Monique Kappiah, known as ‘Mulan’ is an 19 year old Alternative R&B singer who grew up in the
centre of South East London. Before she hit the TV Screens and was partying on stage for
Wireless and Itunes Festivals she was always at Shoreditch Box Park where under the cool
summers and crisp winters she would be getting the crowd excited for her new set.
Before this though, Mulan attended SFX where she studied Media, English and Photography,
however her love for music always shone throughout her which was seemingly evident as
Miguel’s PR found her at a gig and used his connections to sign her up for Island Records.
Mulan’s ideologies follow “Creativity and Individuality of youth being key”
Promotion of Artist
Promotion of my artist will include features with upcoming alternative R&B artists such as
Childish Gambino, Jhene Aiko and Tink, as well as the usual promotions through festivals
and magazines.
