• Inverter sumber tegangan (VSI) telah diperkenalkan dalam
Pelajaran-33. Sebuah gelombang persegi fase tunggal sumber jenis
tegangan inverter menghasilkan tegangan output berbentuk persegi
untuk beban fase tunggal. demikian inverter memiliki kontrol logika
yang sangat sederhana dan switch listrik harus beroperasi pada jauh
lebih rendah frekuensi dibandingkan dengan switch pada beberapa
jenis lain dari inverter, dibahas dalam pelajaran nanti. itu inverter
generasi pertama, menggunakan switch thyristor, adalah inverter
gelombang hampir selalu persegi karena switch thyristor bisa
dinyalakan dan dimatikan hanya beberapa ratus kali dalam satu
detik. di Sebaliknya, hari ini switch seperti IGBTs jauh lebih cepat
dan digunakan pada frekuensi switching
beberapa kilohertz. Seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam Pelajaran-
26, fase tunggal inverter kebanyakan menggunakan setengah
jembatan atau topologi jembatan penuh. Kekuatan sirkuit topologi
ini digambar ulang pada Gambar. 34.1 (a) dan 34.1 (b) untuk
penjelasan lebih lanjut.

Sebuah gelombang persegi fase tunggal sumber jenis tegangan inverter menghasilkan tegangan output berbentuk persegi untuk beban fase tunggal. demikian inverter memiliki kontrol logika yang sangat sederhana dan switch listrik harus beroperasi pada jauh lebih rendah frekuensi dibandingkan dengan switch pada beberapa jenis lain dari inverter, dibahas dalam pelajaran nanti. itu inverter generasi pertama, menggunakan switch thyristor, adalah inverter gelombang hampir selalu persegi karena switch thyristor bisa dinyalakan dan dimatikan hanya beberapa ratus kali dalam satu detik. di Sebaliknya, hari ini switch seperti IGBTs jauh lebih cepat dan digunakan pada frekuensi switching beberapa kilohertz. Seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam Pelajaran- 26, fase tunggal inverter kebanyakan menggunakan setengah jembatan atau topologi jembatan penuh.
