• These are the rich experiences that our senses bring from
which we construct ideas.
• The concepts the generalizations that give meaning and
order to our lives.
• In contrast indirect experiences are experiences of other.

-preparing meals
-making a piece of furniture
-doing power point presentation
-delivering a speech
• Examples of Indirect experience
-we can cook spaghetti through watching on TV

mechanical.
• These are not “ mere sensory excitation. “
• Purposeful because these experiences are undergone in
relation to a purpose i.e. learning.
