The technology can employ up to 50% filler that can be practically anything else in the waste stream like old
rags, corn husks, saw dust, etc. The more fibrous fillers actually help add to the integrity of the end product.
The low heat requirements of the molding process saves additional energy and cost.
The products generated can be re-recycled through this process 5 to 10 times due to the low heat process.
This doesn’t break down the polymers that make a typical post-consumer single resin-type plastic product only
available for reuse once maybe twice.
