3. Front cover inspiration
For the inspiration for my front album cover I chose Devlins “Bud sweat & Beers”
front cover. As you can see the use of urban setting is relevant and so sticks to my
convention. Also with the fact the two main aspects of the covers are the artist and
the album name/artist name.
4. Back Cover
Back cover used
many of the same
conventions I used
for the front cover,
with the addition of
tracklisting, barcode
and the copyright
information at the
bottom which you
wouldn’t get on a
front cover.
9. Inspiration for CD inserts
The inspiration I took for my CD inserts were those of the CD inserts I already
owned. They contained a lot of family photo’s for the artists in around their 30’s.
Seeing as my artist was 17 years old at the time I used screenshots from the
music video in which could be mistaken for an actual photo shoot. These are
similar to the examples I looked at seeing as not much editing had been done to
them before put into a CD insert. Showing the rawness and authenticity of the
artist.
