We opened the doors at Exhibit Fair International in July of 1997. As part of a new exhibition services company, the job of lead development and marketing became my responsibility. In the beginning we all wore many hats. In 1997 the web was just beginning to explode and it was somewhat of a challenge to convince "Face to Face Marketing" professionals of the importance of a web presence. Initially the team thought the most important part of my job when it pertained to marketing would be that of creating mailers.
