We are probably in the most exciting age of human development where technology has brought ‘previously
unimaginable’ comfort and convenience to human life. We have become so powerful that we can even alter the way
the mighty nature works! The most devastating example of this is ‘climate change’ due to which floods, droughts,
storms and extreme weather conditions have become commonplace with damaging consequence to food
production and human health. While most of us run to consolidate our finances, the quality of living, especially the
food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe are only getting poorer. Here comes the dilemma of current
state of development!
Unfortunately precious time ticks away as immediate matters of law & order, unemployment and social concerns
demand attention. While the transition to low-carbon economy seems to be under way, the pace is painfully slow.
We could leave it to the decision makers as we often do…we would rather be the change that we want to see.
We want to begin. This is an invitation for you to be part of the ‘concept workshop’ in which we will build a
shared dream and define a model to achieve the dream. We want to begin the journey of a socially profitable
venture which will surely not give you any personal financial benefit, ever.
It will be a nonprofit gathering of inspired ordinary citizens who are concerned of the unplanned and
unsustainable development. We seek to ensure that all people have clean air, clear water, less-noisy streets, safe
food and clean mechanism of transportation. We strive for a future that is free from threats of global warming and
local pollution. We aspire to secure changes in government policy, corporate practices, and consumer choices that
will protect and improve the health of our environment.
