These are our concrete and firsthand

our learning. These are the rich experiences
that our senses bring from which we

generalizations that give meaning and order
to our lives. (Dale, 1969) In short, they are
sensory experiences.

hearts on approach. This means that
thoughts or meanings following reflection run
the risk of a lesson, direct experience should
be more knowledgeable and effective.
