Studying of human body
The human body is the structure of a human being.
 It is composed of many different types of cells that together
create tissues and subsequently organ systems.
It comprises a head, neck, trunk (which includes the thorax
and abdomen), arms and hands, legs and feet.
Definition:
 The body is studied by health professionals:
• Sports scientist
• Neuroscientists
• Prosthetic limb developer
• Dietician
• Haematologist
• optometrist
Continue:
 Sports science is a discipline that studies how the
healthy human body works during exercise.
 Sport and physical activity promote health and
performance from cellular to whole body
perspectives.
Sports scientist:
 A neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in
treating diseases of the nervous system.
 Illnesses, disorders, and injuries that involve the
nervous system often require a neurologist’s
management and treatment.
Study of scientists:
 Prosthetic implant is an artificial device that replaces
a missing body part, which may be lost through :
Trauma,
Disease,
or a condition present at birth
Prosthetic limb developer:
Prosthetic fingers:
Prosthetic toes:
 Dietician - a specialist in the study of nutrition.
 A dietitian is an expert in dietetics; that is, human
nutrition and the regulation of diet.
Dietician:
 It helps in study the way your blood changes when
you are ill.
 Their test results can show doctors exactly what the
problem is.
Haematologist:
 Optometry is a health care profession that involves
examining the eyes and applicable visual systems for
defects or abnormalities as well as the medical
diagnosis and management of eye disease.
