4. Cut off one of the bivium rays and create a
cross section
5. Locate the eyespot at the tip of the ray of a
trivium
6. Using scissors or a scalpel, carefully cut along
the sides of a trivium ray from the eyespot to
the central disk, extend the incision aroudn
the central disk but go around the
madreporite so it stays attached

8. Remove the organ (stomach) and locate the
water vascular system
9. Remove the digestive glands and view the
gonads
Identify gender, ovaries are orange while
testes are gray
