Company description
psps consultants has its expertise in supporting Dutch companies trying to enter foreign
markets and –conversely- foreign companies trying to enter the Dutch or Benelux
market. This offered support covers a wide scope of activities such as giving marketing,
communication, intercultural, legal or tax advise.
The psps team is comprised of 7 members who all have their own special subject and
therefore psps can work for it’s individual clients in many different types of branches.
psps is used to project management, which implies pragmatism and result-orientation.
psps is experienced in managing in- and outbound trade development trips for many
years. The “discipline” of these collective trade projects implies being used to achieve
results under time pressure. Due to the broad range of in- and outbound collective trade
trips that psps managed over the years, the company combines practical knowledge and
experience with thousands of business contacts in various sectors.
Furthermore psps works for Dutch and international export promotion organizations such
as Ministries of Economic Affairs, economic development organizations (i.e.
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) and sector organizations ("international support
desks"). These relationships are of a structural nature and in such cases psps acts as the
Benelux trade representative office for a particular foreign region and its individual
companies. This means assisting these companies with their Benelux export, but also
taking part in international roadshows in order to meet companies with export needs 1-
on-1 in their home market.
2. Finally, our work has comprised of a great deal of trade missions for the Dutch foreign
trade promotion agency of the ministry of Economic Affairs (33 outbound missions since
2005). This work has appeared an ideal feeding ground for developing our investment
promotion services for foreign regions, looking to attract Dutch investors.
Principal Biography
Peter E. Sanders is the managing director of psps
consultants. Peter studied Corporate PR/ Communication
(MSc., Boston University) and gained work experience in
marketing and PR companies in Belgium as well as in the
Netherlands. Prior to founding psps consultants he was vice
president at the then largest Marketing & PR agency in the
Netherlands. His areas of expertise are creative industry,
marketing communication, B2B and FDI.
He has worked closely with the Agency for International Business and Cooperation (NL
EVD Internationaal), part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, for many years and
has an extensive network of contacts in a variety of industry sectors, such as information
and communication technologies (ICT), electronics, engineering and healthcare, metal
fabrication, as well as machine building.
Peter has many years of experience in consulting Dutch and foreign companies on
export- marketing- and communications strategies. His mother tongue is Dutch, he is
fluent in English and German and speaks French proficiently.
