This document presents a password-based wireless door opener security system. The system uses an HT12E transmitter with switches as a remote to enter a password, which is sent via radio signals to an HT12D receiver connected to a microcontroller and LCD display. If the entered password matches the actual password, the door opens and a message is displayed; otherwise, the door remains closed and a wrong password message is shown. The system provides keyless access automation and security through password protection for homes, offices, and garages.

avoid the incoming of any offenders ,
strangers too.
O We can easily access our garage, home,
offices etc. without the use of any kind of
keys or opening it by ourselves.

4. MAJOR COMPONENTS
USED:-
O Transmitter : HT12E (1).
O Receiver : HTI12D (1).
O Microcontroller : 8051 (1).
O Display : a) LCD (1).
b) LED (5).
O Input : Switches (4).
O Power supply : +5V.
5. TRANSMITTER
• Transmitter that we used here is
HT12E.
• This is a transmitter module used for
RF communication at 433 MHz .
• This module has 4 switches in
conjunction with LED’s.
• Range : 60- 100 m.

7. RECEIVER
• Receiver that we used here is HT12D.
• This is the type of receiver used in
contrast with transmitter work in RF
communication.
• Range : 60-100 m.
10. LCD (liquid crystal display)
•LCD is a cheap and easiest way to display text,
numbers, letters & symbols.
•It comprises of 16 pins .
•It consists of several initialization commands.
namely – specify function Set (38H), display on-
off control (0EH), entry mode set (06H) and
clear display (01H).
11. Working of project
O These are controlled by the switches which are present in
the transmitter part (act as remote) carried by the owner.
O The remote controls were simple and consists of HT12E
transmitter having switches in order to place a
password.
O LCD so present as displaying media is intend to write
the password by displaying a message“ENTER
PASSWORD”
O When the password is entered using switches in
transmitter the corresponding LED glows and HT12D
receiver would respond to the radio signals (only if the
receiver is in the range of transmitter and communication
LED glows).
12. • Microcontroller takes the data from receiver and
provide an interfacing b/w receiver and LCD.The
password so entered is visible in form of **** in
LCD.
• If the entered password is matches with the actual
password, the door will open automatically and a
message is print in LCD saying“DOOR IS OPEN”.
On the other hand, if the password so entered does
not matches with the actual password, the LCD
prints another message saying“WRONG
PASSWORD” and the door will remain close until
or unless the correct or actual password is entered.
