The Index edged up on Tuesday morning as lenders such as SBI and Axis Bank gained
in market opening. Then after coming key wholesale inflation index market touch the 5
days low, than at the end market cover slightly, spurring hopes the RBI would continue to
cut interest rates. UCO bank 5% and BOB & Federal bank gained near 2% on day’s end.
