adjustment, is the physiological change that occurs in
the early childhood and is irreversible when a person reaches the adulthood. As a matter of fact, the
developmental adjustment may be caused both by specific cultural practices and natural
environmental issues. An example of the cultural practices is the Chinese custom, currently illegal,
according to which it was necessary to tightly wrap the feet of young females in order to block the
normal growth (O'Neil n.d.). Acclimatization, the third type of adaptation, unlike the previous type,
is reversible. Such adaptation may

A Pixel shift method allows for high resolution imaging, and by specifying the measurement point
on a high–resolution image, the measurement is taken at an increased accuracy. This along–side the
automatic edge detection function, reduces measurement discrepancies between users. Along with
the ability to make accurate measurements quickly, the VHX–6000 allows for clean and
contamination analysis in line with ISO–16232 Standards . The sample surface image is divided into
multiple regions and these regions are analysed individually, which allows for large areas to be
contamination analysed. If using a high–resolution microscope lens with a large depth of field,
highly precise measurements of samples can be taken down to 1m. This allows for calculations
such as porosity areas, volume fraction of defects etc. If a sample surface has height variations a
fully focused image can be obtained instantaneously by bringing together images taken over a range
of focal planes. This focal position data can then be used to produce a three–dimensional model.
The VHX–6000 can create a three–dimensional image, by using a depth from defocus method by
calculating height and analysing extremely small changes in texture. Even within areas of low
contrast or under and over saturated pixels can be accurately calculated unlike when imaged using
conventional microscope methods such

Negative View Of Revenge In Hamlet
In Shakespeare's Hamlet, revenge is the driving force behind the plot. Hamlet is charged with
avenging his father's murder at the hands of his uncle and quickly this quest affects everyone in his
life. Eventually, almost everyone in the play dies as a result of Hamlet's quest for vengeance. At
first, however, Hamlet's indecision over killing his uncle seems to be the source of trouble, not the
revenge itself. He cannot decide what he wants, and that has a detrimental effect on the people
around him. When Laertes returns after the death Polonius, the audience is given a character like
Hamlet but without the indecision. However, his quick corruption by Claudius eventually shows he
is not the positive character initially introduced. Overall, the play presents a negative view of
revenge by showing that even Laertes, who is without Hamlet's issues, is damaged by it.
At the beginning of the play, Hamlet's indecision causes his troubles, not revenge. He is more
inclined to speak about doing something than actually do it, and from the beginning shows
hesitation towards the concept of revenge. At first, he is thrown into a frenzy by his conversation
with the ghost. However, the audience sees that two months later, he is yet to make any progress
towards killing Claudius. Instead, he is bouncing back between mania and depression, frustrated
with himself that he cannot take any action, but more preoccupied with his anger at his mother and
his friends. He scolds himself for being "unpregnant" of his cause, but also declares that an actor
would "drown the stage with tears" if put in his position (II, ii). He believes he needs to kill his
uncle but is also unwilling to take action, preferring to speak about his thoughts on Gertrude and
Claudius' incestuous relationship. Also contributing to Hamlet's indecision is the contrast between
his image of what an avenger should look like and his own self–image. He pictures "rugged
Pyrrhus," with "sable arms" and who is "roasted in wrath and fire," when he thinks of an avenger.
This godlike figure is in contrast with his self–image; in his first soliloquy, he says Claudius is "no
more like my father than I to Hercules" (I, ii). To himself, Hamlet is as far away from heroic or
godlike

Negative Views Of Foreign Imperialism
Over the course of a few years, overseas expansionism has done nothing but worsen who we are as
a country. Our involvement into the Spanish American War, when we acquired the Philippines, and
the out comes even after have shown that overseas expansionism was nothing but negative towards
us. This negativity has shaped the negative views of supporters and non–supporters of overseas
expansionism.
In doc 1, we see that an African American newspaper writer writes an article on the war. The
newspaper seems to be a newspaper for blacks so the writer targets black readers as well. In the
article, the writer talks about how hard times are and how they've never been in a situation like the
Spanish American War. He states that allowing African Americans to the join the military to fight
this war is the key to this wars success. He supports blacks joining the military and also tries to
encourage blacks to not be afraid and join. It's believed that having them join can end the racial hate
between the whites and the blacks therefore, overseas expansion would result in positivity. Joining
together as forces can help unite all in this war to end all wars. They thought that maybe after the
war the United States would accept every color and not discriminate any longer.

The Negative View of Society in Wilfred Owen's Poetry Essay
Dulce et Decorum est and Anthem for Doomed Youth are both written by Wilfred Owen, and both
are written to show "the war [World War I] and the pity of war". Owen does this by regaling very
sad and often shocking poems that I believe are very effective in delivering their purpose. Both
poems present negative views of society through tone and metaphors and Dulce et Decorum est also
uses similes.
A poem that presents a negative view on society is Dulce et Decorum est. It is a satirical poem about
the old Latin saying it is entitled after. Through this poem Owen is trying to tell us that this old
saying is a lie, and that war is much less glorious than many adults make it out to be. From the very
first line "Bent double, like old beggars ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The metaphors "the blood come gargling from the froth–corrupted lungs" and "vile, incurable sores
on innocent tongues" have the same effect as the similes through their unpleasant words; they are
there to shock you, and they are so haunting that they amplify the effect of the satirical ending
"Dulce et Decorum est pro patria mori.", which means 'it is sweet and fitting to die for your
country'. Owen presents society negatively through this poem because in the poem we see that
adults are lying to young men in order to get them to go to war, for example by using the saying
"Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori". By showing us how gruesome the war is, and then by
explaining to us that the adults are telling children that it is sweet and fitting to die for your country,
Owen is trying to show how society is almost tricking teenagers into wanting to go fight in the war.
This obviously presents a negative view on society, but it serves Owen's purpose of wanting to show
the pity of war.
Another poem which presents a negative view on society is Anthem for Doomed Youth. It is written
as an extended metaphor for a soldier's funeral rites during World War I. In this poem Owen reminds
the reader that every one of the millions who died in the war was an individual, and each death
brought with it immeasurable sadness and loss. It is written in two stanzas and first

Confetti Girl Vs Tortilla Sun
Tension is a major aspect of literature that can be a great tactic to intrigue readers and enhance one's
writing. Authors have a variety of different ways to build up tension, one of which is comparing
points of view such as when there is an argument. When characters disagree on something and their
points of view are compared, the intensity of the story or piece rises. This occurs in the two pieces,
"Confetti Girl" and "Tortilla Sun" where the narrator and parent of the narrator disagree and their
contrasting points of views can easily be shown to build tension and intensity. Differences in point
of view in a writing piece can build tension throughout the piece such as in the two stories, "Confetti
Girl" and "Tortilla Sun".

The two stories, "Tortilla Sun", and "Confetti Girl" are two examples of how different point of
views build tension. In both stories, the narrator has a disagreement with their parent and instead of
making an effort to resolve it, they simply stick to what they believe is right and as the story passes
by, the tension builds. In "Confetti Girl", the narrator feels unimportant because she feels her father
only cares about his books and education and less about his daughter which builds the conflict
because she feel worse and worse. The same concept can be applied to "Tortilla Sun", where the
narrator's parent is moving to another country to finish school and in doing so, is making an attempt
to improve the lives for themselves and their child. However, the narrator feels the parent is
abandoning them and and is making the parent seem selfish which results in the conflict and the
tension rising. A lesson that could be learned from these two pieces is that if you make no attempt to
understand someone's point of view of a topic, the conflict will remain just the way it is and the
world already has enough conflict in

Positive and Negative Views of Nursing Homes
As the population of the United States increases so will our older adult population. This population
consists of individuals 65 years old and above. " By 2030, the number of United States adults age 65
and older will more than double to about 71 million (CDC, 2012). This suggests that more people of
older age will need services whether medical, financial, etc. These services include nursing homes,
which are private and state institutions that provide residential accommodations with healthcare.
However, nursing homes can provide resident accommodations for older individuals who are still
under the age of 65, but that is only a minute portion of the residents that reside in these facilities.
According to the National Care Planning Council, 91 percent of the 1,650,000 United States nursing
home residents are over the age of 65. With the future increase of older adults there will be a need to
place them in safe and reliable facilities that provide healthcare for when and if they can no longer
care for themselves, have family to care for them, or either cannot afford personal care at home.

The positive and negative views and ideas of what a nursing home is and does for an older adult

Views Of Feanagraphy : A Negative View Of Pornography
A negative view of pornography is what many people have and even myself; however, learning the
history and why many directors decide to make the erotic films changed my way of looking at them.
Learning not only about the erotic films but also the other forms of sources like literature, images,
and art. The fact that these other sources of art are accepted to in society, but when it comes to film
it is totally unacceptable. Starting off with the film 9 Songs to ending with Shortbus has been an
eye–opener to see how my views and way of thinking went out the window. When I first started the
class I didn't know what to expect from what I would be watching and learning. After even watching
my first erotic film, 9 Songs, was really interesting. I even remember that when my roommate
would walk in the I would pause and make sure she didn't see my screen. I even wrote this on my
forum, When I think of pornography I think of a video or some sort of media content of sex. It is
media content that people can watch to get themselves arouse or for pleasure. It is something that
can identify your sexuality. Now I think it is an art of expression to show the world what is natural
and to tackle down all the taboos. In this film, we follow the life of two people who are in a
relationship and we see every element that happens in the relationship. If that means them going to
concerts, eating, exploring the city, and even being intimate. Thinking that something that should
not be talked about outside the bedroom is what caused the negative view of porn. In the Secret
Museum documentary, we find out that the ancient Romans were not ashamed of their sexuality and
they were open about it. When the Victorians uncovered Pompeii, they were disgusted by the
findings and even hid the items they found. I thought the same way that certain things were not to be
discussed. I grew up in a Hispanic were sex is not a topic that is talked about and even growing in a
Catholic home where chastity is praised. I remember being told that thinking of sex was a sin. I
think this shaped my idea of what I thought porn was. Just content to make people wet and complete
their satisfaction. I saw it as a thing that was not good and gave people the wrong

The Negative Speech : The Views Of Donald Trump In The Anthem
Across the nation many people hold strong views regarding athletes kneeling during the National
Anthem. In 2016, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick used his platform as an athlete and influential
figure to make a stand against the exceedingly high volume of police brutality and injustices seen
across the country. Soon enough, different opinions were developing causing a divide within the
nation. Many believe kneeling during our country's national anthem is considered to be unamerican
and unpatriotic. Rather, it shows lack of respect to the country, the flag, and the military. President
Donald Trump has frequently fought with the NFL over the national anthem protests, stating if any
"son of a bitch" protests during the national anthem they should be "fired" or benched. Not only has
our president expressed abrupt and extreme views on the subject, but team owners used their
positions to end this controversy while thanking Trump for "remind[ing] [them] about game ops
policy." Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said, "If there's anything that is disrespectful to the flag,
then we will not play."Jones also states that teams "need consequences" if found kneeling during the
anthem (Jones). On the contrary, those who take part in protesting the national anthem represent a
bigger cause; they're not aiming to disrespect the flag but desire something greater. These athletes
are looking for change. Like Kaepernick, "[they refuse] to stand up to show pride in a flag for a
country that oppresses black people and people of color." Many argue that they are not only
expressing their first amendment rights, but "they're showing respect to American values with an
implicit demand that [they] do more than pay them lip service" (Tatum). Nate Boyer, former US
Army Green Beret, who had previously assured Kaepernick to kneel rather than sit during our
country's National Anthem, said there's a difference between the two: "I want Colin Kaepernick and
every American to stand because they want to stand, but I want them all to stand. I'm more
interested if someone is taking a knee because they really care about something than the guy in the

Persuasive Essay : The Dangers Of Phones In The Classroom
Picture this, you're in a classroom and your phone goes off which causes a distraction. Your teacher
takes it away, but with her taking it away how are you going to do your work on google classroom?
Plus there are no computers available. For example, a couple of weeks ago Mount Olive High
School had no laptops for inventory. So is a classroom a place that a phone should be welcomed in?
Or does it not belong in a classroom? The opportunity to have phones in class is great because they
are a useful tool. They provide easy access research, learning games/apps, calculators, agenda, and
etc. In case of an emergency, a student can reach out to grab their phone to call home or their
parents/guardian. The emergency could be them forgetting to bring in something important, asking
questions for their parents, and etc. Also, phones lets students to be organized with school work and
to stay on task. For example, they can used for marking down any important reminders so they can
get notifications, jot down notes for studying, and take pictures of documents in case they aren't
going to be in the next day. Another benefit that phones offers is to make students study more.
Lastly, the phones can avoid double standards. Yes not all students think the same way, but some
students do feel this way. Having to rights to use phones and teachers too everyone is satisfied, yet if
only a teacher uses theirs then some students can start to get envy, and think that the school is not
being fair with their rules. Once you hear the positive sides about phones in classrooms, you start to
think it´s a bright idea. Yes phones are a helpful usage in a classroom, but there are negative reasons
having phones in classroom. To begin with, students can be immature when they do have phones in
their possession. Jumping into the first reason, one of the biggest reason why phones are permitted
is cheating. Cheating on their work or test/quizzes, since they have the internet right at their
fingertips. The phones can cause a distraction to students, as the ringer goes off or a sound
notification everyone turns around to see who or what it was. Plus, when the teachers are giving
lessons and the students have no idea what was going on because they were

Christian Worldview Curriculum

  • 1. Christian Worldview Curriculum In today's world, there are an insurmountable number of avenues in which society's worldviews are influenced. With the continued advances of technological innovations, mainstream media can infiltrate through music, social media, etc., and thus discreetly influence our worldview in a multitude of ways. Moreover, children today are more vulnerable than ever before as these influences, often familiarly disguised, can manipulate their ideals and thereby influence their worldview. Therefore, it is imperative that a Biblical foundation, thus worldview is established early. Hence, the significance of integrating a Biblical worldview into the curriculum, as it ensures that children have a sound view. What is a worldview? A worldview is a person's perception and/or belief of things, such as the reason for our existence and what is or is not reality. Regardless of creed, ethnicity, or race, "people of all ages from all across the world have a worldview, which begins its development from the very first interaction they have with those around them" (MacCullough, 2016).These ideas, which our influenced by our upbringing, experiences, as well as through mainstream media outlets, essentially cultivate the ideas we generate regarding all that encompasses life's realities, which thereby influences our actions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For instance, a biology teacher can show videos of the process of how life begins. By showing how after fertilization the zygote's cells continue to multiply until it ultimately attaches and continues its development, proves beyond a doubt that life begins at conception. With today's society driven to remove God and thrive in secularism, respect for life is non–existent. Therefore, "biblical worldview integration is essential, as Scripture is needed to enlighten and, thus restore their worldview" (MacCullough, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. ' Mexican Views Of The U. S. Turn Sharply Negative? In the survey, "Mexican Views of the U.S. Turn Sharply Negative," by Margaret Vice and Hanyu Chwe, the Pew Research Center assesses Mexico's sentiments toward the United States. The survey focused on three general areas: dramatic shifts in how Mexicans see the United States, Mexican pessimism about their country's direction, and poor ratings for Pena Nieto and political parties. The target population, the group to whom the survey was intended to generalize, was the entire adult, those eighteen years and older, Mexican population (excluding insecure areas). The sample was drawn from 1,000 individuals. The survey was fielded March 2nd to April 10th, 2017. The survey consisted of face to face interviews conducted in Spanish, weighting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Without a sample that has been slected from random selection as probability samples are, one cannot generalize. Coverage error, the failure to give some persons in a target population a chance to be selected into the sample, was present in the survey because insecure areas were not represented. The survey attempted to mitigate coverage errors by conducting face to face interviews to eliminate the coverage bias introduced by phone interviews. The response rate was not reported in the methodology page. However, if the response rate was 25%, that would indicate that the 1,000– sample size was taken from 4,000 individuals. Whether response rate affects data quality is a matter of debate, yet, according to Hillygus, "multiple studies have found that lower response rates do not indicate the results are inaccurate" (Hillygus 42). The role response rates have on the accuracy of results is uncertain, but inclusion of it provides insight into the quality of the methods. Similarly, there exist several sources for measurement of error: the questionnaire, the data collection method, the interviewer, and the respondent. The questionnaire utilized was not provided in the report. Therefore, evaluation of the question wording effects and the response categories for questions cannot be made. However, according to the Pew Research, translation was carefully cared out in a multi–step process and data collection was meticulously recorded. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Standing On The Rooftop Of A Building Standing on the rooftop of a building in a city can give you the feeling that you can view the whole world from where you stand. Worldviews differ for every individual, shaped by their values, biases, prejudices, loves, commitments, and fears as mine is. Developed through experience worldviews shift, as I expect mine will many times. A large component of your worldviews are the values you hold, something that event affect other things that shape your worldview. Over the past 8 ½ months my world view has changed similarly to our Earth's rotation, we do not feel it but we know it is happening and given time we can see of the stages that occurred. I feel this is the case for many people and is a human condition that can be suppressed if a person realizes the bias has developed into a negative prejudice. Prejudices are rooted in a person's sense of justice, which is most likely why I have a prejudice against negative and unkind people. Because I have such a strong value of kindness I have developed a slight prejudice towards those who do not share this value though I try my best to not act upon this prejudice. The contrasting aspect of the prejudices contained in my worldview are my loves. What a person loves is such a broad subject it can mean anything from a person to a meal to a color. Some of my loves include my family, friends, food, my cat, myself, and hope that can be found when you least expect it. Each one of these things are large parts of my life that have influenced my life in a positive way and this positive influence is most likely why I have come to love them so much. Of course I love other things like books I have read like: Harry Potter, Les Miserables, and Stephen Hawking's Brief History. Or shows I watch like: Supernatural, Sherlock, Criminal Minds, and Merlin. Or even my sweatpants, the color blue, and my soccer cleats. But all of these things have a lesser impact on my life even though I love them. In this way a person's loves shape their core values and yet are also shaped by those values. • 4. Developing A Worldview Worldview is your perspective on events and issues. Developing a perspective takes reflection on what you read, learn, and experience firsthand. One might expect to find influences from parents, siblings, teachers, friends, acquaintances, the clergy, co–workers, etc., in an individual's worldview. Worldview can also be formed by family's economic status, level of education, racial or ethnic background, and their expectations. Overall, all these factors are a piece of an individual's worldview. The community should be doing everything they can to protect the environment because polluting the ocean and cutting down the forests will just create more problems in the near future, not just for the environment, but also for our need of resources. There has been news and articles on how our resources are becoming scarce, such as clean drinking water and habitats for the wildlife, which leads to my opinion of protecting them from further damage. If we did not have this issue, the environment and society would not have to struggle with limiting resources. My major influences on my opinion is the surroundings I see going on everyday in my environment, as well as how my parents raised my morals to be. Based on what my parents have taught me, we should never be wasteful of our resources. Ever since I was a kid, my parents always made me finish all my food and if I did not finish it; I would be in big trouble obviously and had to sit there till I finished all of my food. This also led to the mindset that there are other people out there that do not have as much resources depending on the environment they live in. The area that I grew up in has not always been so neat, therefore I would always go to the volunteering events or any other event that would improve the environment that we are living in. • 5. Values, Culture And Worldviews Should Matter At Public... According to our own personal experiences we view the world in a different way, not everyone is the same and everyone is unique in their own way. Values, culture and worldviews are some of the most important features that differentiate one from another whether be through a business aspect, a primary or secondary socialization aspect (where we learn from our parents and what we are taught by institutions on what is the correct way to live) or even through cultural and social norms. The aim of this topic is to show why values, culture and worldviews should matter to public relations (PR). Firstly the oxford dictionary defines culture as "The attitudes and behavior characteristics of a particular social group", this places prominence on the idea that each social group respond to messages differently, culture as a concept is something that differentiates how groups of people make sense of their experiences and by focusing on a particular social groups attitude and behavior it is easier for PR practitioner's (PRP's) to identify a specific target audience. Banks (2000,p20) notes that PR practices may initiate the creation of cultural identities in the sense that they create a persona for an organization that may be deemed as credible and plausible to their target audience and or influencing communication messages made by the public in order to promote social change for example when influencing government policy e.g. the bailiffs campaign put together by the citizen ... • 6. Negative Views Of Senior Management Problem Statement Recently, there has been some restructuring made in our organization, resulting in many negative views of Senior Management. Important and positions were eliminated, such as Assistant Team Leads, Directions, and even our Chief Financial Officer. Among those positions, there were several others deem as unnecessary support staff that we also eliminated. Shortly after, our Human Resources Manager voluntarily left. Additionally, many full–time team employees were let go, leaving a feeling of uncertainty and fear for jobs throughout the remaining employees. Many of the remaining employees were left with the mentality of "Who is next to go?" This wouldn't be that large of a problem, however, these individuals have not been replaced, over six months later. It is evident that these staffing issues are causing strain across all levels of the organization. Before this major restructuring the company had close to 200 employees. All departments were affected by the layoffs, and the company reduced to around 130 and the number has steadily declined in the last 6 months to level out at about 100. Internally, the approximate 50% decline of workforce has had a significant impact on remaining employees. It has disrupted the everyday work functions for those individuals. In addition to feeling survivor's guilt after such a large and sudden layoff, it has also left employees feeling very angry. • 7. • Why Do Many Take A Negative View Of Bureaucracy? Why do many take a negative view of bureaucracy? In this essay, I will discuss the variables that shape people's minds about the role of bureaucracy. In the first section of this paper I will define bureaucracy with special emphasis on the United States (U.S.) government. Then, in the second section of this paper, I will list and analyze the factors that people perceive as negative in the development of bureaucracy. Lastly, in the last section of this paper, I will mention a few elements that the correct exercise of bureaucracy does right. Bureaucracy is the facial representation of the American government to the common man. We interact with it on daily basis such as when we go to DMV for a license, or at the Board of Elections when registering for voting or when filling out an IRS form to pay our taxes. Many people perceive the term bureaucracy with negative attachments to it due to previous experiences while dealing with it. Many others also believe that the bureaucracy machinery is only a waste of money, time and resources due to its huge volume and few achievements. None of them are wrong as dealing with bureaucratic processes is a rather tedious task which usually involves countless hours and thus money. However, in large societies (like the American) there is the need to implement a system capable of following guidelines, structures, policies, etc. It is like having the white painted lines on the highway to distinguish one lane from the other. • 8. Developing Negative Views Through Judgments Developing negative views through judgments is a form of stereotypical evidence known to be caused by attribution biases. Stereotypes are formed when we judge specific types of people based on their behaviour, views and opinions. When trying to understand others we may make mistakes when judging and these become biases in attribution. These negative views we make can include anger, anxiety and hostility and Martinko et al. (2006; as cited in Martinko, Harvey & Douglas, 2007) argued it is highly likely to feel these emotions in relation to attribution biases. Jones and Harris (1967) found this when presenting American subjects with essays either for or against the Castro government in Cuba, with the task being to estimate the writer's true opinion towards this. Subjects were informed the writers were either told which argument to focus on as part of a political exam or chose themselves. The findings revealed though attention was paid to the situation (whether the writer had a choice) it was significantly underestimated indicating the participants were influenced by the views expressed by the writer who was allowed to choose. Consequently negative judgments may form if the strong influential views are distracting and prominent thus causing situational factors to be forgotten. A similar study by Fein, Hilton and Miller (1990; as cited in Eysenck, 2002) also asked participants to read a student essay on a controversial topic. The student was again assigned to write in favour or against, or they chose what view to argue knowing the professor marking it had strong views about it. Participants were later told this student's view was the same as the professor. The results showed those who thought the student had been assigned the view made the FAE indicating the expressed view was the student's true view. Additionally those who thought the student had a good reason for hiding their true opinion (in this case pleasing the professor) did not reflect their true opinions. The FAE hence makes ones ... • 10. Sociology Worldviews A worldview is a philosophy and outlook of the world around us typically held by a group or members of society (Funk, 2001). Worldviews and society around us significantly impact the way we view and think about culture and education. The Milne (2013) quote discusses the idea that when children are young they do not have these views on culture and other's beliefs. Children at a young age, have not been exposed to views of others, and therefore are oblivious and innocent to the worldviews and race issues. It does not matter to young children, as "they don't care where they put the colours" (Milne, 2013, p. 6). Normalisation is very prevalent within our society (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, 2003). This normalisation is created by society through views of others and takes on a position of what is normal and what is abnormal in society (Mika, 2017). The dominant group within society is typically considered to be "normal", while those outside of the dominant group classifications, are considered different and abnormal. This causes people from outside of the dominant group to aspire to be part of this "normal" group, as they consider this to be of more benefit than to be placed within the diverse category. Therefore, aspiring to climb higher within the social ladder that has been created through society expectations of normalisation (Theodorou, 2011). This means that it is causing the "other" groups to be put in boxes according to how different their culture and beliefs are from the normal, as opposed to recognising unique cultures as something to be valued. Seeing how the president of the United States is responsible for diplomatic relations between the United States and the world, particularly those with the United Nations. Seeing how there are twenty–two world leaders whom are female, many of which are part of the U.N. I believe his chauvinistic view would jeopardize diplomacy between the U.S. and other countries. I will demonstrate some of his view points about women and how they have affected us as a nation already. In 1991 Trump told Esquire in regards to some bad press, "You know, it really doesn't matter what they write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ***. But she's got to be young and beautiful." To him it would seem as if beauty would outweigh intelligence and other characteristics society deems to be important to run a country. • 13. The I Reasonably Enjoyed Reading The Loudest Duck I reasonably enjoyed reading The Loudest Duck; it was very informative and gave me very different points of view. It hit the ground running with a statistic that as of 2010 there were 13 women and 4 blacks that were CEO's for Fortune 500 companies (Liswood 3). These proportions are drastically lower than what it would be if it followed the population of the U.S. Looking at this simply, it shows that females and blacks (along with other non–dominant groups) are disadvantaged in some way along the path to becoming a CEO of a great company. This is in agreement with the PowerPoint from the Africa and Diaspora event, which showed that blacks and other races were being disproportionally put imprisoned and killed. The Loudest Duck describes the differences between the dominant group and the non–dominant group through the symbolism of the dominant group as an elephant and the non–dominant group as a mouse. The idea is that the elephant doesn't need to pay attention to what the mouse does or care about its thoughts, but the mouse needs to learn the elephant's behavior and the way it reacts in order to survive being around the elephant (Liswood 31– 41). This was a very clear way of explaining the difference and I think it fits the US on many different ways. At a national level many citizens of the US have very little knowledge of what happens in other countries, other than what the media tells us about what the US is doing, but citizens of other countries actually pay ... Simply put, experience affects social connections, period. However, social connections can affect one's experiences through psychological and biological changes. Barbara Fredrickson in her paper Love.2.0: How Our Supreme Emotion Affects Everything We Feel, Think, Do and Become explains how the biology of love and creating bonds can affect a person physically, psychologically and biologically. Once this manifestation takes hold, the two people begin to subconsciously imitate and interpret information like the other person. This subconsciously affects experiences by allowing someone to "walk a mile in someone else's shoes" because the people's "respective brain waves mirror one another...moment by moment–changes the other's mind," (110). These psychological changes, as stated before, leads to a change in perspective since your mirror waves are the same as those of the person whom you have bonded with. Moreover, behaviors that have arisen from social connections can greatly influence and experience. Behavior can define an experience because it determines how others will interpret this experience. A common example of this is after a person loses someone whom they care about. Often times, people will say that death has changed the person. This is primarily because people tend to act rash and irrational while maintaining a negative mentality shortly after a loved one's passing. This grieving period has been seen to change people's personality as well as their behavior. We can draw a parallel with children and Furbies. In the late 90's, Furbies were popular toys that children would talk to and get a response (Turkle 467). The fact that these toys were always on and had a personality made them a holiday season craze. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 15. Christian Worldview Book Review Philip G. Ryken's book, Christian Worldview a Student's Guide, gives a basic understanding of what a worldview is and what the Christian worldview presents, along with its importance. According to Ryken, a worldview is "a fundamental perspective on the world that shapes the way we live" (Ryken, 2013, p. 17). It is the structure of our understanding, the way we look at life, the framework of beliefs and convictions, and the meaning of human existence. (pp. 19–20). A worldview has so much culture–shaping influence because it is not merely a private perspective but more communal (p. 21). This is especially true for the Christian worldview because it connects all believers everywhere. Ryken explains that a properly Christian view of the world engages the whole person, the body, heart, mind, and soul, and is directed to the glory of God (p. 28). Ryken presents the Christian worldview in four categories or four distinct stories that are used to explain the human experience. In order to meet the needs of an interconnected society, the American Counseling Association (ACA) endorsed the creation of multicultural and social justice competencies (Ratts, Singh, Butler, Nassar–McMillan, & McCullough, 2016). The Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies (MSJCC) were developed in order to showcase the importance of integrating MSJCC into all aspects of the counseling profession. Originally, these competencies were geared more toward majority professionals working with minority clients. However, it has become more clear that the range of diversity is endless and it is not uncommon for privileged clients to be counseled by minority counseled (Ratts, et al., 2016). To assist mental health care professionals with navigating the complex issues of power and privilege, diverse cultural world views, and appropriate interventions, a conceptual model was created (Ratts, et al., 2016). In most forms of media today there is a main point that the viewer is observing. 2–D perspective video creators are able to change perspectives of how the viewer sees the media, but with 360 degrees the viewer may not see it in the same way the original creator intended. Many people report nausea when watching videos in 360 degrees. A Negative View Of Mental Illness When the phrase "mental illness" is spoken, the immediate thought that pops into the individual's mind is the extremes such as Schizophrenia, or Bipolar Disorder. Why should the first thing that people think of be negative? What makes people think this way? Society has a negative view of mental illness because of media portrayal, the attitudes of individuals, and skepticism, and the novel, The Catcher in the Rye, makes a connection to these views of the world. Introduction The article Being Poor, Black and American: The Impact of Political, Economic, and Cultural Forces written by William Julius Wilson is about the struggles and inequalities African Americans living in poverty encounter. Wilson discussed political, economic and cultural forces that have an impact on American impoverished communities. The author suggested the natural disaster of Hurricane Katrina brought the media and world attention to poverty in the United States. Prior to Katrina, the author believes Americans did not focus or sympathize with poor communities. This unsympathetic attitude stems from the belief that people are poor because they did not work hard enough, or are not doing anything to get out of that situation. After Katrina, Americans started to notice and care about the impoverished communities because the hurricane was a natural disaster and out of their control. Overall, the author explains how politics, economics and cultures forced many families into poverty, and diminishes the idea that people live in poverty because of their own shortcomings. Political Force The author explained how the government established policies and initiatives that created ghettos and suburbs. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is a program that helped citizens become homeowners by lending loans. However, only certain neighborhoods qualified for those loans. In today's society, there are several inequalities between women and men. These inequalities between women and men have been around since the beginning of time and will always be a factor. Gender inequality can be seen in many different ways across our society today. One major area that this inequality can be seen is in the workforce. There are many women who have jobs in today's society, but there are not a lot of chances for women to obtain higher positions. Women do not receive the same chances to hold high positions within corporations as men do. Women who are in the workforce are constantly having to choose between work and family. Thoughts and experiences influence perspective heavily. We can see this in our political climate, in psychology, and the way people treat one another based on their experiences, thoughts, and previous actions. This carries on to Frankenstein is the excerpt; he has a very heavily varied perspective than those of the villagers', and there is a distinct difference in thought. Readers learn the thoughts going through Frankenstein's mind, as well as his good deeds, actions, and curiosity with a will to learn and discover. If the story were to be told from the point of view of a villager, it would probably be very negative and completely different to Frankenstein's perspective. Actions are very important in telling what something or someone is like. There Is Always Two Sides Of A Story Analysis "There is always two sides to a story" is a common saying but when it comes to literature, the side of the story that is told depends on the narrator. Stories written in first person point of view usually have an unreliable narrator. This is mainly due to the fact that all of the information about the events in the story only come from one side. The unreliability of first person narrative is shown in the three stories, "A&P" by John Updike, "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe, and "Young Man on Sixth Avenue" by Mark Halliday. Had the story been told from someone else's point of view, they might not have described the girls the same way. For Montresor and the narrator in "Man on Sixth Avenue", the time period that their stories take place in are a prominent factor in how they act, 1800 Italy and early 1900 New York City respectively. Montresor most likely would not have attempted murder on Fortunato had the story been set in modern times. The man in "Man on Sixth Avenue" would also most likely explained his experience in New York City much differently if he had been there in a different time period. • 29. What Are The Four Primary Types Of Human Adaptation? Chapter 1. 4. What are the four primary types of human adaptation? Why has their interrelationship been particularly important for the human species? Anthropology recognizes four primary types of human adaptation: genetic change, developmental adjustment, acclimatization and cultural adaptation. Individuals may develop a successful adaptation with the help of biological evolution. i.e. genetic change, that is caused by the constant environmental stress, experienced by many generations. It is a well–known fact that those who can respond to certain stresses have better chances to survive longer and pass on their dominant genes to the future generations. Such evolution is also known as the natural selection. For example, if some individuals live in malaria–endemic areas for many years, their descendants will probably inherit the immunity to such horrible disease. The second type of adaptation, developmental adjustment, is the physiological change that occurs in the early childhood and is irreversible when a person reaches the adulthood. As a matter of fact, the developmental adjustment may be caused both by specific cultural practices and natural environmental issues. An example of the cultural practices is the Chinese custom, currently illegal, according to which it was necessary to tightly wrap the feet of young females in order to block the normal growth (O'Neil n.d.). • 31. Negative View Of Revenge In Hamlet In Shakespeare's Hamlet, revenge is the driving force behind the plot. Hamlet is charged with avenging his father's murder at the hands of his uncle and quickly this quest affects everyone in his life. Eventually, almost everyone in the play dies as a result of Hamlet's quest for vengeance. At first, however, Hamlet's indecision over killing his uncle seems to be the source of trouble, not the revenge itself. He cannot decide what he wants, and that has a detrimental effect on the people around him. When Laertes returns after the death Polonius, the audience is given a character like Hamlet but without the indecision. However, his quick corruption by Claudius eventually shows he is not the positive character initially introduced. Overall, the play presents a negative view of revenge by showing that even Laertes, who is without Hamlet's issues, is damaged by it. At the beginning of the play, Hamlet's indecision causes his troubles, not revenge. He is more inclined to speak about doing something than actually do it, and from the beginning shows hesitation towards the concept of revenge. At first, he is thrown into a frenzy by his conversation with the ghost. However, the audience sees that two months later, he is yet to make any progress towards killing Claudius. Instead, he is bouncing back between mania and depression, frustrated with himself that he cannot take any action, but more preoccupied with his anger at his mother and his friends. He scolds himself for being "unpregnant" of his cause, but also declares that an actor would "drown the stage with tears" if put in his position (II, ii). He believes he needs to kill his uncle but is also unwilling to take action, preferring to speak about his thoughts on Gertrude and Claudius' incestuous relationship. Also contributing to Hamlet's indecision is the contrast between his image of what an avenger should look like and his own self–image. He pictures "rugged Pyrrhus," with "sable arms" and who is "roasted in wrath and fire," when he thinks of an avenger. This godlike figure is in contrast with his self–image; in his first soliloquy, he says Claudius is "no more like my father than I to Hercules" (I, ii). In the article, the writer talks about how hard times are and how they've never been in a situation like the Spanish American War. He states that allowing African Americans to the join the military to fight this war is the key to this wars success. He supports blacks joining the military and also tries to encourage blacks to not be afraid and join. It's believed that having them join can end the racial hate between the whites and the blacks therefore, overseas expansion would result in positivity. Joining together as forces can help unite all in this war to end all wars. They thought that maybe after the war the United States would accept every color and not discriminate any longer. We as the United States, grow supporting this dogma that states that all men are created equal doc 2. We continue to support this until its time to support and test this idea, as this is where we fail. A professor at Yale ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. The Negative View of Society in Wilfred Owen's Poetry Essay Dulce et Decorum est and Anthem for Doomed Youth are both written by Wilfred Owen, and both are written to show "the war [World War I] and the pity of war". Owen does this by regaling very sad and often shocking poems that I believe are very effective in delivering their purpose. Both poems present negative views of society through tone and metaphors and Dulce et Decorum est also uses similes. A poem that presents a negative view on society is Dulce et Decorum est. It is a satirical poem about the old Latin saying it is entitled after. Through this poem Owen is trying to tell us that this old saying is a lie, and that war is much less glorious than many adults make it out to be. From the very first line "Bent double, like old beggars ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The metaphors "the blood come gargling from the froth–corrupted lungs" and "vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues" have the same effect as the similes through their unpleasant words; they are there to shock you, and they are so haunting that they amplify the effect of the satirical ending "Dulce et Decorum est pro patria mori.", which means 'it is sweet and fitting to die for your country'. Owen presents society negatively through this poem because in the poem we see that adults are lying to young men in order to get them to go to war, for example by using the saying "Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori". By showing us how gruesome the war is, and then by explaining to us that the adults are telling children that it is sweet and fitting to die for your country, Owen is trying to show how society is almost tricking teenagers into wanting to go fight in the war. This obviously presents a negative view on society, but it serves Owen's purpose of wanting to show the pity of war. Another poem which presents a negative view on society is Anthem for Doomed Youth. It is written as an extended metaphor for a soldier's funeral rites during World War I. In this poem Owen reminds the reader that every one of the millions who died in the war was an individual, and each death brought with it immeasurable sadness and loss. It is written in two stanzas and first ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Confetti Girl Vs Tortilla Sun Tension is a major aspect of literature that can be a great tactic to intrigue readers and enhance one's writing. Authors have a variety of different ways to build up tension, one of which is comparing points of view such as when there is an argument. When characters disagree on something and their points of view are compared, the intensity of the story or piece rises. This occurs in the two pieces, "Confetti Girl" and "Tortilla Sun" where the narrator and parent of the narrator disagree and their contrasting points of views can easily be shown to build tension and intensity. Differences in point of view in a writing piece can build tension throughout the piece such as in the two stories, "Confetti Girl" and "Tortilla Sun". The first story ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The two stories, "Tortilla Sun", and "Confetti Girl" are two examples of how different point of views build tension. In both stories, the narrator has a disagreement with their parent and instead of making an effort to resolve it, they simply stick to what they believe is right and as the story passes by, the tension builds. In "Confetti Girl", the narrator feels unimportant because she feels her father only cares about his books and education and less about his daughter which builds the conflict because she feel worse and worse. The same concept can be applied to "Tortilla Sun", where the narrator's parent is moving to another country to finish school and in doing so, is making an attempt to improve the lives for themselves and their child. However, the narrator feels the parent is abandoning them and and is making the parent seem selfish which results in the conflict and the tension rising. A lesson that could be learned from these two pieces is that if you make no attempt to understand someone's point of view of a topic, the conflict will remain just the way it is and the world already has enough conflict in ... • 35. Positive and Negative Views of Nursing Homes As the population of the United States increases so will our older adult population. This population consists of individuals 65 years old and above. " By 2030, the number of United States adults age 65 and older will more than double to about 71 million (CDC, 2012). This suggests that more people of older age will need services whether medical, financial, etc. These services include nursing homes, which are private and state institutions that provide residential accommodations with healthcare. However, nursing homes can provide resident accommodations for older individuals who are still under the age of 65, but that is only a minute portion of the residents that reside in these facilities. According to the National Care Planning Council, 91 percent of the 1,650,000 United States nursing home residents are over the age of 65. With the future increase of older adults there will be a need to place them in safe and reliable facilities that provide healthcare for when and if they can no longer care for themselves, have family to care for them, or either cannot afford personal care at home. Research Question The positive and negative views and ideas of what a nursing home is and does for an older adult vary. You may find someone who thinks nursing homes are one of the greatest creations man ever made, while another thinks they are just a form of imprisonment for our older population, and there may also be others who stand neutral about the creations and use of nursing homes. • 36. Views Of Feanagraphy : A Negative View Of Pornography A negative view of pornography is what many people have and even myself; however, learning the history and why many directors decide to make the erotic films changed my way of looking at them. Learning not only about the erotic films but also the other forms of sources like literature, images, and art. The fact that these other sources of art are accepted to in society, but when it comes to film it is totally unacceptable. Starting off with the film 9 Songs to ending with Shortbus has been an eye–opener to see how my views and way of thinking went out the window. When I first started the class I didn't know what to expect from what I would be watching and learning. After even watching my first erotic film, 9 Songs, was really interesting. I even remember that when my roommate would walk in the I would pause and make sure she didn't see my screen. I even wrote this on my forum, When I think of pornography I think of a video or some sort of media content of sex. It is media content that people can watch to get themselves arouse or for pleasure. It is something that can identify your sexuality. Now I think it is an art of expression to show the world what is natural and to tackle down all the taboos. In this film, we follow the life of two people who are in a relationship and we see every element that happens in the relationship. If that means them going to concerts, eating, exploring the city, and even being intimate. Thinking that something that should not be talked about outside the bedroom is what caused the negative view of porn. In the Secret Museum documentary, we find out that the ancient Romans were not ashamed of their sexuality and they were open about it. When the Victorians uncovered Pompeii, they were disgusted by the findings and even hid the items they found. I thought the same way that certain things were not to be discussed. I grew up in a Hispanic were sex is not a topic that is talked about and even growing in a Catholic home where chastity is praised. I remember being told that thinking of sex was a sin. I think this shaped my idea of what I thought porn was. Just content to make people wet and complete their satisfaction. I saw it as a thing that was not good and gave people the wrong ... • 37. The Negative Speech : The Views Of Donald Trump In The Anthem Across the nation many people hold strong views regarding athletes kneeling during the National Anthem. In 2016, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick used his platform as an athlete and influential figure to make a stand against the exceedingly high volume of police brutality and injustices seen across the country. Soon enough, different opinions were developing causing a divide within the nation. Many believe kneeling during our country's national anthem is considered to be unamerican and unpatriotic. Rather, it shows lack of respect to the country, the flag, and the military. President Donald Trump has frequently fought with the NFL over the national anthem protests, stating if any "son of a bitch" protests during the national anthem they should be "fired" or benched. Not only has our president expressed abrupt and extreme views on the subject, but team owners used their positions to end this controversy while thanking Trump for "remind[ing] [them] about game ops policy." Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said, "If there's anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will not play."Jones also states that teams "need consequences" if found kneeling during the anthem (Jones). On the contrary, those who take part in protesting the national anthem represent a bigger cause; they're not aiming to disrespect the flag but desire something greater. These athletes are looking for change. Like Kaepernick, "[they refuse] to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color." Many argue that they are not only expressing their first amendment rights, but "they're showing respect to American values with an implicit demand that [they] do more than pay them lip service" (Tatum). Nate Boyer, former US Army Green Beret, who had previously assured Kaepernick to kneel rather than sit during our country's National Anthem, said there's a difference between the two: "I want Colin Kaepernick and every American to stand because they want to stand, but I want them all to stand. I'm more interested if someone is taking a knee because they really care about something than the guy in the stands, or the girl in the stands, or whoever, that feels obligated to stand up when the ... • 39. Persuasive Essay : The Dangers Of Phones In The Classroom Picture this, you're in a classroom and your phone goes off which causes a distraction. Your teacher takes it away, but with her taking it away how are you going to do your work on google classroom? Plus there are no computers available. For example, a couple of weeks ago Mount Olive High School had no laptops for inventory. So is a classroom a place that a phone should be welcomed in? Or does it not belong in a classroom? The opportunity to have phones in class is great because they are a useful tool. They provide easy access research, learning games/apps, calculators, agenda, and etc. In case of an emergency, a student can reach out to grab their phone to call home or their parents/guardian. The emergency could be them forgetting to bring in something important, asking questions for their parents, and etc. Also, phones lets students to be organized with school work and to stay on task. For example, they can used for marking down any important reminders so they can get notifications, jot down notes for studying, and take pictures of documents in case they aren't going to be in the next day. Another benefit that phones offers is to make students study more. Lastly, the phones can avoid double standards. Yes not all students think the same way, but some students do feel this way. Having to rights to use phones and teachers too everyone is satisfied, yet if only a teacher uses theirs then some students can start to get envy, and think that the school is not being fair with their rules. Once you hear the positive sides about phones in classrooms, you start to think it´s a bright idea. Yes phones are a helpful usage in a classroom, but there are negative reasons having phones in classroom. To begin with, students can be immature when they do have phones in their possession.
