comprehension ability.
It is easy to use and it promotes language learning; a
learner might find relevant language information after
clicking on the hypertext.
Example: Wikipedia is a good example of a webpage with
hypertexts.
3. HYPERMEDIA
Hypermedia are links that transfer a learner to a world of
sounds, videos, images, audios, games, virtual
environments.
Hypermedia affect language learning effectively; it
enhances the learner`s speaking, listening skills.
Hypermedia increases the learner`s motivation to learn a
language; because it catches the learner`s attention and
interest.
Hypermedia linking to audios would help the learner to
have a better pronunciation.
Example: blogs, wikis, google are good examples of
hypermedia; the internet itself is full of hypermedia.
4. MULTIMEDIA
Multimedia complement the learner`s language learning
process.
It supports grammar and vocabulary learning; by looking at
images.
It enhances all language skills by exposing the learner to
authentic learning material; audios with real life
conversations; videos of documentaries with subtitles of
the second language.
By recording or filming yourself you can check your
language level and make improvements where needed.
