3. LYRICS Rappers usually think of lyrics by putting there own emotion into the words by rapping about there life and more recently there heritage. They also rap about gun crime and drugs. “drop the mixtape that s*** sounding like a album, who’d of thought a countrywide tour would be the outcome, labels want mine name but sign x like malcolm” “Life is such a f*****' rollercoaster then it stops/But what should I scream for, this is my theme park” he uses rollercoaster as a metaphor for life meaning it has its up and downs but you should stand up to life because its your world. “
4. Gun and Drug Crime A stereotype of a rapper is a gangster who takes drugs and is in a gang, this is because there is a lot of gun crime and drugs mentioned in there songs and because some rappers are associated with it. A example is that lil Wayne is in jail now because the police found a gun on his bus and said it was his. The strangest thing about this is the policeman didn’t actually know which person on the bus was lil Wayne he had to ask his fellow policemen. Another example is that tupac shakur and Notorious BIG were both killed in hit and run attacks. Compton in California has a really bad name because of gangs and there have been quite a few rappers emerge from here which adds to rappers being known for gangs and gun crime.
