power artificial muscles made of
smart materials (multiwall carbon
nanotubes, nickel-titanium shape
memory alloy and platinum
nanoparticles).
• Chemical reaction activates
articulation of jellyfish bell for
mobility
• Byproduct is water vapor which
doesn’t adversely affect the
ocean (zero emission).
• Design is sustainable due to the
possibility of scavenging
hydrogen from ocean (indefinite
life ).
