The market closed green today. Sensex close up 265.65 gain 1.33% and the Nifty close up 79.05 gain 1.33%, surged more than 1 percent on Wednesday, marking its highest close in nearly 2-1/2 weeks as the September trade deficit narrowed sharply, raising hopes for a significant improvement in the country's current account balance. Software services exporters rose ahead of their earnings results. Infosys Ltd provisionally ended up 2.8%. HDFC 2.7 % & PNB gained more than 2% after falling 1.9% at market opening.
