2. MARKET WRAP
The markets bleed today. Sensex close down 245.80 falls 1.16% and the Nifty close
down 70.85 falls 1.12%, marked its third consecutive day of declines since hitting a
record high at the start of the week as Tata Motors slumped after saying its unit Jaguar
Land Rover would increase capital spending. Interest-rate sensitive stocks fell due to
caution ahead of retail inflation. Shares of Tata Motors, ONGC, Coal India, ICICI Bank,
Bajaj Auto, Ambuja Cements, Adani Ent. and IndusInd Bank was down 2.5-4.5 percent.
