expand the projects either with in the same
area or other areas.
• This seeks to explain how a department’s
actions on the current project will
unquestionably influence further
opportunities for other projects.
3. Proposed strategy
• Analysis of the ongoing and past projects i.e what are they
addressing, what are the key innovative techniques, , what
are the human rights approaches, what are the social
science approaches e.g. AGE project reusable pads, FIGHT
edutainment and football.
• Findings from the M&E of the project /gap analysis, What
opportunities have you analyzed along side the project?
• Good implementation
• Identification of USP’s through a tailored questionnaire that
seeks to address the SWOT analysis of the project.
• Information utilization how can we use these findings to
better develop other new projects with reference to our
experience?
4. Role of each department
Programs
• Induction of field staff on the projects. What are they doing why are
they doing it , what do they want to learn from it, how best can
they do it in another project.
• Develop a Tailored activity report format/questionnaire because
we want to learn from every activity and how best it can be done in
another project.
• Tailored well designed and visually attractive PDF reports that
address the organizational approaches and influence on the
beneficiaries.
• Do we have quality pictures that reflect all our previous work?
• Success stories developed from the field for each project.
5. Project development department
• Analysis of tailored activity reports and how best we can include
other social science approaches, human rights approaches,
innovative/technological approaches basing from the experience.
• Publication of the high standard quality reports on the website and
a link provided on each proposal that relates to the past project
done.(can somebody doing research get relevant information on
the website?)
• Adoption of the findings from the gap analysis report and how we
can incorporate the social science approach, technology and human
rights approach depending on the proposal call.
• How updated and attractive is the website

• How best can we price our approaches?
• How best can we present the budgets of the
project?
• Advise on the good saving approaches visa vi
good implementation

• Do we have all the documents in the right
places?
• What is my impression when I visit your office
to discuss business?
• How informed are you to give me the basic
information on what the organization does?
• How quick are you to respond and refer me to
any other source of information that may be
beyond your capacity.

• Besides the reports, how prepared are they to
convince the donors that their work best
describes the organisation’s approaches.
• Do they know what they are doing and why?
• NB:In this sense the “WHY” seeks to learn new
findings from the project and how best we can
use the findings in other projects.
