PROFILE
I was born in Manchester in the UK. I gained a BA (Hons) degree in French, German & European
Business & Finance from the University of Wales (Cardiff) and continued my studies at the
University of Salford for a Post Graduate Diploma in Translation & Interpreting.
After starting my career as an in-house translator at PSL Europe Limited (Manchester) working
with business, legal, financial & advertising projects, I then moved to Holland to work for Dynamik
East BV where I yet again worked as an in-house translator, proofreader and editor, learning my
trade in many other fields. Therefore, my main fields of expertise include business and finance,
law, logistics, education, oil industry, media and television, medicine and architecture.
I have gained a lot of experience in proofreading and editing foreign language texts and English
texts for publishers worldwide.
After completing a TEFL course I became interested in teaching and developed and taught
language training courses for businesses and schools in English, French and German. In 2009, I
became a Cambridge examiner for International English Language Testing System (IELTS
Examination).
