Following menu review, invite nutritionist to eat lunch with the children. </li></ul><ul><li>Expand toys that promote co-operation in first school. </li></ul><ul><li>Link with Mulberry House Way, include in circle times and assemblies. </li></ul><ul><li>Involve parents in the transition process by inviting them to visit their child’s next class and meet their new key person. </li></ul><ul><li>Improve links with feeder schools to support children’s transition to new schools at 7. Invite Headteachers/class teachers to visit. </li></ul>

Read a familiar story in their home language. Develop ideas from In-service Summer 2010 with Penny Tassoni on communication and language development. </li></ul><ul><li>Promote the use of Rhyme Bags and listening games as home school link. </li></ul><ul><li>Use National Curriculum Levels of attainment at the end of Year 2 to compare to predicted levels. </li></ul><ul><li>Revisit and further promote Camden L.A.’s EYFS Principles for inclusion into weekly planning. </li></ul>

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES <ul><li>Enter Year 1 children in ISA drama competition. </li></ul><ul><li>Enter a local football tournament at Belmont School. </li></ul><ul><li>Continue to hold annual art exhibition at the Tricycle theatre. </li></ul><ul><li>Introducing touch typing for Year 1 and 2. </li></ul><ul><li>Introduce lunch time chess club. </li></ul><ul><li>Further promote singing in the school by inviting parents to performances. </li></ul>

The Vicar from St Cuthbert’s Church leads the Harvest Festival assembly for all second school pupils. </li></ul><ul><li>Water Aid to hold an assembly on water conservation . </li></ul><ul><li>Raise awareness of green issues. Collect shoes for the Shoe Biz Appeal. </li></ul>
