Reaction Paper On Deviant
I was raised by my grandparents who had many rules and taught me that it would be disrespectful
not to follow them, so it was hard for me to complete the three deviant acts to write this paper. I
have spent my life following social norms to the best of my ability, even ones that seems absurd to
me. The object of this assignment frightened the heck out of me and I truly wasn't sure if I was
going to be able to complete it. The unspoken rule that I chose to break was the infamous 'standing
in a line & waiting your turn' rule, I chose to cut into the line without saying anything at all. The
first time I decided to do my deviant act was while standing in line at the Tim Hortons at St. Paul's
Hospital, which was especially hard for me because I've been going there for the past four years to
visit my mother. There was about 12 people standing in the line when I walked up to it and
remembered that I needed to do my deviant act and that now was as good a time as any. I felt very
nervous about what I was planning to do and honestly a little afraid because the area isn't exactly the
greatest area's in the city. I stood at the back of the line for about 2 minutes trying to mentally
prepare for what I was going to do. I finally built up the courage to walk ahead and cut into the line,
leaving only one person ahead of me. No one said a single word to me, but I did notice one of the
workers looking towards the line and laughing. I literally could feel the blood rushing to my face,
but

Descriptive Essay About My Wife
My wife is a lovely woman who is surrounded by people who love her, has food to eat, clothes to
wear, and a roof over her head, but often spends her time wondering about the things she doesn't
have in life. These things being jewelry, fancy clothes, lots of money, and an overall luxurious life
style. I want to give her all these things and give her a chance to go out. So I spent a very long time
working to get an invitation to The Minister of Education and Mme Georges evening reception. One
day I finally received the invitation and rushed home.
I walked inside my home, closed the door behind me,took off my coat and hung it up, walked into
the kitchen to see my wife, envelope in hand with excitement. I walk up to my wife and greet her, I
hand her the envelope and she begins to tear it open. I watch and listen as she pulls out the envelope
and begins reading it, when she's done I expect to see her face lit up with happiness but am
disappointed when I see her expression change drastically. She seems angry and sad at the same
time. Its complete silence as she throws the letter onto the table. I'm about to ask if she is ok when
she stops me and murmurs the words "What good is that to me?"
I am almost at a lost of words and confused. "But, my dear, I thought you would be thrilled to death.
You never get a chance to go out, and this is a real affair, a wonderful one! I had an awful time
getting a card. Everybody wants one. You'll see all the most important people there." Then

My Best Friend
This is the story of my high school best friend and me, and how our lives took different paths
regardless of what we thought and what we assumed. My friend and I met in a unique way. At that
time, I was working for my dad and needed a helper for the job I was performing. I, first told
another friend about the job opportunity, which he agreed to take, but on the first day of work he had
already changed his mind about working with me and asked another of his friends to take his place.
This is how I met the guy that would later turn into my best–friend in my high school years. His
name was Albert, he was a year younger than I was, but he talked like if he were five years older
than I was; he sounded convincing, and I had no reason to doubt him. I began to build an association
of him with a guy that had been schooled by life, he would always have something to say about
everything, it was like if in his short life span he had gone through mayor life lessons that he felt
open to share with newbies like me. As time continued to pass, our relationship started growing, as
well as my suspicions to everything he would tell me; I soon learned that he would probably make a
great writer, due to his immense imagination. I would just listen to him and ask questions to which
he would always have answers to. "Should I ask Bianca on a date, or just continue with the
friendship we have?" I would ask, "Take her on a date, but don't rush it," he would reply. "But, do I
go for a kiss, or should I

Descriptive Essay About A House
It was a dark brown house with red shutters. It was placed up on a hill so in the winter it was so
difficult to pull the car in the garage. Inside, the walls were tan and mustard yellow. It was plain in
the house but I didn't expect much. It smelt like the over–done scentsy that I put in. It was called
apple–butter and that's exactly what the house smelt of. It was three stories and the basement was
half finished. I painted the door a dark red and it made the whole house stick out. I remember it
being so welcoming and now when I think about it, I get a cold shiver down my spine. There were
holes in some of the walls from things being thrown. The front doors lock was splitting apart, the
trim on the sides on the door was broken off. If those walls could talk I would go back in there for a
day just to listen. I was 17 years old and moving out on my own. My dad had a rental house and
decided we would move me in. My daughter and I had been staying at my dad's for about 6 months.
My step–mom has never liked my dad's children so she would consistently ask my dad when we
were leaving. I was sitting in the basement where our room was. It was a bright blue and usually it
was so nice to walk into. I heard my dad and step–mom yelling upstairs. My dad was arguing that he
didn't want her son staying at our house because he used heroin. My dad is a lawyer in town. He's
always been pretty uptight and firm. She was arguing that she wanted me to leave. There was really

Hair Dye Research Paper
Dyeing your hair for the first time can be a wonderful experience. To avoid any disappointment, we
will be providing you some tips to avoid any unpleasant surprise for this first experience.
Buy enough dye
Depending on the length of your hair and also your desired color, you might need to purchase more
than one box of hair dye. For instance if you have shoulder–length hair, you might want to ensure
that you have 3 or 4 boxes of hair dyes at hand. It is better that you have more than enough dye
rather than panicking halfway during your dyeing session.
Choose the correct formula
Not all hair dyes are created equal and it is important that you choose the one that best suits you.
People with sensitive skin might want to go for dyes that are foamier in appearance. This will ...

This will avoid any unnecessary strain on your hair and also minimize the amount of upkeep you
need. You can gradually go for darker colors if you want but keep it real for the first time. Also
choosing a lighter color will allow you to make corrections in case you do not like it. It is easier to
darken hair in case you do not like it.
Skin tone
When choosing a color for the first time make sure that you choose a shade that is appropriate for
your skin tone. Some people just want their hair to look like their friends without paying attention to
their own skin color. Browse the web for celebrities that have similar skin tone with you and check
out their hair color. Choose something that is appropriate and not just fashionable.
Do not wash your hair
It is easier to dye unwashed hair because the natural oil found in your scalp protect it from any harsh
chemical irritant. If you know that you are going to dye your hair soon just skip washing your hair.
At the same time, this facilitates combing which can be useful for even color distribution.

My Perspective Of Information Management: My Perspective
Information Management: My Perspective
When people talk about information management, what is the first thing that comes in their mind? A
person might say that information management be situated as an individual or organisation
managing information. But, do they know that there is more than just managing information in the
information field? However, just like everybody else, the same thought has comes across my mind
when I first heard of the words information management a few years ago. But the thought has
changed ever since I realised how essential information is. As of now, we live in the information age
where information is a necessity and is vital for us in order to become a somebody that is not only
has a lot of knowledge but also to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And if the information is not being organised correctly, it will affect the productivity and the
performance of a person, organisation and such. For instance, when there is an excessive
information and it is not being managed in a correct way, the information will not be acknowledge
and it will be forgettable in a short term. And if the information may be useful to the society or a
person, it would be a waste if the information is not being acknowledged and being managed
correctly. Who knew, the information might be giving the society or a person a big and positive
impact on their life. And if any organisation, company or institutions did not manage their
information or data correctly, it might increase the risk of their private or confidential information
being exposed to public or stolen by irresponsible parties. In addition, as being said before, if the
information not being managed correctly, it may affect the productivity of a person or organisation,
as we can see, if the information is not being kept systematically, it will take up a lot of time if we
want to look for any information that we have already kept or if we want to retrieve our pervious
works. It is not only wasting time, but also might cause a financial loss to a company or any

The Characteristics Of Batm The Hero Of The Batman
Heroes exist all around us, fictional or not. They inspire us and often set us on a path of goodness
and justice. USUALLY. Most heroes, realistically aren't as good as we create them to be. Batman for
instance, is one of those heroes. Batman or Bruce Wayne, is Gotham's protector; a fabricated city in
Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. A graphic novel where the batman has long retired after the
death of his heroic sidekick robin, and his sudden return to battle the crime–ridden metropolis.
Furthermore, while the batman's actions seem noble and heroic; his means of attaining this dream of
a just and uncorrupt Gotham was always twisted. Bruce is an excellent example of mealy–
mouthedness, speaking one way but having contradicting actions; devious and insincere. But is it
entirely? He fights against evil, fights against infamy with his own sense of integrity. Does that
make him the villain himself? It's the controversy surrounding this HERO, is he selfless and trying
achieve goodness? Or selfish enough to put any matter of lives at risk to end one evil? I'm willing to
bet the latter.
Following Book 1, Batman reenters the crime–fighting scene; swinging across gotham taking care
of the petty crimes he runs across in the dark. Dealing with armed gunmen in a arcade, the feared
MUTANTS. A gang against Gotham and it's citizens, bunched up as a bunch of kids who don't know
any better. A terribly wrong assumption. Here in this scene he saves a woman named Carrie Kelly,

Fighting Without Knowledge Will Hurt Essay
In this era of information overload, our brains are bombarded by so many different news outlets it
can be difficult to choose which channel you want to watch. With all the accusations of liberal or
conservative bias dominating the feuds between the cable news channels, it would be easiest to
choose the channel that we believe best fits our own ideological views. When you look at MSNBC
and Fox News the ideologies seem to be completely opposite, but they have some similarities. Both
are accused of having either a liberal or a conservative bias and it is not very difficult to tell which
side the outlet leans toward, because of their constant bickering back and forth.
Fox News Channel may have an abundance of conservative opinion programs ... Show more content

To some this seems absurd, but it is what his base group wants to hear. Whereas on the other side,
you have pundits like Ed Schultz who never criticize the current president, no matter what follies he
may commit, he only demonizes the previous one, again playing to the beliefs of his following. It is
the constant bickering between the people of opposing political ideologies that make the news
difficult for the common man to take with a grain of salt.
Beck often uses what seem to be scare tactics to get of his points across; whereas Schultz is more
likely to give you his own opinion mixed in with some facts to make it all seem completely true.
Neither method is successful in trying to create a balanced news outlet. In fact, the opinions of each
side are grounded so far in the left or right that the middle is impossible to find. I purpose that Beck
should visit MSNBC for a time, while Schultz takes a turn at FNC. Even though the notion of these
dyed in the wool party supporters walking in the shoes of their polar opposites may seem absurd, but
I believe that it would tone both of them down. I hope that it would give each a reality check and it
would bring much needed balance to the cable channels. If the hosts were open to other people's
opinions, no matter how different they were from their own, it would make the American people feel
more trusting toward news people in general and give both extremes a sense of

Dear Theresa, Really? 60!? Wow I can remeber when you were 30yrs old and I was 20 yrs old and
me teasing you for being SO much older than me, of course you always looked so much younger
than me. I met Theresa in the fall of 1987. We were sitting somewhat close to each other in a
business class at NMSU when I asked Theresa a question( "do you want to go to the George Strait
concert'?) , little did I know that would lead to a life long friendship. During my college years
Theresa was such a source of motivation when I just didn't think I had what it took to complete an
accounting assignment she was by my side helping through the process. She was a source of
wisdom, many times she would say " Things happen for a reason and they always turn out for the
better" throughout my life I find myself reciting those same exact words and think of my dear friend
Theresa given all the obstacles she has and she always had a positive outlook on whatever the

Essay On My Life Experience
Each day we all experience things that are extraordinary and sometimes unforgettable. Yet it's how
we let those experiences impact us individually that makes us each unique. An experience in my life
that changed how I acted, thought, and felt was the first time I volunteered at my church during their
summer "scamp" sessions. The "scamp" sessions aimed to make the lessons correlate to things the
kids would do during summer camps. Serving at one of these session allowed the year round
volunteers to continue serving if they wanted, but also have the ability to take a vacation and enjoy
the church's service. Although life offers a multitude of life changing experiences, serving at
Mecklenburg Community Church for the first time was greatest experience because I gained
connections in my community, learned strong leadership skills and gained a desire to serve others
first. It all began when I attended my first "scamp" session and I had several opportunities for jobs
outside of the church over the summer and translating into the school year. The first time I served at
Meck I was able to meet and be introduced to three families at the church who later reached out to
me for weekly opportunities to work with their kids. In seeing the kids both in and outside of church
over the summer "scamps" I gained more insight of their lives and personalities. One specific family
that I met the first time I volunteered was the Harris family. I made a close bond with their youngest

Humorous Wedding Speech by the Best Man Essay
Humorous Wedding Speech by the Best Man
When Daniel came to me and asked me to be his best man, it was a great honour but, when I looked
at all the duties required of me, I felt he'd be better off choosing someone else. Then he offered me a
fifty, but I told him that it wasn't a decision that money could change. So then he offered me a
hundred.
Anyway, good evening Ladies and Gentlemen – My name is Rob and it's my pleasure to be Daniel's
best man today.
So let me tell you about all those best man duties that originally concerned me, because I was
immediately stumped by the first one: 'ensure that the groom's face and hair are in order.' Well
Daniel, I have to say that if nature didn't get them in order the first time around, ... Show more

Now, I hope you also noticed that, as well as on time, the bridegroom arrived sober – another
achievement which shouldn't be underestimated. Because Daniel does enjoy a drink from time to
time, and at one point he even attempted to brew his own beer. Now most people would use berries,
fruits or flowers to produce alcohol. But Daniel was the first to try fermented goats milk. He
believed his beer would have nutritive value and while you may not find his brew on the off license
shelves, you will still find it bubbling away in Daniel's bedroom. I just hope he hasn't brought a
barrel of it along today in attempt to save a few quid.
Which reminds me, I was astonished to learn, that by tradition, I am supposed to bring a cheque
book or credit card to settle any payments the bridegroom may have forgotten. I wasn't too happy
about this, because everyone who has ever lent Daniel money has one thing in common ... nothing!
Kim, if ever you need the house to yourself or some time apart from Daniel, just lend him some
money – you won't see him for days.
The most enjoyable best man duty is of course arranging the stag weekend. And I'm delighted to say
that it passed without incident or disaster – or at least that's what I thought until the hotel returned
my deposit, minus a £50 cleaning fee for room 27 and a complimentary plastic mattress cover. There
were 12 of us on the trip and

"Awe you look so cute!" Jillian exclaims nearly every day when she sees me walk out of my room to

Her favorite outfits usually consist of athletic leggings paired with a fitted shirt underneath a baggy

has a light brown hue with streaks of honey mingling with the brown. If looks could kill, everyone
in Jillian's path would be dead. Jilly's resting face looks like she hates everyone and everything, so
people are generally fearful when they first see her. Once people get over their fear of Jillian's
natural face, they realize she couldn't hurt a fly. Jillian is always looking for ways to help me. One of
the biggest ways she's helped me is by introducing me to the youth ministry at Oak Bridge. When I
think of Jillian, church is one of the first things to come to my mind. Going to The Edge, which is
the name of our ministry, with Jillian is the thing that I look forward to every week. Looking over in
the middle of a song and seeing her smiling face as she sings her praises lights me up. When I'm

Reflection Paper
Everyone at some point in their life has had the dream where they are falling, but they never actually
hit the ground. This dream is symbolic of life. Regardless of how far you fall you never hit the
ground. A friend of mine, currently in pharmacy school, confides in me about how he wishes that he
had done things my way, the right way as he calls it. Nevertheless, I did not grasp what he meant so
one day, I implored him to explain. According to him, the "right," way is by not failing classes the
first time, finishing college in 4 years, and be smart about taking the MCAT. Essentially, not
screwing up the first time, so you can continue with your goals the first time around instead of
getting older and wasting time. While my friend may have been right in some aspects, my personal
experiences have taught me that there really is no right way. However, life does not ultimately work
out the way one imagines. You do fail, you do break down, you are frightened and you learn to get
up regardless of the circumstances. This life lesson has been instilled into me for the past five years
from my experiences that also lead me to want to become a doctor. In my teenage years, I
volunteered with a nursing and later with Hospice Advantage where I mainly socialized and helped
the nurses with activities for the residents. Talking to the elderly you learn to not only appreciate the
life that you have but you have the advantage to learn from their mistakes. You see love rise from

The addition of the following situations in the information management system of ABC Complete

grandma. She felt a sense of pride and full of joy when being along her side. "I always felt her gray

negativity also benefitted her in a way. If it wasn't for those fights in which she would get into, she
would not spend as much time as she liked with her grandma. With all the time spent with her

I Am My Own Villain And Procrastination
It's a race to the finish line in a typical workday in my world, and that finish line is what I label to be
the time clock. I have allowed this small, compact technology device that is screwed into the
concrete wall, to control my life Monday through Friday. I know without a doubt, that if I punch that
small button on time, the rest of my day is guaranteed to be smooth sailing. You see, I'm not a
person that wakes up refreshed, smelling the Folders coffee in the morning, while birds are singing
beautifully to me. I purposely pile on the stress and it creates this anxiety in my life, mainly in the
mornings while racing to get ready and drive to work. I have no understanding to why I do this to
myself, but I am my own villain and procrastination is my toxic poison. There are many people that
have morning routines that they follow while getting ready, but me, I do whatever I want, when I
want, and because of that, my morning time is limited. Some days I do not have time to pack a
lunch, or even take our two dogs out to pee. Since my husband works third shift, I depend on him to
come home and do it for me. Making the first move to get out of bed is always the toughest, plus
getting ready for work is a preparation from hell. Then, I have to hustle and bustle, and drive like a

I performed in depth research to get all of the necessary information about this profession. The more
I found out about it, the more persuasive it became. Being a pilot pays very well, but requires good
physical health and a decent amount of money invested into the training. I have always had very
poor eyesight, which would limit the career choices I would have in this field. While I still dream of
flying my own airplane to this day, I have decided to wait until my other priorities and goals are
accomplished.
Many factors came into play when I decided to give up on becoming an architect. I have always
been amazed by creative, well–built structures. I have been to many extraordinary buildings
designed by the renowned Frank Lloyd Wright. After doing extensive research on this particular
field, I found out that they are paid very well. However, on the other hand, one must build their
name up before given the chance to build revolutionary structures. Also, many years of college are
required before one can be a very well respected architect. In general, this career choice seemed like
a gamble, as well as an aggravation.
After going over all of the options that have been placed before me, I have finally decided to pursue
a career in computers. I have been raised in the era when computers were making their first
appearance in people's homes. When I was a very small child, I started exploring the

Charlie-Personal Narrative
I sit on a scuffed wooden bench in the company of a lone stroller. Charlie is tucked inside, sleeping
peacefully. I woke up early this morning for no reason in particular. Perhaps I'm subconsciously still
trying to make up for lost time, being with Charlie and soaking up as much sunlight as possible. The
entire town had longed for anything but a gray sky since the beginning of winter and today was
finally that day. Spring was coming. The last of the snow has slowly melted away, along with
everyone's puffy coats and holiday spirit. Although this morning began quite nippy, any chill
disappears as the sun rises higher in the sky. Today, I watch the small town awake and begin it's

It's a rare occurrence to see a car in this town, and we both take a moment to gape with morbid
curiosity. No doubt, it's someone just passing through the town; entering one minute and out before
the next. I squint into the distance and study the approaching car. I shield my eyes from the sun
reflecting from the windshield to get a better look. It could be a trick of the light, but the car seem to
be veering off the road, speeding straight at us. _____ In an instant, these lives have forever been
changed. One moment there was a successful businessman, a striving mother and a bright, young
man. The next, a man–slaughterer, an accident witness and a corpse. An entire world of possibility
was crushed along with every bone in Andrew's body, the expensive steel frame of Mr. Caravero's
car and Anne's hopeful spirit. The once ordinary morning was now filled with the sounds of distant
sirens approaching, Mr. Caravero's car alarm blaring and a baby wailing. Anne gathered her child
quickly into her arms, hugging him tightly and thanking her lucky stars that it wasn't her boy. Her

My Favorite Place At The Lisbon Lepper Library
First of all, community service elicits compassion and understanding otherwise difficult to view in
everyday life. When volunteering to help organizations, causes, or people one 's time is not being
used for just a singular outcome but several diverse establishments. Not only do efforts aid in
promoting positive impacts in one 's society but also in one 's own character.
I frequently chose to volunteer at the Lisbon Lepper Library, a public library where copious amounts
of people choose to spend their free time, because I was able to aid in various departments and
interact with diverse groups of patrons. My favorite place to contribute to in the library was the
Children 's Department due to the enthusiasm and need apparent in those patrons. I had the honor of
meeting hundreds of children through my volunteer work, all of which carried unique burdens but
always wore a smile and were able to put one on me too. Two young girls in particular were
inspiring to me. These girls each came from difficult circumstances; yet, when together appeared to
never have experienced a worry. Although, I would be helping the department put on educational
programs for the patrons there was not a time when those two girls did not find a way to teach me
something too. Whether they came racing up to share interesting facts they found in the nonfiction
section, a topic they enjoyed at school that day, or a trick they learned from their friends their
appreciation of knowledge and their excitement to

Reflection Paper
After I graduated from high school, I decided to become a missionary, an experience I have drawn
as a portrait. "Portraying" is my way of reaching and describing people and moments who are
difficult to grasp. I'm currently stationed in the Mayan Zone of Cancun, Mexico, and I am aware of
the conditions that shape my experience. Before coming here, even though I had not perceived the
true details that composed this place, I held on to expectations of what it would be like; I knew I was
going to engage with Mayan communities; with the terminally ill and elderly; with children and
youth made vulnerable due to poverty and addictions; and with jailed women. Being raised in El
Salvador, a developing country, gave me a general idea of what my gap year would show me.
However, once I got here, I found myself looking for faces I could draw, and expressions that I
could feel. I was enthralled, and I could focus only on capturing the emotions that surrounded me.
I immersed myself in the community, I lived with families in straw–thatched and mud–brick homes,
learned bits of the Mayan language and culture and participated in different programs offered by the
foundation "La Ciudad de la Alegría." In some of these programs, I shared stories with the
community's elders and performed facial and physical therapies with HIV/AIDS affected persons.
These soon became the most enriching aspects of my missionary year.
Those adventures revealed to me the "eyes" of the mission. They instructed me to

Elie Wiesel Diary Entries
Hello. It's been seventy years since we met, and here we are: still alive. I was ten years old, an
emaciated little girl with ragged hair. You were a soldier, and you saved me. Had I remained in the
concentration camp any longer, I would have died. Although I was there just a few months (having
been discovered a short time before the war ended), my entire family–my mother, father, and sister–
managed to perish in the flames of the crematorium. But when you stood inside the barbed wire with
me, carrying the flag that bears freedom, I knew I could not burn with them. I only survived because
you liberated me. Even though I came to America shortly after, I did not think I would be able to
find you... but seventy years later, I have. Now that I have found you, I just want to know a few
things. How did you feel when you discovered my camp? You may not have known about them
previously (since these camps were secrets to the world), so it may have shocked you. What did you
think of gas chambers, the crematoria, and the mass pits full of deceased Jews? I still remember
them; their memory bothers me no longer, though. I have not healed... one does not heal after seeing
those things. I ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

You smiled, too. Why did you give me your only piece of chocolate? I know I looked horrendous,

hesitation? You and your fellow soldiers pitied us Jews, and we were rarely fed, so you must have
known that too much food would have made me ill. It was just chocolate. Finally, are you still
haunted by the visions of the concentration camps? The bodies dumped into mass graves, the
barracks full of poor sick and dying souls, the ashes of the ones already lost... do these things still
haunt you? These scars do not heal. I have not healed, so I suspect you have not,

The Life Of My Life
Here I am now, standing under these lights, I hear a thunderous applause, my heart is beating fast.
Everyone is looking at me with a smile on the face. I can see my parents sitting in the front seats
looking at me so proudly. They are glad telling other people that I am their daughter. After this hard
time, I can finally speak like a normal person, not only that, and now my words can reach people's
hearts, change lives and bring hope to others who their lives turned into darkness so suddenly as
what happened to me. I was an average student with no difficulties at all. I had many friends and
enjoyed my life to the fullest. Everything was going well until we moved to another city. Although I
would really miss my teachers and friends, I was excited to go to a new place as it was the first time
moving away from our town. One day, my mother was so busy unpacking our things in the new
house. She asked me to go and buy some groceries from the nearby market. It was too calm and
peaceful outside, but when I was about to reach the market, a car came out of nowhere with a very
high speed. I was shocked. In an instant, I found myself lying on the ground. I could not move an
inch of my body. I was only staring at the sky flabbergasted. I did not know what was happening,
and my mind was blank. The people were gathering around me. Gradually, all the colors were

Love And Love : The Influence Of Love
Destiny, it's an odd concept to wrap your head around. Often its questioned if one creates it or is it
already written. After meeting this young lady, her life merged with mine in a way that reassured
this belief. Ten years ago, I met her for the first time as she chased down the school bus making it
just in time to walk on with a head full of long black hair and a puffy gold jacket that reminded me
of the 80's. Pretending to look carelessly out the divided bus window, I would secretly wish she
would come sit next to me. When we finally became friends it was dreamlike, I didn't know how to
react it was like we were raised on different timescales, she was a woman and I still in my awkward
adolescent phase. As time went on we would talked, glanced at one another and both wanted one
another, somehow it never worked out. Five years went by, school was behind us, but the thought of
being with her still shadowed my mind. Finally, through the marvelous invention of social media, I
found her and we connected. That connection broke me in positive and negative ways, but ended up
inspiring personal growth through love and heartbreak.
At first, love came easy. There were endless nights on the phone until the sun came up. Since we
lived in the same neighborhood seeing one another became an addiction. Watching her stay up all
night studying for exams, inspired me to go back to school. Here she was working to go to medical
school, little did she know I was a high school dropout.

What Is Listening To Your Voice
Listening to Your Voice
How many of us actually listens to the person we are having a conversation with? Really listen? Not
just to the actual words that they are saying but also to the hidden language that is often referred to
as 'body language'.
Listening– this is an active process. It involves the use of many of our senses not just hearing– the
obvious one. What tone of voice are they using? What expressions are on their face? What are the
surroundings like in which the conversation is taking place? A place of peace or a place of conflict?
How many individuals are in the room? Is the conversation in person or taking place virtually? What

need to have a dialogue and not a monologue. Too often we are not really listening to the other
person but formulating our own ideas in our mind. Listening is an unselfish act, as we are putting
the needs of another person above our own. We are letting them know that they truly matter; that we
value their time and ideas, which they are sharing with us. In an ideal situation we will both benefit
from the conversation.

Arabella's grin was broad and easy, her laugh genuine. "I wouldn't say dropping his standards, per

long as she could remember. The fact that some of it – maybe a lot of it – was flirting was moot, as
far as she was concerned. She occasionally caught herself wondering if it was partly because of how
casual he was, somewhat of a piece of his history working taking the long way up the ladder. Or, at
the very least, the fact that they were close in age helped, as well. She didn't feel like she had to put

My Experience In College Students, Being A College Student
Being a college student who is taking 18 credits this semester as well as working 15 hours a week, I
experience multiple stressors every week that I try my best to deal with. Two stressors I have dealt
with the past two weeks are struggling to manage my time and arguing with my boyfriend. The past
two weeks I had a lot of assignments due as well as a major test and a quiz. I realized it was a
stressor when I got assigned our extra credit paper that was due the day before my major exam. I
was already thinking of how I was going to spend the rest of the week and the weekend to study for
my exam and quiz, prepare for my presentation, keep up with the chapters my classes are reviewing,
and work. When we got assigned the extra credit paper, I panicked a little and realized trying to
figure out how to fit all of it into my schedule was a stressor. I noticed that my heart rate slightly
increased from panicking a little and I got antsy, as in I could not sit still. I have confronted
managing my time before, when I first got my job this semester. Like I said, I am taking 18 credits,
so adding working 15 hours a week took away a lot of study time that I had to figure out how to
make up. It actually cuts into my social life a decent amount, but I live with all of my closest friends
and study with them, so I see them a decent amount. What I typically do when I freak out about how
much stuff I have to do and how little time I have, I start to plan out my days by hour in my planner.

Ethical Issues and Decision a Making in a Healthcare...
Ethical issues and decision
As a project manager, the most important rule I have to obey is to be honest.
Obviously, I will not go with the dishonest suggestion provided by my team member. If we send a
'demo version' to the client, I strongly believe that the hospital will apply the prognostic system to
their patients even after our warnings. Basically, I need to consider our company's reputation. If the
'demo system' used by mental health care services and it causes accidents, such as misinput of
patients' records, miscalculation of drug dosage. All of these results will damage our reliability,
especially when they happen in hospital, where involve taking life of a human being.
Imaging on of the patients is our relative, I suspect that none of us will apply the system for the 'go
alive' schedule, but prefer the high quality to guarantee the smooth operation which ensures the
safety of patients.
I refuse to send the defective version to the mental health care services, not only because of our
reputation and ethics towards patients, but also the responsibility we have to take if some serious
results appear. Our company may have to face lawsuit and punished according to the contract. Also,
it may pose threat to my future career.
Generally, the only benefit brought by the 'demo version' is the punctual delivery, while many
potential risks accompany with it. Therefore, after deliberateness, I will not accept the suggestion

My Hawaiian Beach Day
As I stepped onto the fiery sand of Ko'Olina Beach, I couldn't help but look around and take in all
the beautiful scenery. The exquisite green–blue water was the clearest and most elegant I'd seen. I
couldn't believe I was actually here for the first time, and I was ten years old. My whole family–
Mom, Dad, Caleb, Luke, Simon, and I were there.
As soon as we got to the beach, we set up our area by the water. Our Marriott hotel was right behind
the beach, so it was very convenient. After we finished setting up, I went into the cooler and snacked
on some Lays Sour Cream and Onion chips. "You up to toss a frisbee, Caleb?" I ask my older

We kept on playing for a while, both my team and theirs making some great play, including Hope
getting an interception. It was fun playing, but after a while everybody was getting tired. We played
a couple more minutes and then we stopped. After that we all went to play in the beautiful water.
When I stepped in, the water felt so refreshing on my feet with the hot sun pounding on the rest of
my body. I dove in and started swimming around. The waves were fairly small, so I couldn't go
diving into them like I could in Santa Cruz. I still loved the small current rippling around my feet,
almost tickling them in a mischievous way.
"Caleb, Isaac, Luke, Simon, lunchtime," my mom interrupted my thoughts. "It's sandwiches and
chips, with some Oreos!" At the sound of Oreos, we all got out of the water and came over for
lunch.
I devoured my delicious sandwich in about three bites. I then took two Oreos and ate those, taking
my time and making the sweet flavor last. After that I took some Doritos and munched them down
with crunching sounds.
Before long, almost everybody had finished eating, and I grabbed a frisbee and threw it at Nathan.
"Heads up, Nathan! Catch!" He turned and snagged it, and threw it back to me. I then flicked it to
Andrea. "Catch, Andrea!"
She caught it and chucked it to Gio, who threw it to

Reaction Paper On Deviant

  • 1. Reaction Paper On Deviant I was raised by my grandparents who had many rules and taught me that it would be disrespectful not to follow them, so it was hard for me to complete the three deviant acts to write this paper. I have spent my life following social norms to the best of my ability, even ones that seems absurd to me. The object of this assignment frightened the heck out of me and I truly wasn't sure if I was going to be able to complete it. The unspoken rule that I chose to break was the infamous 'standing in a line & waiting your turn' rule, I chose to cut into the line without saying anything at all. The first time I decided to do my deviant act was while standing in line at the Tim Hortons at St. Paul's Hospital, which was especially hard for me because I've been going there for the past four years to visit my mother. There was about 12 people standing in the line when I walked up to it and remembered that I needed to do my deviant act and that now was as good a time as any. I felt very nervous about what I was planning to do and honestly a little afraid because the area isn't exactly the greatest area's in the city. I stood at the back of the line for about 2 minutes trying to mentally prepare for what I was going to do. I finally built up the courage to walk ahead and cut into the line, leaving only one person ahead of me. No one said a single word to me, but I did notice one of the workers looking towards the line and laughing. I literally could feel the blood rushing to my face, but ... • 3. Descriptive Essay About My Wife My wife is a lovely woman who is surrounded by people who love her, has food to eat, clothes to wear, and a roof over her head, but often spends her time wondering about the things she doesn't have in life. These things being jewelry, fancy clothes, lots of money, and an overall luxurious life style. I want to give her all these things and give her a chance to go out. So I spent a very long time working to get an invitation to The Minister of Education and Mme Georges evening reception. One day I finally received the invitation and rushed home. I walked inside my home, closed the door behind me,took off my coat and hung it up, walked into the kitchen to see my wife, envelope in hand with excitement. I walk up to my wife and greet her, I hand her the envelope and she begins to tear it open. I watch and listen as she pulls out the envelope and begins reading it, when she's done I expect to see her face lit up with happiness but am disappointed when I see her expression change drastically. She seems angry and sad at the same time. Its complete silence as she throws the letter onto the table. I'm about to ask if she is ok when she stops me and murmurs the words "What good is that to me?" I am almost at a lost of words and confused. "But, my dear, I thought you would be thrilled to death. You never get a chance to go out, and this is a real affair, a wonderful one! I had an awful time getting a card. Everybody wants one. You'll see all the most important people there." Then ... • 5. My Best Friend This is the story of my high school best friend and me, and how our lives took different paths regardless of what we thought and what we assumed. My friend and I met in a unique way. At that time, I was working for my dad and needed a helper for the job I was performing. I, first told another friend about the job opportunity, which he agreed to take, but on the first day of work he had already changed his mind about working with me and asked another of his friends to take his place. This is how I met the guy that would later turn into my best–friend in my high school years. His name was Albert, he was a year younger than I was, but he talked like if he were five years older than I was; he sounded convincing, and I had no reason to doubt him. I began to build an association of him with a guy that had been schooled by life, he would always have something to say about everything, it was like if in his short life span he had gone through mayor life lessons that he felt open to share with newbies like me. As time continued to pass, our relationship started growing, as well as my suspicions to everything he would tell me; I soon learned that he would probably make a great writer, due to his immense imagination. I would just listen to him and ask questions to which he would always have answers to. "Should I ask Bianca on a date, or just continue with the friendship we have?" I would ask, "Take her on a date, but don't rush it," he would reply. "But, do I go for a kiss, or should I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Descriptive Essay About A House It was a dark brown house with red shutters. It was placed up on a hill so in the winter it was so difficult to pull the car in the garage. Inside, the walls were tan and mustard yellow. It was plain in the house but I didn't expect much. It smelt like the over–done scentsy that I put in. It was called apple–butter and that's exactly what the house smelt of. It was three stories and the basement was half finished. I painted the door a dark red and it made the whole house stick out. I remember it being so welcoming and now when I think about it, I get a cold shiver down my spine. There were holes in some of the walls from things being thrown. The front doors lock was splitting apart, the trim on the sides on the door was broken off. If those walls could talk I would go back in there for a day just to listen. I was 17 years old and moving out on my own. My dad had a rental house and decided we would move me in. My daughter and I had been staying at my dad's for about 6 months. My step–mom has never liked my dad's children so she would consistently ask my dad when we were leaving. I was sitting in the basement where our room was. It was a bright blue and usually it was so nice to walk into. I heard my dad and step–mom yelling upstairs. My dad was arguing that he didn't want her son staying at our house because he used heroin. My dad is a lawyer in town. He's always been pretty uptight and firm. She was arguing that she wanted me to leave. There was really no specific reason ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Hair Dye Research Paper Dyeing your hair for the first time can be a wonderful experience. To avoid any disappointment, we will be providing you some tips to avoid any unpleasant surprise for this first experience. Buy enough dye Depending on the length of your hair and also your desired color, you might need to purchase more than one box of hair dye. For instance if you have shoulder–length hair, you might want to ensure that you have 3 or 4 boxes of hair dyes at hand. It is better that you have more than enough dye rather than panicking halfway during your dyeing session. Choose the correct formula Not all hair dyes are created equal and it is important that you choose the one that best suits you. People with sensitive skin might want to go for dyes that are foamier in appearance. This will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This will avoid any unnecessary strain on your hair and also minimize the amount of upkeep you need. You can gradually go for darker colors if you want but keep it real for the first time. Also choosing a lighter color will allow you to make corrections in case you do not like it. It is easier to darken hair in case you do not like it. Skin tone When choosing a color for the first time make sure that you choose a shade that is appropriate for your skin tone. Some people just want their hair to look like their friends without paying attention to their own skin color. Browse the web for celebrities that have similar skin tone with you and check out their hair color. Choose something that is appropriate and not just fashionable. Do not wash your hair It is easier to dye unwashed hair because the natural oil found in your scalp protect it from any harsh chemical irritant. If you know that you are going to dye your hair soon just skip washing your hair. At the same time, this facilitates combing which can be useful for even color distribution. Appropriate

  • 12. My Perspective Of Information Management: My Perspective Information Management: My Perspective When people talk about information management, what is the first thing that comes in their mind? A person might say that information management be situated as an individual or organisation managing information. But, do they know that there is more than just managing information in the information field? However, just like everybody else, the same thought has comes across my mind when I first heard of the words information management a few years ago. But the thought has changed ever since I realised how essential information is. As of now, we live in the information age where information is a necessity and is vital for us in order to become a somebody that is not only has a lot of knowledge but also to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... And if the information is not being organised correctly, it will affect the productivity and the performance of a person, organisation and such. For instance, when there is an excessive information and it is not being managed in a correct way, the information will not be acknowledge and it will be forgettable in a short term. And if the information may be useful to the society or a person, it would be a waste if the information is not being acknowledged and being managed correctly. Who knew, the information might be giving the society or a person a big and positive impact on their life. And if any organisation, company or institutions did not manage their information or data correctly, it might increase the risk of their private or confidential information being exposed to public or stolen by irresponsible parties. In addition, as being said before, if the information not being managed correctly, it may affect the productivity of a person or organisation, as we can see, if the information is not being kept systematically, it will take up a lot of time if we want to look for any information that we have already kept or if we want to retrieve our pervious works. • 14. The Characteristics Of Batm The Hero Of The Batman Heroes exist all around us, fictional or not. They inspire us and often set us on a path of goodness and justice. USUALLY. Most heroes, realistically aren't as good as we create them to be. Batman for instance, is one of those heroes. Batman or Bruce Wayne, is Gotham's protector; a fabricated city in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. A graphic novel where the batman has long retired after the death of his heroic sidekick robin, and his sudden return to battle the crime–ridden metropolis. Furthermore, while the batman's actions seem noble and heroic; his means of attaining this dream of a just and uncorrupt Gotham was always twisted. Bruce is an excellent example of mealy– mouthedness, speaking one way but having contradicting actions; devious and insincere. But is it entirely? He fights against evil, fights against infamy with his own sense of integrity. Does that make him the villain himself? It's the controversy surrounding this HERO, is he selfless and trying achieve goodness? Or selfish enough to put any matter of lives at risk to end one evil? I'm willing to bet the latter. Following Book 1, Batman reenters the crime–fighting scene; swinging across gotham taking care of the petty crimes he runs across in the dark. Dealing with armed gunmen in a arcade, the feared MUTANTS. A gang against Gotham and it's citizens, bunched up as a bunch of kids who don't know any better. A terribly wrong assumption. Here in this scene he saves a woman named Carrie Kelly, and her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 16. Fighting Without Knowledge Will Hurt Essay In this era of information overload, our brains are bombarded by so many different news outlets it can be difficult to choose which channel you want to watch. With all the accusations of liberal or conservative bias dominating the feuds between the cable news channels, it would be easiest to choose the channel that we believe best fits our own ideological views. When you look at MSNBC and Fox News the ideologies seem to be completely opposite, but they have some similarities. Both are accused of having either a liberal or a conservative bias and it is not very difficult to tell which side the outlet leans toward, because of their constant bickering back and forth. Fox News Channel may have an abundance of conservative opinion programs ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To some this seems absurd, but it is what his base group wants to hear. Whereas on the other side, you have pundits like Ed Schultz who never criticize the current president, no matter what follies he may commit, he only demonizes the previous one, again playing to the beliefs of his following. It is the constant bickering between the people of opposing political ideologies that make the news difficult for the common man to take with a grain of salt. Beck often uses what seem to be scare tactics to get of his points across; whereas Schultz is more likely to give you his own opinion mixed in with some facts to make it all seem completely true. Neither method is successful in trying to create a balanced news outlet. In fact, the opinions of each side are grounded so far in the left or right that the middle is impossible to find. I purpose that Beck should visit MSNBC for a time, while Schultz takes a turn at FNC. Even though the notion of these dyed in the wool party supporters walking in the shoes of their polar opposites may seem absurd, but I believe that it would tone both of them down. I hope that it would give each a reality check and it would bring much needed balance to the cable channels. If the hosts were open to other people's opinions, no matter how different they were from their own, it would make the American people feel more trusting toward news people in general and give both extremes a sense of ... Wow I can remeber when you were 30yrs old and I was 20 yrs old and me teasing you for being SO much older than me, of course you always looked so much younger than me. I met Theresa in the fall of 1987. We were sitting somewhat close to each other in a business class at NMSU when I asked Theresa a question( "do you want to go to the George Strait concert'?) , little did I know that would lead to a life long friendship. During my college years Theresa was such a source of motivation when I just didn't think I had what it took to complete an accounting assignment she was by my side helping through the process. She was a source of wisdom, many times she would say " Things happen for a reason and they always turn out for the better" throughout my life I find myself reciting those same exact words and think of my dear friend Theresa given all the obstacles she has and she always had a positive outlook on whatever the situation. ... • 20. Essay On My Life Experience Each day we all experience things that are extraordinary and sometimes unforgettable. Yet it's how we let those experiences impact us individually that makes us each unique. An experience in my life that changed how I acted, thought, and felt was the first time I volunteered at my church during their summer "scamp" sessions. The "scamp" sessions aimed to make the lessons correlate to things the kids would do during summer camps. Serving at one of these session allowed the year round volunteers to continue serving if they wanted, but also have the ability to take a vacation and enjoy the church's service. Although life offers a multitude of life changing experiences, serving at Mecklenburg Community Church for the first time was greatest experience because I gained connections in my community, learned strong leadership skills and gained a desire to serve others first. It all began when I attended my first "scamp" session and I had several opportunities for jobs outside of the church over the summer and translating into the school year. The first time I served at Meck I was able to meet and be introduced to three families at the church who later reached out to me for weekly opportunities to work with their kids. In seeing the kids both in and outside of church over the summer "scamps" I gained more insight of their lives and personalities. One specific family that I met the first time I volunteered was the Harris family. I made a close bond with their youngest daughter ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Humorous Wedding Speech by the Best Man Essay Humorous Wedding Speech by the Best Man When Daniel came to me and asked me to be his best man, it was a great honour but, when I looked at all the duties required of me, I felt he'd be better off choosing someone else. Then he offered me a fifty, but I told him that it wasn't a decision that money could change. So then he offered me a hundred. Anyway, good evening Ladies and Gentlemen – My name is Rob and it's my pleasure to be Daniel's best man today. So let me tell you about all those best man duties that originally concerned me, because I was immediately stumped by the first one: 'ensure that the groom's face and hair are in order.' Now, I hope you also noticed that, as well as on time, the bridegroom arrived sober – another achievement which shouldn't be underestimated. Because Daniel does enjoy a drink from time to time, and at one point he even attempted to brew his own beer. Now most people would use berries, fruits or flowers to produce alcohol. But Daniel was the first to try fermented goats milk. He believed his beer would have nutritive value and while you may not find his brew on the off license shelves, you will still find it bubbling away in Daniel's bedroom. I just hope he hasn't brought a barrel of it along today in attempt to save a few quid. Which reminds me, I was astonished to learn, that by tradition, I am supposed to bring a cheque book or credit card to settle any payments the bridegroom may have forgotten. I wasn't too happy about this, because everyone who has ever lent Daniel money has one thing in common ... nothing! Kim, if ever you need the house to yourself or some time apart from Daniel, just lend him some money – you won't see him for days. The most enjoyable best man duty is of course arranging the stag weekend. • 26. Reflection Paper Everyone at some point in their life has had the dream where they are falling, but they never actually hit the ground. This dream is symbolic of life. Regardless of how far you fall you never hit the ground. A friend of mine, currently in pharmacy school, confides in me about how he wishes that he had done things my way, the right way as he calls it. Nevertheless, I did not grasp what he meant so one day, I implored him to explain. According to him, the "right," way is by not failing classes the first time, finishing college in 4 years, and be smart about taking the MCAT. Essentially, not screwing up the first time, so you can continue with your goals the first time around instead of getting older and wasting time. While my friend may have been right in some aspects, my personal experiences have taught me that there really is no right way. However, life does not ultimately work out the way one imagines. You do fail, you do break down, you are frightened and you learn to get up regardless of the circumstances. This life lesson has been instilled into me for the past five years from my experiences that also lead me to want to become a doctor. In my teenage years, I volunteered with a nursing and later with Hospice Advantage where I mainly socialized and helped the nurses with activities for the residents. I have allowed this small, compact technology device that is screwed into the concrete wall, to control my life Monday through Friday. I know without a doubt, that if I punch that small button on time, the rest of my day is guaranteed to be smooth sailing. You see, I'm not a person that wakes up refreshed, smelling the Folders coffee in the morning, while birds are singing beautifully to me. I purposely pile on the stress and it creates this anxiety in my life, mainly in the mornings while racing to get ready and drive to work. I have no understanding to why I do this to myself, but I am my own villain and procrastination is my toxic poison. When volunteering to help organizations, causes, or people one 's time is not being used for just a singular outcome but several diverse establishments. Not only do efforts aid in promoting positive impacts in one 's society but also in one 's own character. I frequently chose to volunteer at the Lisbon Lepper Library, a public library where copious amounts of people choose to spend their free time, because I was able to aid in various departments and interact with diverse groups of patrons. My favorite place to contribute to in the library was the Children 's Department due to the enthusiasm and need apparent in those patrons. I had the honor of meeting hundreds of children through my volunteer work, all of which carried unique burdens but always wore a smile and were able to put one on me too. I'm currently stationed in the Mayan Zone of Cancun, Mexico, and I am aware of the conditions that shape my experience. Before coming here, even though I had not perceived the true details that composed this place, I held on to expectations of what it would be like; I knew I was going to engage with Mayan communities; with the terminally ill and elderly; with children and youth made vulnerable due to poverty and addictions; and with jailed women. Being raised in El Salvador, a developing country, gave me a general idea of what my gap year would show me. However, once I got here, I found myself looking for faces I could draw, and expressions that I could feel. I was enthralled, and I could focus only on capturing the emotions that surrounded me. You were a soldier, and you saved me. Had I remained in the concentration camp any longer, I would have died. Although I was there just a few months (having been discovered a short time before the war ended), my entire family–my mother, father, and sister– managed to perish in the flames of the crematorium. But when you stood inside the barbed wire with me, carrying the flag that bears freedom, I knew I could not burn with them. I only survived because you liberated me. After meeting this young lady, her life merged with mine in a way that reassured this belief. Ten years ago, I met her for the first time as she chased down the school bus making it just in time to walk on with a head full of long black hair and a puffy gold jacket that reminded me of the 80's. Pretending to look carelessly out the divided bus window, I would secretly wish she would come sit next to me. When we finally became friends it was dreamlike, I didn't know how to react it was like we were raised on different timescales, she was a woman and I still in my awkward adolescent phase. It involves the use of many of our senses not just hearing– the obvious one. What tone of voice are they using? What expressions are on their face? Is the conversation in person or taking place virtually? What are the ages of the individuals? What is the relationship like between the individuals or the group who are talking? We need to have a dialogue and not a monologue. Too often we are not really listening to the other person but formulating our own ideas in our mind. Listening is an unselfish act, as we are putting the needs of another person above our own. We are letting them know that they truly matter; that we value their time and ideas, which they are sharing with us. In an ideal situation we will both benefit from the conversation. Listening to your voice. When we think about these words we automatically think about the vocal voice. What about the unspoken voice? • 61. Arabella's Parody: A Fictional Narrative Arabella's grin was broad and easy, her laugh genuine. "I wouldn't say dropping his standards, per say...maybe just skewing them slightly." Joking and laughing with Leo was easy and had been for as long as she could remember. The fact that some of it – maybe a lot of it – was flirting was moot, as far as she was concerned. She occasionally caught herself wondering if it was partly because of how casual he was, somewhat of a piece of his history working taking the long way up the ladder. Or, at the very least, the fact that they were close in age helped, as well. She didn't feel like she had to put on airs around him to keep his respect, or his friendship, for that matter. • 67. My Experience In College Students, Being A College Student Being a college student who is taking 18 credits this semester as well as working 15 hours a week, I experience multiple stressors every week that I try my best to deal with. Two stressors I have dealt with the past two weeks are struggling to manage my time and arguing with my boyfriend. The past two weeks I had a lot of assignments due as well as a major test and a quiz. I realized it was a stressor when I got assigned our extra credit paper that was due the day before my major exam. I was already thinking of how I was going to spend the rest of the week and the weekend to study for my exam and quiz, prepare for my presentation, keep up with the chapters my classes are reviewing, and work. When we got assigned the extra credit paper, I panicked a little and realized trying to figure out how to fit all of it into my schedule was a stressor. I noticed that my heart rate slightly increased from panicking a little and I got antsy, as in I could not sit still. I have confronted managing my time before, when I first got my job this semester. Like I said, I am taking 18 credits, so adding working 15 hours a week took away a lot of study time that I had to figure out how to make up. It actually cuts into my social life a decent amount, but I live with all of my closest friends and study with them, so I see them a decent amount. What I typically do when I freak out about how much stuff I have to do and how little time I have, I start to plan out my days by hour in my planner. I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 73. Ethical Issues and Decision a Making in a Healthcare... Ethical issues and decision As a project manager, the most important rule I have to obey is to be honest. Obviously, I will not go with the dishonest suggestion provided by my team member. If we send a 'demo version' to the client, I strongly believe that the hospital will apply the prognostic system to their patients even after our warnings. Basically, I need to consider our company's reputation. If the 'demo system' used by mental health care services and it causes accidents, such as misinput of patients' records, miscalculation of drug dosage. All of these results will damage our reliability, especially when they happen in hospital, where involve taking life of a human being. Imaging on of the patients is our relative, I suspect that none of us will apply the system for the 'go alive' schedule, but prefer the high quality to guarantee the smooth operation which ensures the safety of patients. I refuse to send the defective version to the mental health care services, not only because of our reputation and ethics towards patients, but also the responsibility we have to take if some serious results appear. Our company may have to face lawsuit and punished according to the contract. Also, it may pose threat to my future career. Generally, the only benefit brought by the 'demo version' is the punctual delivery, while many potential risks accompany with it. • 75. Creative Writing: Joshua Hale Burnes I had one tattoo, but I was afraid of forever – of commitment. My tattoo stood for everything that meant forever to me: my brother. "Joshua Hale Burnes" was etched into every fine line and crevice of my wrist, in the most spirally and gothic of fonts. I had plenty of scars that would only fade and never disappear, but my scars weren't a commitment. Promising my therapist I'd try to get better, promising my mom to raise my 3.9 GPA – these were a few of the "promises" I was scared of. Who knew if I could get better? Who knew if I wanted to get better? I peered into the backseat. Joshua's eyes were traveling down the window, along with the raindrops. His blue eyes were like lightning. Our Marriott hotel was right behind the beach, so it was very convenient. After we finished setting up, I went into the cooler and snacked on some Lays Sour Cream and Onion chips. We played a couple more minutes and then we stopped. After that we all went to play in the beautiful water. When I stepped in, the water felt so refreshing on my feet with the hot sun pounding on the rest of my body. I dove in and started swimming around. The waves were fairly small, so I couldn't go diving into them like I could in Santa Cruz. I still loved the small current rippling around my feet, almost tickling them in a mischievous way. I devoured my delicious sandwich in about three bites. I then took two Oreos and ate those, taking my time and making the sweet flavor last. After that I took some Doritos and munched them down with crunching sounds. Before long, almost everybody had finished eating, and I grabbed a frisbee and threw it at Nathan. "Heads up, Nathan!
