I can play simple music on one/two instruments 
I can play quite complex music on one/two instruments 
I understand how to read and then play some of/ most of the music 
signs and notation 
I can take part in a performance and keep in time with others/backing 
track 
I know when I have got notes wrong and can put them right the next 
time 
I can play most of my pieces accurately and know what I have to do to 
improve my performance 
I know how to practice effectively 
I can work independently
