Albert Einstein Contribution
In the early 1930s after WW1, the Nazis were becoming stronger and more well–known due to
violent propaganda. They were influencing scientists to label Einstein's work as "Jewish physics."
Jews were not allowed to work official jobs, or university work, and Einstein was targeted to be
killed. Albert Einstein was a German theoretical physicist who accomplished much in his life. He
developed the general theories of relativity, the equation E = MC2, and won the Nobel Prize for
Physics for his research on the photoelectric effect. These are just some of the things that Einstein
did that made him the most influential scientist of the 1900s. In this report, I will explain Einstein's
life and accomplishments, and describe why I think he is a good role model. Einstein was born on
March 14th, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. He grew up in a Jewish family with his father, Hermann
Einstein, his mother, Pauline, and his sister, Maja. Einstein got married on January 6th, 1903 to
Milena Maric, a fellow physics student. Due to Maric's ethnic background, Einstein's parents tried to
discourage the relationship, but they stayed together anyway, marrying the year after Einstein's
father died. The year the two got married, Einstein and Maric had a daughter, and later had two
sons. Einstein's marriage with Maric ended in 1919, but that same year, he married his cousin, Elsa
Lowenthal. However, Lowenthal died in 1936. When Einstein was in elementary school at the
Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich, he felt

Ulm Germany. His father was Hermann Einstein and his mother Pauline Koch his father was an
engineer and a salesman. In 1880 Albert and his family moved to Munich. While in Munich
Einstein's father and uncle founded an electric company. Albert at the age of five till the age of eight
went to a Catholic elementary school. At the age of eight he transferred so he can receive advanced
primary and secondary education at the Luitpold Gymnasium. In 1894 his family lost the company
and was forced to move to Italy to look for work. Albert stayed in Munich to finish his studies.
When Albert was 16 he took the entrance exams to the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich. He
failed to reach the requirements of the general portion of the exam. In January 1896 after receiving
his father's approval Albert denounced his German citizenship so he didn't have to enlist in the
military. At the age of 17 he retook the entrance exam to the polytechnic in Zurich and passed with
the highest grades in physics and mathematics. During his time there he fell in love with Mileva
Maric who was the only female physicist at Zürich. Einstein went on to marry Mileva even though
his family had strong opinions of her. While finishing her studies she gave birth to Einstein's first
child Lieserl his daughter after her birth no one knew what happened to her. After getting married
they had there fist son Hans Einstein.

The Life of Albert Einstein
"I do not know with what kinds of weapons the Third World War will be fought, but the Fourth
World War will be fought with sticks and stones." – Albert Einstein After World War 2 Albert
Einstein was a major leading figure in the World Government Movement. He was offered the
presidency of Israel, but he declined. During the start of his scientific life, Einstein realized the
inadequacies of the Newtonian Mechanics and his special theory of relativity stemmed from an
attempt to reconcile the laws of mechanics and laws of the electromagnetic field together. He
received an honorary doctorate degrees in philosophy, science, and medicine from a variety of
European and American universities. Einstein was awarded Fellowships or Memberships ... Show

He played the violin from age 6 to 13. When he was five Albert Einstein became engrossed with a
compass. He was mystified that invisible forces could deflect the needle. When Einstein was 12 he
was deeply religious, and went as far to compose several songs praising God. But after he read
several science books that contradicted his religious beliefs. This changed his views on God and left
a lasting impression. Six weeks after Einstein's birth his family moved to Munich, Germany. There
Albert began his schooling at the age of 6 at the Luitpold Gymnasium. Later, him and his family
moved to Aarau, Switzerland. At the Luitpold Gymnasium Einstein often felt out of place and
victimized by a Prussian–style educational system that seemed to look down on original and
creativity. One of his teachers told him that he'd never amount to anything ( "Albert Einstein") In the
year 1894 Einstein failed an exam at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich that would
have allowed him to become an electronic engineer. After studying for two years he obtained a post
at the Swiss Patent office in Bern. He spent the year 1895 in Aarau at the Cantonal Secondary
School, where he enjoyed the luxury of first rate facilities and great teachers in physics. In 1896
Einstein returned to the Zurich Polytechnic and graduated in 1900 as a secondary school teacher of
physics and mathematics. ("Albert Einstein

Paper On Albert Einstein
Abstract
Albert Einstein was a generally intelligent man who created a series of proven theories. His theories
provided a major impact to the world in which his information allowed individuals to expand their
knowledge of the world. He shared his ideas to a plethora of people and won a Nobel Prize for the
explanations of his theories. Throughout time, he became a shooting target and moved away from
his native land. As an American citizen, he played a part as a civil rights activist. After a few years,
he slowly begun to get distant from everyone and sadly passed away on April 18, 1955.
Albert Einstein: From the beginning Albert Einstein was an extraordinary human being, however, a
copious amount of people do not recall much of him nor his life. It's a common occurrence to hear
the name, "Albert Einstein", but do people actually know what he did?

As a student in college, he had even larger copious amounts of ideas stirred up. Because of all time
he had, Einstein would create a series of theories, however, he never made the time to publish them.
One of his theories he came up with was named the principle of relativity. In the year of 1905,
Einstein had a, what people call, a 'miracle year'. He finally created the time to put his thoughts and
ideas on to paper to publish to the world. Einstein was able to publish four of his papers in a physics
journal named Annalen der Physik. This publishing company was known as the best journal of
physics in that era. Each paper elaborated on his theories of the matter/energy relationship,
photoelectric effect, Brownian motion, and the special theory of relativity. Each of his theories made
not only scientists second look everything, but as well as made physics turn into a new direction that

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany, on Walk 14, 1879. He was a poor student, and some of
his instructors and family, who ran an organization that made and sold electrical hardware, figured
he may have been impeded. Later on in this life he went on to say, "School failed me, and I failed
the school. It bored me. The teachers behaved like Feldwebel (sergeants). I wanted to learn what I
wanted to know, but they wanted me to learn for the exam." Einstein and the Poet (1983). He started
playing the violin at age six and did so throughout his life.At the age of nine he was still not able
talk fluently although he was intrigued by the laws of nature, for example, about the invisible force
that directs the needle of a compass. In 1895 his family moved to Milan, in Italy. For Einstein to get
accepted to "Eidgenoessische Polytechnische Schule" in Zurich, he had to take a selection test in
October 1895. However, the results were not sufficient and he was denied. Instead Einstein quit
going to class and pursued arithmetic and other studies. In 1896 he was admitted to the Swiss
Government Foundation of Innovation in Zurich. His productive activity at the Swiss Patent Office
in Bern left him an opportunity to conduct expiriments of his own, which brought about a
progression of a series of papers. Einstein composed several papers with a new theory of the
structure of light. He argued that light can act just like particles of energy, in some ways like the
particles of a gas. His

Einstein had been considering the problem for over ten years when he realized that lay not in a
theory of matter but one of measurement. The crux of his special theory or relativity was that all
measurements of time and space depend on judgments as to whether two distant events occur at the
same time (the "relative" view of the observer). This realization led him to develop a theory based
on two major points. First, the principle of relativity, that physical laws are the same in all inertial
reference systems. Second the principle of the invariance of the speed of light, that the speed of light
in a vacuum will always remain constant. Using these two postulates, he was able to provide a
correct description of physical events in different inertial frames of reference, and did not have to
make assumptions about the nature of matter or radiation, nor how they interact. Not many
understood Einstein's argument when it was first offered. This was not because the work was too
mathematically complex or technically obscure, but because of Einstein's beliefs about the nature of
good theories and the relationship between experiment and theory. A good theory, in his opinion,
was one where the minimum number of postulates were used to account for the physical evidence.
He did not believe that theories could be logically connected to experiment, but that scientific
theories were

Contributions Of Albert Einstein
Throughout the ancient times known as history, there have been many influential people. For,
example, individuals influence the world by protesting what is right, discovering something new, or
using their resources to help others with their generosity. Categorically, Albert Einstein is someone
who overshadows all the other influential people in the world. Albert Einstein is influential because
of his accomplishments within all of his awards, his pivotal moments within his career, and his
contributions to society with his inventions.
Albert Einstein is influential because of his very many accomplishments. For example, according to
Anirudh, author of 10 major accomplishments of Albert Einstein, outlines, "Einstein received
numerous other awards and honors including Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society in
1926, Matteucci Medal in 1921, Max Planck Medal in 1929 and Franklin Medal in 1935. In 1999,
Time magazine named Albert Einstein as the Person of the Century." This information shows, that
his accomplishment made him influential because Einstein accomplished many things that made
him influential which included awards, medals, and plaques. According to, Einstein's diploma to be

infant, the family moved to Munich. Albert's father was plagued with business failures throughout
his life, and after one such failure, he moved his family to Milan, Italy. Einstein was, at first, left
behind to finish his schooling at the Luitpold Gymnasium, but he disapproved of this choice, and
followed his family to Milan.
Albert decided to attempt to skip the rest of gymnasium and tried to pass the test he needed in order
to do so. He failed the Zürich Poly entrance examination on his first attempt, and so he was sent by
his family to finish school in Aarau, where Albert actually enjoyed being educated, unlike his

One year after he obtained his job at the Patent office, in 1903, Albert Einstein married his
sweetheart from Zürich Poly, Mileva Marie. The two had a daughter before they were married, a
daughter which was given up for adoption the same year they were married. Unfortunately, their
marriage was unsuccessful. Mileva was prone to periods of depression, and appeared to be jealous
of Einstein's free–acting friends (Cropper). Still, Einstein was not completely void of fault, as his
attention was given, not to his wife, but to his work, and failed to give his marriage the work that it
required.
During Einstein's employment at the Patent Office, he did the majority of his life's works in his
spare time. In 1905, Einstein published three important articles–each on a different topic.
The first dealt with electromagnetism, especially focusing on the contributions Max Planck had
made. "Einstein used Planck's quantum hypothesis to describe visible electromagnetic radiation, or
light" (http://www.humboldt1.com/~gralsto/einstein/1905.html). Einstein's theory formed the basis
for a large part of quantum mechanics.
The second paper of 1905 discussed the special theory of relativity. "Einstein realized that the
equations describing the motion of an electron in fact could describe the nonaccelerated motion of
any particle or any suitably defined rigid body"

In Ulm, kingdom of Wurttemberg, Germany, Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879. Form an
early age Einstein and his family moved to Munich where Albert attended a catholic school for three
years at the age of just 5. As soon as he turned 8 years old he was then moved to the Luitpod
Gymnasium which is also called the Albert Einstein Gymnasium. As he attended the Luitpod
gymnasium he was taught advanced education of the primary and second level. Seven years later
albert Einstein departed from Germany. Due to the loss of his fathers and uncles company, Albert
and his family were oved to Milan, Italy and after to Pavia, Italy. As soon as they moved to Pavia
Albert decided to go back to Munich, Germany to finish id education but later moved back to Pavia.
At just the age of 15, Albert taught himself different calculus and integral he was believed to have
never failed anything related to mathematics. In 1895 he failed an entrance exam at the Swiss
federal Polytechnic but nonetheless maintained very high grades in mathematics and physics
courses. At the age of 17 Einstein decided to attend a physics and math diploma program for four
years. During this time this is where Einstein meet his future wife Mileva Maric, they develop a
deep friendship and romance. Einstein is then given a diploma of the polytechnic for completing all
required. In 1902 Einstein and Maric become parents to a baby girl name Lieserl but it is said that
Einstein had no image of his daughter Maric then either put her up for adoption or had passed due to
scarlet fever. In the following year both Einstein and Maric marry and have their first son Hans
Albert Einstein, in Switzerland, then in 1094 they are gifted with a second son Eduard. Years later
they decide to go and move to berlin where Mileva leaves Einstein for having an affair with his first
and second cousin Elsa. After Einstein's and Maric's divorce he then married Elsa from 1919– 1936
where they moved to the United States and then Elsa died due to heart and kidney failure. Einstein's
first scientific papers were published in 1900 in his journal Annalen Der Physik and received a PhD

been more ingenious in thinking up unexpected and clever examples; but it turned out that the
inconsistencies were not there; and often their resolution could be found in earlier work of Einstein
himself. When that did not work, after repeated efforts, Einstein had simply to say that he did not

He summed up his scientific career by saying "The real goal of my research has always been the

Hans Albert Einstein And The Life Of Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was born to secular Jewish family in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. Einstein is
best known for the development of the theory of relativity, a major structure of physics. However,
before he became this revered figure in science, Einstein worked at a patent office in Bern,
Switzerland where he developed his first scientific theories. Much of his work at the patent office
presented questions about transmission of electric signals and electrical–mechanical synchronization
of time, two technical problems that eventually led Einstein to his revolutionary conclusions about
the nature of light and the fundamental connection between space and time. While attending college
at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic, Einstein met Mileva Maric, with whom he developed a close
relationship with. In January 1903, Einstein married Maric, and they later had two children. The first
son, Hans Albert Einstein, born in Bern, Switzerland, and the second, Eduard Einstein, born in
Zurich July 1910. Einstein and Mileva are believed to have had their first child in 1902, a daughter
they named Lieserl, who is believed to have either been given up for adoption or died of scarlet
fever. Hans later went on to become a professor of Hydraulic Engineering at the University of
California, Berkeley, and received honorable recognition for his research regarding sediment
transport. Eduard studied medicine in hopes of becoming a psychiatrist, but unfortunately suffered a

Albert Einstein Most people know who Albert Einstein is and how great of a physicist he was, yet
many aren't aware that Albert Einstein had not even finished high school! Most would think that a
person who doesn't complete high school is dumb, and lazy. The fact is, Einstein did not complete
high school, not because he was dumb or lazy. At the age of 15, he quit high school because he did
not agree with the way the teachers taught. He thought that the teacher's weren't teaching in a way
that didn't allow students to freely question or use their creative imagination. Einstein once said
"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." By this he shows that he isn't for seeing
things the way they seem, and he tends to think deeper into things. He shows that he keeps his mind
open, open to learn new things that can't be noticed by a simple glance. Many would also think that
one who drops out of high school may not go anywhere in life. Einstein won a Nobel Prize in
Physics, a Gold Medal of The Royal Astronomical Society, and many other awards. Even if Einstein
never even finished high school, his creation of the equation E = mc2, theory of relativity, and
theory of light led the way to him becoming known as the father of modern physics. Albert Einstein

The Contributions Of Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was one of the most well–known scientists of the 20th century. He was born in Ulm,
Germany and was a very hard worker. Albert Einstein worked for what he wanted and ended up
reaching those goals. He won many awards including the Nobel Peace Prize in Physics in 1921.
According to the statutes, a reserved prize can be awarded the year after, and Albert Einstein was
awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in 1922. He was rewarded for his many contributions to theoretical
physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect. Albert Einstein was
one of the most well–known physicists who loved science, like me, and worked hard for what he
wanted to accomplish.
Einstein studied Physics of the Universe. Physics of the Universe is all about space, time, and its
contents, including: planets, XYZ, and XYZ. and time and its contents which include planets,
moons, minor planets, galaxies and all matter and energy. Einstein extended the Theory Of
Relativity, Published in 1916 to all coordinate systems. The theory was not published until 1916. In
this theory the interactions of bodies are explained as the influence of bodies on the geometry of
spacetime. Give a strong conclusion here – something like, "Because of these contributions and

In 1905, Einstein received his doctorate from the University of Zurich for a thesis on the dimensions
of molecules. Three published theoretical papers became the central importance to the development
of 20th century physics. The first of the three papers examined electromagnetic energy being
directly proportional to the frequency of the radiation. The second paper he wrote significant
predictions about statistical mechanics later confirmed by experiments. The third of Einstein's
papers of 1905 proposed what is today called the special theory of relativity. He showed how mass
and energy was equivalent.
Einstein resigned from the patent office and was appointed as a professor in Prague in 1911 and at
Zurich in 1912, then worked in Berlin, where he was the director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Physical
Institute from 1914 to 1933. Even before he left the patent office in 1907, Einstein began work on
extending and generalizing the theory of relativity to all coordinate systems. The full General
Theory of Relativity was published in 1916. In this theory the interactions of bodies, which have
been ascribed to gravitational force are explained. Einstein accounted an explanation of the orbital
motion of the planets and predicted the bending of starlight by a massive body such as the sun. The
confirmation of this prediction became Einstein's spread of worldwide fame in 1919 with the eclipse

This may be because of his "Theory of Relativity," which contained the famous equation E=mc²; or
his major involvement in the Manhattan Project, the making of the atom bomb, probably the most
destructive weapon known to man. Einstein has one of the most spectacular uses of geometry in his
theory of gravitation, also known as the general theory of relativity. "Einstein discovered that by
considering the properties of space as though it were curved, he could account for the effects of
gravity of gravity without using the customary "pull" that we intuitively associate with gravity. He
found that he could explain the natural world by using geometry" (Stwertka 20). In the general
theory of relativity, a large mass such as the sun warps the space around it. Even though this is hard
to visualize, if we can think in two dimensions, it is like the depression made by a large ball on top
of a sheet of rubber. Any kind of mass near the sun will tend to "fall" into the depression, and move
toward the sun. This kind of behavior has the same

The Nonconformity Of Albert Einstein
Have you ever heard of nonconformity? I got a better question. Have you ever heard of Albert
Einstein? Well, Albert Einstein was a nonconformist born on March 13, 1879, he was born in the
south of Germany in the city of Ulm. His family was middle class. Albert Einstein and his family
were Jewish. Albert Einstein was known for making theories and how smart he was. He represents
nonconformity by the way he acted and by the way he dressed the way he had his hair and how he
had little interest in money. A nonconformist is a person who stands out in society.
Albert Einstein showed he was a nonconformist by the way he acted and how he treated other
people. Albert Einstein was super rude to his peers and did not show a lot of respect to anyone. He
often disagreed with what other people said. Albert Einstein once actually got into a really bad
argument with one of his peers when talking about science. This lead to him getting sent out of the
science fair. Ever since Albert Einstein was little he would have an interest in science and math. He
lacked in the amount of respect he had towards people he knew. Albert Einstein didn't care who you
were he treated all the people the same no matter what. This is a quote by Albert Einstein "I speak to

Albert Einstein is widely known for the atomic bomb, his studies in physics and medicine, also
proving gravity was a pushing force. Einstein had a lot of adversity in his life, but he surmounts the
negative connotations of him and other Jews. Einstein faced adversity during his life, he had to take
several breaks in his research, but he triumphed over it by proving everyone wrong. Einstein went to
university at the university of Zurich, he had many jobs, he was at risk during the holocaust and
wars, he had to stop researching many times, he had home issues, and he never gave up on life.
Out of all Einstein's many accomplishments he is most famous for his theory of relativity. Albert
Einstein was a theoretical physicist, he also had influence on philosophy of science. Einstein was
born on March fourteenth, 1879 in Germany. Einstein went to university of Zurich, he became a
professor extraordinary at Zurich in 1909. After his job at Zurich, he later became an appointed
director of Kaiser and became professor of theoretical physics, and a professor at the university of
berlin (the Nobel prize in physics 1921 par. 2).
During his life Einstein struggled to find employment because people kept rejecting him after he
dropped out of college. Einstein had a rough home life (Johannes par. 3). During Einstein's career he
was repudiated by most of his theories, and he failed during his research. Since Einstein was a
German Jew, he was at risk (Bass par. 3). Once World War II broke out

1905 was Einstein's "miracle year." In March of that year, he sent to the "Annalen der Physik," the
leading German physics journal, a paper with a new understanding of the structure of light. He
argued that light acts as though is consists of independent particles of energy. Einstein built on Max
Planck's work and went beyond this. He showed that light quanta could help to explain phenomena
being studied by experimental physicists; he made clear how light ejects electrons from metals. In
May of 1905, Einstein submitted another paper that reinforced the kinetic energy theory. His Special
Theory of Relativity was born; Einstein submitted yet another paper in June of 1905 on
electromagnetism and motion. Since Galileo and Newton, physicists had known that laboratory
experiments never revealed a difference between an object at rest and an object moving at a constant
speed along a straight line. Objects behave the same way on a uniformly moving ship as they do on
an anchored ship; this is the Principle of Relativity. However, according to the electromagnetic
theory, light should not obey this principle. This theory predicted that measurements on velociy of
light would show the effects of motion. Yet, no such effect had been detected in any experiments––
the velocity of light did not vary. Einstein found a way to show that the Principle of Relativity was

The Myth Of Albert Einstein
With a name synonymous to genius, Albert Einstein is undoubtedly one of the most influential men
in modern physics and philosophy of science. Who exactly is Albert Einstein? Born in the German
Empire in 1879, Albert Einstein was not thought initially by his peers to be anything special. There
is a lot of myth surrounding Einstein's schooling with statements like "Einstein failed math" or
"Einstein did bad in school", but these were simply myths and not much more. Einstein did
extremely well in school and did amazing in mathematics specifically (having mastered calculus on
his own at age 15). The issue was that Einstein had a tendency to skip class and go off on his own
doing personal research and discovery. It was in this erratic method of his that caused colleagues
and employers to avoid his company and led to the developed opinion that Einstein was not destined
for a life of research and discovery. Although Einstein seeked out a position in the sciences, nobody
would take him on as an assistant nor a colleague which ultimately led to him becoming a worker at
the Swiss patent office. The prospect of Einstein ever entering into the academic stream looked
grim. He had derailed his education and reputation. He was disregarded in the scientific community
for his poor work ethic and failure to comply with traditional scientific method. However, in 1905 at
the age of 26, Einstein went on to publish four papers that changed his academic merit entirely.

Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Germany to a Jewish couple. While having initial
complications with a misshapen head during child birth, he grew normally. However it was
commented by Albert Einstein's relatives that he was a little slow. Einstein's lack of intelligent was
shown by his late age of learning how to speak. His first formal education (besides the private
education he received before school) was at a Catholic school in Munich . This institution was
short–lived because of Einstein's taste and disagreements with the professor. He left the school and

–Albert Einstein
In 1905 Einstein published five revolutionary papers in the scientific magazine "Annalen der
Physik". In April of that same year, Einstein submitted his doctorial thesis, "A New Determination
of Molecular Dimensions". Some of the other papers that he published include his famous article
"On A Heuristic Point of View Concerning the Production and Transformation of Light" in which
Einstein described the electromagnetic radiations of light by using Max Planck's quantum
hypothesis. Einstein states that "in order for an electron to be removed from the cathode, a given
quantity of energy had to be delivered to the atom". This revolutionary publication won him the
Nobel Prize in 1921.
Another one of his papers was "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies" in which Einstein
reveals special relativity. In his paper he describes a stationary clock and a clock in motion:
"If at the points A and B of K there are stationary clocks which, viewed in the stationary system, are
synchronous; and if the clock at A is moved with the velocity v along the line AB to B, then on its
arrival at B the two clocks no longer synchronize, but

you know it is actually 1:00? If it said 2:00 a.m. would you believe it if it was sunny outside?
Without Albert Einstein, we would not have many things including our current understanding of
time. Albert Einstein had a positive effect on the future of the world because without his discoveries
many of today's inventions would be non–existent. He changed the way scientists view everything
from matter and energy, as well as light, Time Magazine even named him the most influential
person of the 20th century.
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Württemberg, Germany. He would not

grew up in a secular Jewish family. His father Hermann Einstein was a salesman and engineer, and
with his brother founded Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein & Cie, a Munich–based company that
manufactured electrical equipment. At the age of five, Einstein was given a compass by his father
for his birthday. Einstein would become amazed at the unknown behind the compass and would
continue this interest in why and how things worked for the rest of his childhood. Growing up,
Einstein had trouble with speech and social abilities, and for hours Einstein could play by himself
twiddling with anything that amused his mind. This independence made Einstein question authority,

From 1909 to 1916 Albert Einstein worked on a generalization of his Special Theory of Relativity.
The results of his efforts were published in March 1916 in the paper "The Foundation of the General
Theory of Relativity". This theory investigates coordination systems which experience acceleration
relative to each other and also the influence of gravitational fields to time and space.
The Special Theory of Relativity was still intelligible to the average person; this did not apply to the
General Theory of Relativity. Due to the relatively small relativistic effects, this theory was difficult
to verify experimentally. Einstein predicted the perihelion motion of mercury, the gravitational red
shift as well as the deflection of light in a gravitational field. He was convinced that light deflection
by the gravitational field of the sun could be observed during a total solar eclipse. After several
failed observations of total solar eclipses proof finally came in 1919: On May 29 of that year the
English astronomer Arthur Stanley Eddington confirmed Einstein's prediction of light deflection
when he observed a total solar eclipse on the volcanic island of Principe in the Gulf of Guinea in
western Africa. A second expedition, led by Andrew Crommelin, observed this eclipse in Sobral,
Brazil.
The official result of these expeditions was announced on November 6, 1919 during a joint meeting
of the Royal Society and the Royal Astronomical Society in London. Einstein

considered the ancestor of the UNESCO. His involvement on this committee was short lived due to
the prejudices against his German and Jewish background. Einstein also saw that the group catered

When Adolph Hitler gained power in 1933, Einstein changed his opinion on militarism. He started
to tell the nations of Europe that military preparedness is what should be happening in their

Unfortunately, the opposite reaction was appeasement for the nations of Europe.)
Luckily for Einstein he moved to the United States of America before he could become one of

most accomplished mathematicians and scientists known to man. His contributions to both science

theoretical and philosophical sense.
Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Wurttemberg, Germany on March 14, 1879. Einstein was raised in

Albert Einstein Albert Einstein, perhaps the greatest mind ever to have walked the face of the earth,

regimented and repetitive nature of schooling in Germany at that time had any promise of helping

Even this did not come easily for him. He failed the entrance exam, only to pass it on his second

is usually welcomed. Once again, though, Einstein found himself resented. This time not by the
students, but by his professors, and because of this, he was unable to obtain a teaching position at
the Institute upon his graduation in 1900. The following year, he became a Swiss citizen, and he also
wrote his first scientific essay, which was entitled 'Consequences of Capillary Phenomena.' Einstein
noted that this was proved the existence of molecules. In 1902, he married Mileva Maric, who had

born in 1910, but the marriage itself ended with a divorce in 1919. Also in 1902, unable to find a
teaching position, Albert was able to find a job in the Swiss patent office. Understandably, this
doesn't seem like much of a job for such a great mind, but it may have been just the job he needed.
The work at the patent office was fairly boring, but it left him the time he needed to do research, and
to write on various scientific topics. It was while working at the patent office in 1905 that Einstein

Albert Einstein Essay
Albert Einstein
Einstein was born in 1879 in Germany. When he was a small child he didn't show any high
intelligence. In fact he even took a while to learn how to speak. He was a smart kid but it took a
while for people to notice his intelligence. He would ask questions his own teachers couldn't answer
and he even taught himself calculus. He took an entrance exam for Swiss Federal Polytechnic
School and failed. He failed but he was still admitted a year later. While doing his regular work he
also studied physics on his own. He applied for an academic position but was rejected. Why would
they reject such an intelligent man? But they did and in 1902 he was hired as a patent examiner in
Berne. In 1905 his intelligence came out of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Einstein had been one of the first few to be invited. Hoffman had ideas and he wanted to explain
those ideas to Einstein. He was in awe of Einstein, but when he approached Einstein with the ideas
he asked Hoffman to please go slow because he didn't understand things quickly. Hoffman was
impressed by this comment. Who wouldn't if it was coming from Einstein, the genius the great
scientist.
Einstein wasn't only a genius but he was also a religious man. Who would have thought; but he was.
He once said that ideas came from God, and I totally agree. And like he said God is difficult to
understand but he is not mean. In other words anything is possible, with God's help.
Einstein thought of science and trying to figure out things as an every day thing. He asked Hoffman
at one time if he wondered why a man's feet could sink into dry or wet sand. Hoffman didn't answer;
he had never thought of that. But of course Einstein explained it.
With all this Einstein made a great impact on Banesh Hoffman. I say he made a great impact on
Hoffman because at first Hoffman had some admiring fear towards Einstein. It went away when
Hoffman actually approached Einstein with some of his own ideas. And when Einstein told him to
go slow because he didn't understand things quickly. That comment made it a whole lot better.
I can kind of relate myself with this essay because in a way I can say I've been in Hoffman's place.

Albert Einstein's Life and Contributions

  • 1. Albert Einstein Contribution In the early 1930s after WW1, the Nazis were becoming stronger and more well–known due to violent propaganda. They were influencing scientists to label Einstein's work as "Jewish physics." Jews were not allowed to work official jobs, or university work, and Einstein was targeted to be killed. Albert Einstein was a German theoretical physicist who accomplished much in his life. He developed the general theories of relativity, the equation E = MC2, and won the Nobel Prize for Physics for his research on the photoelectric effect. These are just some of the things that Einstein did that made him the most influential scientist of the 1900s. In this report, I will explain Einstein's life and accomplishments, and describe why I think he is a good role model. Einstein was born on March 14th, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. He grew up in a Jewish family with his father, Hermann Einstein, his mother, Pauline, and his sister, Maja. Einstein got married on January 6th, 1903 to Milena Maric, a fellow physics student. Due to Maric's ethnic background, Einstein's parents tried to discourage the relationship, but they stayed together anyway, marrying the year after Einstein's father died. The year the two got married, Einstein and Maric had a daughter, and later had two sons. Einstein's marriage with Maric ended in 1919, but that same year, he married his cousin, Elsa Lowenthal. However, Lowenthal died in 1936. When Einstein was in elementary school at the Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich, he felt ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Albert Einstein : The Life Of Albert Einstein _________The Life of Albert Einstein_________ lbert Einstein was born on March 14th, 1879 in Ulm Germany. His father was Hermann Einstein and his mother Pauline Koch his father was an engineer and a salesman. In 1880 Albert and his family moved to Munich. While in Munich Einstein's father and uncle founded an electric company. Albert at the age of five till the age of eight went to a Catholic elementary school. At the age of eight he transferred so he can receive advanced primary and secondary education at the Luitpold Gymnasium. In 1894 his family lost the company and was forced to move to Italy to look for work. Albert stayed in Munich to finish his studies. When Albert was 16 he took the entrance exams to the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich. He failed to reach the requirements of the general portion of the exam. In January 1896 after receiving his father's approval Albert denounced his German citizenship so he didn't have to enlist in the military. At the age of 17 he retook the entrance exam to the polytechnic in Zurich and passed with the highest grades in physics and mathematics. During his time there he fell in love with Mileva Maric who was the only female physicist at Zürich. Einstein went on to marry Mileva even though his family had strong opinions of her. While finishing her studies she gave birth to Einstein's first child Lieserl his daughter after her birth no one knew what happened to her. After getting married they had there fist son Hans Einstein. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Life of Albert Einstein "I do not know with what kinds of weapons the Third World War will be fought, but the Fourth World War will be fought with sticks and stones." – Albert Einstein After World War 2 Albert Einstein was a major leading figure in the World Government Movement. He was offered the presidency of Israel, but he declined. During the start of his scientific life, Einstein realized the inadequacies of the Newtonian Mechanics and his special theory of relativity stemmed from an attempt to reconcile the laws of mechanics and laws of the electromagnetic field together. He received an honorary doctorate degrees in philosophy, science, and medicine from a variety of European and American universities. Einstein was awarded Fellowships or Memberships ... He was mystified that invisible forces could deflect the needle. When Einstein was 12 he was deeply religious, and went as far to compose several songs praising God. But after he read several science books that contradicted his religious beliefs. This changed his views on God and left a lasting impression. Six weeks after Einstein's birth his family moved to Munich, Germany. There Albert began his schooling at the age of 6 at the Luitpold Gymnasium. Later, him and his family moved to Aarau, Switzerland. At the Luitpold Gymnasium Einstein often felt out of place and victimized by a Prussian–style educational system that seemed to look down on original and creativity. One of his teachers told him that he'd never amount to anything ( "Albert Einstein") In the year 1894 Einstein failed an exam at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich that would have allowed him to become an electronic engineer. After studying for two years he obtained a post at the Swiss Patent office in Bern. He spent the year 1895 in Aarau at the Cantonal Secondary School, where he enjoyed the luxury of first rate facilities and great teachers in physics. In 1896 Einstein returned to the Zurich Polytechnic and graduated in 1900 as a secondary school teacher of physics and mathematics. ("Albert Einstein ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Paper On Albert Einstein Abstract Albert Einstein was a generally intelligent man who created a series of proven theories. His theories provided a major impact to the world in which his information allowed individuals to expand their knowledge of the world. He shared his ideas to a plethora of people and won a Nobel Prize for the explanations of his theories. Throughout time, he became a shooting target and moved away from his native land. As an American citizen, he played a part as a civil rights activist. After a few years, he slowly begun to get distant from everyone and sadly passed away on April 18, 1955. Albert Einstein: From the beginning Albert Einstein was an extraordinary human being, however, a copious amount of people do not recall much of him nor his life. It's a common occurrence to hear the name, "Albert Einstein", but do people actually know what he did? As a student in college, he had even larger copious amounts of ideas stirred up. Because of all time he had, Einstein would create a series of theories, however, he never made the time to publish them. One of his theories he came up with was named the principle of relativity. In the year of 1905, Einstein had a, what people call, a 'miracle year'. He finally created the time to put his thoughts and ideas on to paper to publish to the world. Einstein was able to publish four of his papers in a physics journal named Annalen der Physik. This publishing company was known as the best journal of physics in that era. Each paper elaborated on his theories of the matter/energy relationship, photoelectric effect, Brownian motion, and the special theory of relativity. Each of his theories made not only scientists second look everything, but as well as made physics turn into a new direction that was seriously ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Albert Einstein Essay Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany, on Walk 14, 1879. He was a poor student, and some of his instructors and family, who ran an organization that made and sold electrical hardware, figured he may have been impeded. Later on in this life he went on to say, "School failed me, and I failed the school. It bored me. The teachers behaved like Feldwebel (sergeants). I wanted to learn what I wanted to know, but they wanted me to learn for the exam." Einstein and the Poet (1983). He started playing the violin at age six and did so throughout his life.At the age of nine he was still not able talk fluently although he was intrigued by the laws of nature, for example, about the invisible force that directs the needle of a compass. In 1895 his family moved to Milan, in Italy. For Einstein to get accepted to "Eidgenoessische Polytechnische Schule" in Zurich, he had to take a selection test in October 1895. However, the results were not sufficient and he was denied. Instead Einstein quit going to class and pursued arithmetic and other studies. In 1896 he was admitted to the Swiss Government Foundation of Innovation in Zurich. His productive activity at the Swiss Patent Office in Bern left him an opportunity to conduct expiriments of his own, which brought about a progression of a series of papers. Einstein composed several papers with a new theory of the structure of light. He argued that light can act just like particles of energy, in some ways like the particles of a gas. His ... Though he did not even begin to speak until he was three, he showed a great curiosity of nature and even taught himself Euclidean geometry at the age of 12. Albert despised school life, thinking it dull and boring, so when his family decided to move to Milan, Italy, Einstein took the opportunity to drop out of school, only 15 at the time. After a year with his parents in Milan it became clear to him that he would have to make his own way in the world. He finished secondary school in Arrau, Switzerland, and then enrolled at the Swiss National Polytechnic in Zurich. School there was no ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Einstein had been considering the problem for over ten years when he realized that lay not in a theory of matter but one of measurement. The crux of his special theory or relativity was that all measurements of time and space depend on judgments as to whether two distant events occur at the same time (the "relative" view of the observer). This realization led him to develop a theory based on two major points. First, the principle of relativity, that physical laws are the same in all inertial reference systems. Second the principle of the invariance of the speed of light, that the speed of light in a vacuum will always remain constant. Using these two postulates, he was able to provide a correct description of physical events in different inertial frames of reference, and did not have to make assumptions about the nature of matter or radiation, nor how they interact. Not many understood Einstein's argument when it was first offered. This was not because the work was too mathematically complex or technically obscure, but because of Einstein's beliefs about the nature of good theories and the relationship between experiment and theory. A good theory, in his opinion, was one where the minimum number of postulates were used to account for the physical evidence. He did not believe that theories could be logically connected to experiment, but that scientific theories were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Albert's father was plagued with business failures throughout his life, and after one such failure, he moved his family to Milan, Italy. Einstein was, at first, left behind to finish his schooling at the Luitpold Gymnasium, but he disapproved of this choice, and followed his family to Milan. Albert decided to attempt to skip the rest of gymnasium and tried to pass the test he needed in order to do so. He failed the Zürich Poly entrance examination on his first attempt, and so he was sent by his family to finish school in Aarau, where Albert actually enjoyed being educated, unlike his gymnasium experience. ... The two had a daughter before they were married, a daughter which was given up for adoption the same year they were married. Unfortunately, their marriage was unsuccessful. Mileva was prone to periods of depression, and appeared to be jealous of Einstein's free–acting friends (Cropper). Still, Einstein was not completely void of fault, as his attention was given, not to his wife, but to his work, and failed to give his marriage the work that it required. During Einstein's employment at the Patent Office, he did the majority of his life's works in his spare time. In 1905, Einstein published three important articles–each on a different topic. The first dealt with electromagnetism, especially focusing on the contributions Max Planck had made. "Einstein used Planck's quantum hypothesis to describe visible electromagnetic radiation, or light" (http://www.humboldt1.com/~gralsto/einstein/1905.html). Einstein's theory formed the basis for a large part of quantum mechanics. The second paper of 1905 discussed the special theory of relativity. No one could have been more ingenious in thinking up unexpected and clever examples; but it turned out that the inconsistencies were not there; and often their resolution could be found in earlier work of Einstein himself. When that did not work, after repeated efforts, Einstein had simply to say that he did not like the theory. He did not like the elements of indeterminacy. He did not like the abandonment of continuity or of causality." (Oppenheimer, Robert) He summed up his scientific career by saying "The real goal of my research has always been the simplification of and unification of the systems of theoretical physics" ( Einstein). Einstein did not like to conform to the ideas of others and so was always different and alone in his thoughts. His scientific work has allowed for a much broader understanding of how the world works and made some very useful inventions possible. • 13. Hans Albert Einstein And The Life Of Albert Einstein Albert Einstein was born to secular Jewish family in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. Einstein is best known for the development of the theory of relativity, a major structure of physics. However, before he became this revered figure in science, Einstein worked at a patent office in Bern, Switzerland where he developed his first scientific theories. Much of his work at the patent office presented questions about transmission of electric signals and electrical–mechanical synchronization of time, two technical problems that eventually led Einstein to his revolutionary conclusions about the nature of light and the fundamental connection between space and time. While attending college at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic, Einstein met Mileva Maric, with whom he developed a close relationship with. In January 1903, Einstein married Maric, and they later had two children. The first son, Hans Albert Einstein, born in Bern, Switzerland, and the second, Eduard Einstein, born in Zurich July 1910. Einstein and Mileva are believed to have had their first child in 1902, a daughter they named Lieserl, who is believed to have either been given up for adoption or died of scarlet fever. The Physics Of Albert Einstein Robbie Patio BIO 101 Professor Dartley 4/16/15 Albert Einstein Most people know who Albert Einstein is and how great of a physicist he was, yet many aren't aware that Albert Einstein had not even finished high school! Most would think that a person who doesn't complete high school is dumb, and lazy. The fact is, Einstein did not complete high school, not because he was dumb or lazy. At the age of 15, he quit high school because he did not agree with the way the teachers taught. He thought that the teacher's weren't teaching in a way that didn't allow students to freely question or use their creative imagination. Einstein once said "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." By this he shows that he isn't for seeing things the way they seem, and he tends to think deeper into things. He shows that he keeps his mind open, open to learn new things that can't be noticed by a simple glance. Many would also think that one who drops out of high school may not go anywhere in life. Einstein won a Nobel Prize in Physics, a Gold Medal of The Royal Astronomical Society, and many other awards. Even if Einstein never even finished high school, his creation of the equation E = mc2, theory of relativity, and theory of light led the way to him becoming known as the father of modern physics. The second paper he wrote significant predictions about statistical mechanics later confirmed by experiments. The third of Einstein's papers of 1905 proposed what is today called the special theory of relativity. He showed how mass and energy was equivalent. In May of 1905, Einstein submitted another paper that reinforced the kinetic energy theory. His Special Theory of Relativity was born; Einstein submitted yet another paper in June of 1905 on electromagnetism and motion. Since Galileo and Newton, physicists had known that laboratory experiments never revealed a difference between an object at rest and an object moving at a constant speed along a straight line. Objects behave the same way on a uniformly moving ship as they do on an anchored ship; this is the Principle of Relativity. However, according to the electromagnetic theory, light should not obey this principle. This theory predicted that measurements on velociy of light would show the effects of motion. • 23. The Myth Of Albert Einstein With a name synonymous to genius, Albert Einstein is undoubtedly one of the most influential men in modern physics and philosophy of science. Who exactly is Albert Einstein? Born in the German Empire in 1879, Albert Einstein was not thought initially by his peers to be anything special. There is a lot of myth surrounding Einstein's schooling with statements like "Einstein failed math" or "Einstein did bad in school", but these were simply myths and not much more. Einstein did extremely well in school and did amazing in mathematics specifically (having mastered calculus on his own at age 15). The issue was that Einstein had a tendency to skip class and go off on his own doing personal research and discovery. It was in this erratic method of his that caused colleagues and employers to avoid his company and led to the developed opinion that Einstein was not destined for a life of research and discovery. Although Einstein seeked out a position in the sciences, nobody would take him on as an assistant nor a colleague which ultimately led to him becoming a worker at the Swiss patent office. The prospect of Einstein ever entering into the academic stream looked grim. He had derailed his education and reputation. He was disregarded in the scientific community for his poor work ethic and failure to comply with traditional scientific method. However, in 1905 at the age of 26, Einstein went on to publish four papers that changed his academic merit entirely. March saw Einstein's ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some of the other papers that he published include his famous article "On A Heuristic Point of View Concerning the Production and Transformation of Light" in which Einstein described the electromagnetic radiations of light by using Max Planck's quantum hypothesis. Einstein states that "in order for an electron to be removed from the cathode, a given quantity of energy had to be delivered to the atom". This revolutionary publication won him the Nobel Prize in 1921. Another one of his papers was "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies" in which Einstein reveals special relativity. In his paper he describes a stationary clock and a clock in motion: "If at the points A and B of K there are stationary clocks which, viewed in the stationary system, are

  • 27. Albert Einstein Impact Einstein: A World Changer Imagine you are sitting in a room and you look down at your phone as it says it's 1:00 p.m. How do you know it is actually 1:00? If it said 2:00 a.m. would you believe it if it was sunny outside? Without Albert Einstein, we would not have many things including our current understanding of time. Albert Einstein had a positive effect on the future of the world because without his discoveries many of today's inventions would be non–existent. He changed the way scientists view everything from matter and energy, as well as light, Time Magazine even named him the most influential person of the 20th century. Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Württemberg, Germany. He would not remember the place he was born, as his family moved six weeks later to Munich. Albert Einstein grew up in a secular Jewish family. His father Hermann Einstein was a salesman and engineer, and with his brother founded Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein & Cie, a Munich–based company that manufactured electrical equipment. At the age of five, Einstein was given a compass by his father for his birthday. Einstein would become amazed at the unknown behind the compass and would continue this interest in why and how things worked for the rest of his childhood. Growing up, Einstein had trouble with speech and social abilities, and for hours Einstein could play by himself twiddling with anything that amused his mind. This independence made Einstein question authority, often ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In June 1880 the family moved to Munich where Hermann Einstein and his brother Jakob founded the electrical engineering company Einstein & Cie. Albert Einstein's sister Maria was born on November 18, 1881. Einstein's childhood was a normal one, except that to his family's irritation, he learned to speak later than most. In 1884 he received some tutoring in order to get prepared for school. In 1885 he started learning to play violin. The results of his efforts were published in March 1916 in the paper "The Foundation of the General Theory of Relativity". This theory investigates coordination systems which experience acceleration relative to each other and also the influence of gravitational fields to time and space. The Special Theory of Relativity was still intelligible to the average person; this did not apply to the General Theory of Relativity. Due to the relatively small relativistic effects, this theory was difficult to verify experimentally. Einstein predicted the perihelion motion of mercury, the gravitational red shift as well as the deflection of light in a gravitational field. He was convinced that light deflection by the gravitational field of the sun could be observed during a total solar eclipse. After several failed observations of total solar eclipses proof finally came in 1919: On May 29 of that year the English astronomer Arthur Stanley Eddington confirmed Einstein's prediction of light deflection when he observed a total solar eclipse on the volcanic island of Principe in the Gulf of Guinea in western Africa. A second expedition, led by Andrew Crommelin, observed this eclipse in Sobral, Brazil. The official result of these expeditions was announced on November 6, 1919 during a joint meeting of the Royal Society and the Royal Astronomical Society in London. Einstein ... Albert's father started a factory there in Munich. The most charming story was told about the young Albert Einstein when he was 5. He was late to dinner because he was sitting out in the garden thinking under a tree, when he was brought to his father he noticed a small compass on Hermman Einstein's pocket watch. He was fascinated with the little compass and why it always pointed north. School for Einstein was a trying experience. When Adolph Hitler gained power in 1933, Einstein changed his opinion on militarism. He started to tell the nations of Europe that military preparedness is what should be happening in their countries. He realized that the only way to stop Hitler was to meet force with force. (I think he was thinking of Newton's 3rd law which is for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Unfortunately, the opposite reaction was appeasement for the nations of Europe.) Luckily for Einstein he moved to the United States of America before he could become one of murdered people in Nazi Germany. Einstein also used his influence to try and rescue other people from the wrath of Hitler. Einstein used his influence to write a letter to the President of the United States, then Franklin D. As a boy, he hated school, and felt that the regimented and repetitive nature of schooling in Germany at that time had any promise of helping his future. He did not do well in school, mainly because he did not care to learn what was being taught to him. While he seemed to be a bright child, his schoolwork did not interest him, but at the same time the simple compass that his father owned fascinated him. This time not by the students, but by his professors, and because of this, he was unable to obtain a teaching position at the Institute upon his graduation in 1900. The following year, he became a Swiss citizen, and he also wrote his first scientific essay, which was entitled 'Consequences of Capillary Phenomena.' Einstein noted that this was proved the existence of molecules. In 1902, he married Mileva Maric, who had also attended the Polytechnic Institute. Understandably, this doesn't seem like much of a job for such a great mind, but it may have been just the job he needed. The work at the patent office was fairly boring, but it left him the time he needed to do research, and to write on various scientific topics.
