The markets closed green today. Sensex close up 390.49 gains 1.49% & the Nifty close
up 117.85 gains 1.50%, rose 1.5 percent on Thursday, snapping a three-day losing
streak, as hopes the U.S. Federal Reserve would not rush into raising interest rates
boosted heavyweight banks and blue chips such as BHEL. It was a volatile session for
Infosys ahead of its second quarter earnings that will be announced on Friday morning.
Banks were among other major gainers. SBIN closed up 2.8% while ICICI gained 2.75%.
