Students were asked to describe their homework space in 3-5 sentences in their journal. They then had a daily language review on complete subjects and predicates, writing a sentence from their weekend underlining the parts of speech. Next was a quiz where students cleared their desks, brought pencils, wrote their name and period, were silent, and finished by turning their paper over until the identity boxes activity.
