San Bernardino City Unified School District houses one of the largest populations for students with moderate to severe disabilities within the Inland
Empire. Over the past decade San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) has sustained an influx of students who qualify for a moderate
to severe special day classroom (SDC) setting and special education services. Effectively educating youth with moderate to severe disabilities is not a
simplex task, as it requires multifaceted skillsets involving various special education professionals. Developing and executing a service delivery model
that targets student's individual needs, while simultaneously supporting students in strides towards life long goals is crucial. Carmack Elementary is
one of fifty–two elementary schools within SBCUSD that only provides educational services to students with moderate to severe disabilities grades
kindergarten through sixth. The community surrounding Carmack Elementary has been deemed high–poverty, indicating a vast majority of students
who attend Carmack are presumed as low–income status. Lastly, a vast majority of students who attend Carmack Elementary qualify for the free and
reduced meal program offered through the district.

family was close to starving when she was growing up, either way, my mother considered wasting food a sin. Whether I am at a birthday party,

A married couple by the name of Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashleen Malik opened fire at a holiday party on December 2, 2015, at the Inland
Regional Center in San Bernardino. During this shooting spree, 14 people were killed, and 22 were injured with a majority being county
employees and were friends and colleges'. It was approximately 11 a.m. when the couple entered the Inland Regional Center and opened fire. They
opened fire in the employee banquet area where Mr. Farook had been earlier as he attended a work holiday party. It was reported that Mr. Farook had
left angered after getting into a disagreement with a fellow coworker. Quickly after the shooting they escaped into a black SUV leaving behind three
pipe bombs that did not detonate. The televised chase ended in an intense shootout that led to a full muti–agency response, to include the use of
MRAPs and it was also reported that 23 officers fired over 380 rounds (Helton, 2015). Ultimately, the shootout resulted in the death of both Rizwan

20 years ago, when my parents built our house they decided on an area that was half way between my dad's work in north Austin and Texas State

programs, which is why fiscal sustainability is an essential factor in government operations, especially on the local level. It has turned out to be an
immense challenge on every level due to fluctuating operating deficits, tax revenues, and demographics. These issues are similar to the tragedy of the
commons, which occurs when several people try to obtain the largest profit from a common resource. As demand surpasses the supply of the resource,
those who seek personal gain disregard society's well–being and other people are not able to experience the benefits ("Tragedy of the Commons"). The

My Future Goals Of My Life
I am a female who was named after a telenovela, "Abigail" born in Pomona CA and raised in San Bernardino CA. I was named by the name Abigail
because my dad thought it was a beautiful name from the telenovela and it was also in the bible. I thought it was pretty hilarious when he told me. I
turned 18 on September 20th, and was born on the year 1998. I currently attend Cal State San Bernardino and I'm a freshman majoring in Nutrition and

Students nowadays face many challenges when it comes to obtaining a college education. We evaluate an institution's quality based on what we need
the most. The qualities sought out may vary by each person's personal point of view. However, as a student, I've found that most students seek for an
institute that benefits them the most. Attending a community college has been an enormous advantage towards my education. I have been attending San
