5. Closer analysis: Adults
There is a 51.9% against this maximum limit. This low
percentage could be because the information on mass media
and social media influences the way people think about
refugees, sometimes seen as a problem/menace.
There is a difference in the percentage if we relate the answers
to migratory backgrounds.
People with migratory backgrounds: 58% are against the limit
People with NO migratory backgrounds: 51% are against
6. Closer analysis: Adults versus Teens
It is also shocking that there is quite a big difference if we
compare the percentage of adults and teens that agree with
this maximum limit
Adults: 48,1 % agree with the limit
Teens: 61.7 % agree with the limit

8. Our opinion:
The obtained answers show us that the society is
starting to accept migrants and refugees in a better
way.
We think that giving immigrants an economic
support in order to introduce them in the society is
fundamental for them to stay in the country they
have travelled to.
9. 9. Money or other benefits for refugees should be linked to the
acquisition will for the Spanish language.

10. Our opinion:
Wethink that it doesn’t matter if you can talk
Spanish or not.
We also think that the 65.4% answered this because
they may think that you can’t work in some jobs
without knowing Spanish.
Connection with a high Nationalist feeling? (Quite
popular at the moment with the Catalonian
independence)

diversity and that they think that diversity is
really enriching for our society, so it is a very
positive answer.
14. 12. In the last two years have you visited any
informational events regarding refugees?
ADULTS TEENS
Great difference in the answers here. Teens have been
dealing with the topic at school, so the difference makes
sense.

18. Questions 13,14,15:
We are going to analyse these questions together because they deal with
the integration of migrants and refugees in our society:
Relation at school or work depends on the situation, you cannot
completely decide, you have classmates, colleagues… (76%, 89%)
Relation with your neighbours is something more free, you can decide
and choose (60%, 61%)
Relation with friends is a really tight bond, a stronger indicator of the
integration that begins at schools. (75%, 78%)
Results are similar for adults and teens, except in relation at school or
work, quite higher for teens.
19. 16. How often do you specifically inform yourself about the topic of
refugees or migration (e.g. using the internet, newspapers, radio...)?
ADULTS

TEENS

Answers 1, 2, 3:

20. Opinion:
There is again a great difference between adults and teens:
42,3% of the adults often look for information about refugees
and migrants: Low values of interest in the topic, maybe
because the information we find in mass media is sometimes
intentionally directed about other topics: sports, politics, etc.
Only 27,6% of the teens look for information. Related to
reading newspapers, watching news?
