The reason why indie was our chosen genre this is because in most indie music videos characters expresses their feelings in to situations that they have been through in their lives. This music video is mainly a narrative this is because its made up of a constructive format story based on relationships. <br />The chasing pavement video shows us that Adele is expressing her feelings to the audiences this is because her previous relationship her boyfriend cheated on her, which has lead to conflict. <br />However the second screenshot below signifies that the couple embracing and then the woman hands the man a break-up letter and turns over to the shadowy figure representing another man. This is because she is chasing pavements, which will lead to not solving her problem. <br />Focus lighting is often used in the album this connotes that she’s a strong character.<br />Low-key lighting is also used in the album cover, which shows that she has a strong sense of feelings towards relationship.<br />Her facial expressions tell the audience that she feels insecure and scared.<br />Visuals and Lyrics of the music:<br />The name of the soundtrack “chasing pavements” connotes, how in reality, the man and the woman have there back turned and lie motionless after the disaster for e.g. the car crash incident. However during the chorus when she's referring to chasing pavements, they seem to move towards each other and seem to be compromising that relationship shown in this screenshot. <br />0540385The visuals of the relationship themes in chasing pavements has dramatic two-dimensional dance that has a man and a woman falling in and out of love.<br />
