• At cross-dock, the pallet id is scanned and all cartons are scanned onto the pallet
• Pallet is validated for example to check if all cartons on the pallet have the same
destination
• For the newly created pallet(s) a new shipment is created and depending on carrier
integration, this pallet shipment is booked and a shipment label is printed
