Congratulations to the Boys Cricket Team who played in a Cricket Tournament at

Southport and Birkdale Cricket Club on May 26th.
They played against Larkfield, Ainsdale St. Johns and Shoreside, beating Larkfield. 6C: Lewis Harwood (Gold)
The following children took part: Simon Gradwell, Matthew Howard, Tom Stewart,
Jordan Hellawell, Joshua Wright, Alex Nevins, Aaron Richards, Thomas Leddy, Charlie
Gray, David Berry, Callum Roughley and Liam Campbell.
An enjoyable day was had by all! Thank you to Southport and Birkdale Cricket Club for
hosting the event and Asda for their generous supply of food and drinks.

3. SUMMER FAIR
This is week three of the weeks for themed donations for the summer fair (21st June) Tombola week, items for children
and adults please.
Please return any Summer Fair raffle tickets by Friday 25th June. Also we would be very grateful if any of you could help

Shinewaves competition
Last week’s competition was to create a new cartoon
character. This was a very popular competition with
lots of entries. The winner from, 4JP, with an
unnamed Samurai character was Jake Pagan.
Congratulations Jake.

Now to this week’s competition. The Magna Carta,
one of English history’s most important documents,
was signed in 15 June 1215 between the barons of
Medieval England and King John. This week’s
competition is to find out about the Magna Carta.
