4. Helpful Hints for Working in Pairs Choose a shoulder buddy. A shoulder buddy is somebody who sits next to you. Your shoulders face his/her shoulders. Pass materials. Passing means gently handing work tools to the person who has requested them. Use your 2-inch voice, otherwise known as a whisper. If you have a question that you absolutely cannot answer, raise your hand and I will come to you. Be mindful of time.
5. Today Say, Mean, Matter and your Dual Entry sheets on left corner of your desk. Claim, clarification, warrants and hook in your notebook. Work with a shoulder buddy using the handout provided.
