Stereotypical gangsters are seen driving expensive cars and later holding a gun, showing their force. Women are sexualized through provocative dress and actions. Unconventional images like a topless car wash and elderly woman kissing young men subvert norms and build strangeness. 2 Chainz is presented at the beginning and end, implying his different lifestyle is repetitive.

1. We open to a shot of palm trees, this represents California, rich colours reveal eccentric or
different themes from rap which Is stereotypically dark and angry

2. We see a face shot of “2 Chainz” as if he is not bothered by the camera, this reveals him to be a
man of business and power.

3. 2 Chainz is surrounded by rich materials, he is on a boat with expensive and fine looking pillows,
his clothing which seems to be leopard print is different and matches the song title

4. We see two men dressed as stereotypical gangsters, driving an expensive and white car we can
distinguish they are men of wealth.

5. We see a police officer, unlike the gangsters he looks angry whilst the gangsters looked casual
and unfazed, he represents the law and a different side of violence

6. With the gangster holding up a gun we can see he is a force to be reckoned with, matching my
original analysis he is continuing with stereotypical gangster.

7. The gangsters are seen above the police officer, they have deprived him of his authority and are
now seen as even more powerful.

8. These women are sexualised through their dress and facial features, the woman on the left is
looking seductive and casual, they are drinking and are therefore living a free life, they do not
listen to society and drink when they want, this portrays them as rebels or “different”

9. The gender roles have been subverted here, with a man doing a “topless car wash” the music
video continues with the theme of difference and strangeness

10. The red lollipop represents passion and lust, these women are continued to be sexualised and
creates the stereotypical genre convention of rap, being sex, wealth and power

11. 2 Chainz is shown again with his fingers up, he is seen as an intimidating figure because of this,
his strange dress creates a mysterious element to his character.

12. This woman is made to be different, the continuous themes of difference relate to the title and
commercial exhibitionist theme

13. Here a elderly woman is dressed like a 20 year old girl, kissing younger boys this is seen as
strange, she takes a picture to show she is either vain or proud.

14. This old black man continues the different theme and the director of the music video seems to
be building a climax of strangeness, as weirder and weirder things continue to happen we are
shown the last shot..

15. The climax is reached with 2 Chainz at the end, he is shown as the most different after many
continuingly strange shots. The director could also be saying that by showing 2 Chainz at the
beginning and end shots that his lifestyle is repetitive, he lives the same different way day in day
out.
